In this customer-focused role, you'll join our Service Provider team as an Account CTO, serving as a senior technical advisor for a strategic customer. You will work closely with customer executives, Cisco account teams, and global Product and Engineering leaders to shape technology strategy, accelerate innovation, and strengthen strategic partnerships.
You'll be part of a high-performing team that combines deep technical expertise with a customer-first mindset to help customers achieve their business and technology objectives.
Your Impact
As an Account CTO, you will identify opportunities to solve complex business challenges and define technology strategies aligned to the customer's priorities and long-term goals.
You will:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive and senior technology leaders.
- Translate technology investments into clear business value and measurable outcomes.
- Develop solutions that leverage Cisco's portfolio to address customer priorities.
- Influence and align cross-functional teams to validate and advance strategic initiatives.
- Partner with Cisco Product and Engineering teams to shape innovation and technology strategy.
- Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- 20+ years of customer-facing technical leadership experience, partnering with Service Provider organizations on technology strategy, business transformation, and innovation initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align executive, technical, and business leaders across complex organizations, driving strategic outcomes without direct authority.
- Deep expertise in Service Provider networking and architecture, with strong knowledge of Service Provider Routing & Switching, Automation & Orchestration, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Enterprise Networking, Cybersecurity, and Data Center technologies.
- Proven experience engaging with C-suite and senior executives, translating complex technologies into business value and strategic outcomes.
- CCIE, CCNP, or equivalent industry-recognized expertise.
- Telecommunications industry experience with a strong understanding of Service Provider market trends, business drivers, and emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing technology strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes, including revenue growth, operational efficiency, and customer experience improvements.
- Experience leading large-scale transformation programs, strategic technology partnerships, or innovation initiatives.
- Recognized as a trusted advisor with the ability to shape technology roadmaps and influence investment decisions.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies, particularly AI and Cybersecurity.
- Strong business and commercial acumen, with the ability to connect technology investments to business priorities and financial outcomes.
