Join Lonza as an Accounts Receivable Analyst and play a key role in supporting our financial operations and customer relationships. In this position, you will help drive cash collection performance, resolve customer account issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure outstanding customer experience while contributing to Lonza’s continued growth.

What you will do:

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely payment of invoices through proactive communication and relationship management.

• Develop and execute effective collection strategies to improve payment performance and meet cash collection targets.

• Partner closely with Commercial and other internal stakeholders to resolve disputes and support business objectives.

• Investigate outstanding balances, identify root causes of payment issues, and drive resolution with customers.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collection activities, customer interactions, payment commitments, and account status updates.

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, delivering excellent service and ensuring prompt issue resolution.

• Support invoice management processes, including customer portal uploads and quality checks to ensure billing accuracy.

What we are looking for:

• Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.

• Experience in accounts receivable specifically within collections; Shared Service Center experience is advantageous.

• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions using available data.

• High attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality standards.
