A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for an Account Director reporting to General Manager Sales.
A bit about your role
As an Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening and growing nbn’s strategic customer relationships, creating meaningful partnerships that deliver long-term value for both our customers and the organisation. You will develop and execute strategic account plans and engagement strategies, identifying opportunities for mutual success and building a strong pipeline of growth opportunities across nbn’s product portfolio. Through thoughtful account management and a deep understanding of customer priorities, you will help drive revenue growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and support the achievement of nbn’s strategic objectives.
In this role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align customer needs with nbn’s product value propositions, ensuring a collaborative and customer-centric approach to delivering outcomes. You will champion customer insights and account priorities across the business, influencing strategic decision-making and fostering strong cross-functional partnerships that enable exceptional account experiences and sustainable growth.
A bit about you
You are a commercially astute and relationship-focused sales professional with significant experience managing and growing strategic accounts within large, complex organisations. You have a proven track record of developing account strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and building trusted partnerships that create shared value. Your ability to connect the needs of customers with business objectives allows you to confidently navigate complex environments and deliver meaningful outcomes.
You are a collaborative and influential leader who thrives on bringing people together to achieve a common purpose. With highly developed communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, you build credibility at executive levels and foster strong networks both internally and externally. You are strategic in your thinking, proactive in your approach, and motivated by creating positive outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the communities nbn serves. Your ability to balance commercial priorities with genuine partnership ensures you can contribute to nbn’s continued success while helping shape the future of Australia’s digital connectivity.
