About Dossier
Dossier is a Norwegian-founded healthcare SaaS company modernizing how US health systems build and prove clinical competency. Our platform — ProFile competency management, Clinical Laddering, and Dossier Learn — is trusted by leading cancer centers, academic medical centers, and multi-site health systems across the country. We're building the US revenue team that keeps our customers growing with us.
The role
As an Account Manager, you'll own the commercial relationship for a portfolio of our US health-system customers. You have two mandates: retain the base through clean, well-run renewals, and grow it through expansion.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who knows how to build trusted relationships with healthcare customers and wants to own the commercial side of them. You'll run renewals end-to-end, lead pricing and negotiation, deepen senior relationships, and grow our footprint into new departments, products, and sites within your accounts. You'll partner tightly with our Sales, Product, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver value and drive growth across your accounts — and you'll help shape our renewal and expansion playbook as the US business grows.
What you'll do
- Own every renewal end-to-end: run a 12-month rolling renewal calendar anchored to contractual notice deadlines, open conversations well ahead of the renewal date, lead pricing/terms/multi-year negotiations, and land clean paper every time
- Carry an expansion quota by growing your accounts into new departments, additional products, and new sites within existing health systems
- Build account plans for your top strategic accounts: whitespace maps, org maps to CNO/CNE/CFO level, and multithreaded relationships (at least three stakeholders per strategic account)
- Build and present data-driven business cases to healthcare leadership that show the ROI and cost savings of standardizing on Dossier across departments and systems
- Run quarterly executive business reviews with strategic customers — ROI, compliance outcomes, roadmap, growth plan
- Own the retention strategy and renewal planning across your book
- Own renewal and expansion forecasting in HubSpot with weekly hygiene: stages, amounts, close dates, renewal dates, next steps
- Partner with our Enterprise AEs on account handoffs, and feed competitive and product intelligence back to sales, CS, and product
- Travel to customer sites and industry events (ANCC, AONL, regional nursing leadership conferences)
Requirements
- 5+ years in healthcare SaaS or a related field, in a role where you owned or directly grew customer relationships — account management, expansion or full-cycle sales, or a customer success / account-facing role with retention and growth responsibility
- A track record of keeping customers and growing them — whether measured as quota attainment, net revenue retention, expansion, or documented account growth and renewals you drove
- Healthcare experience strongly preferred: you've worked with health systems and can navigate CNO, CNE, CHRO, CFO, nurse educators, IT, and procurement stakeholders
- Data-fluent and a strong presenter — you're comfortable building and presenting data-driven business cases to healthcare executives, particularly nursing leadership (CNO/CNE), and can show how standardizing on Dossier across departments and sites drives measurable cost savings, efficiency, and compliance outcomes
- Comfort with commercial conversations — pricing, negotiation, and contract discussions — or clear readiness to own them; experience with multi-year agreements, down-sell defense, and procurement/legal at large IDNs is a strong plus
- Operating rigor: you run your book from a CRM (HubSpot a plus), forecast accurately, and never miss a deadline
- A builder's mindset — you're comfortable creating a process where it doesn't exist yet. Fluency with AI-assisted workflows is a genuine advantage on this team
- Willingness to travel ~25–30%
