About the role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator with deep expertise in collaboration and productivity platforms. This role is all about technical depth and ownership — architecting reliable systems, solving the toughest problems, digging into logs, writing automation, and owning the stability and performance of Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom, Jira, and Office 365. You'll serve as a senior technical authority and escalation point, a trusted partner who thrives on solving what others can't, and an engineer who designs smarter, scalable ways to keep systems running seamlessly to drive employee productivity across the organization.

What You'll do: 

• Serve as the final escalation point for complex incidents/requests across Slack, GSuite (Google Workspace), Zoom, ProofPoint, Jira, and Office 365.
• Lead deep technical troubleshooting at the application, integration, and infrastructure layers — including API calls, logs, and network dependencies.
• Configure, optimize, and maintain these platforms for performance, security, and scalability.
• Write and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for repetitive tasks, reporting, and integrations.
• Diagnose and resolve authentication/SSO/MFA issues (Mainly Okta, some Microsoft AD).
• Analyze system and application logs to pinpoint root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Build and maintain integrations between enterprise tools (e.g., Slack bots, Jira workflows, Zoom add-ons, Office 365 connectors), ensuring reliability and security.
• Drive and/or otherwise assist with SaaS application deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
• Manage vendor relationships, driving accountability on critical issues and providing feedback to influence product roadmaps where appropriate.
• Document troubleshooting processes, scripts, and technical solutions for knowledge sharing.

What you bring:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering, SaaS administration, or platform engineering, with a demonstrated track record of senior-level technical ownership.

Expert-level experience with Slack admin console, GSuite (Google Workspace), Zoom admin portal, Jira administration, ProofPoint, and Office 365 tenant management.Strong expertise in identity and access management, including SSO integrations, MFA, and directory services (Okta).Advanced scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Python, or comparable languages, with experience building reusable tools and integrations.Proven ability to debug APIs and integrations between enterprise SaaS platforms.Fluency with log analysis platforms, monitoring dashboards, and observability tooling.Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset — proven track record of resolving “unsolvable” issues.

• The Okta Veteran: 6+ years of dedicated experience with Okta and Okta Workflows. You should be comfortable with advanced workflow logic (API Connectors, Custom Functions, and Error Handling).
• The Device Specialist: Deep hands-on experience with MDM solutions (Intune and Jamf) and how they exchange signals with Identity Providers (IdP).
• The Workflow Automation Power User: Expert at leveraging Workday RaaS (Reports-as-a-Service) and Business Process (BP) events as triggers for complex Okta Workflows. You can parse nested JSON payloads from Workday to drive sophisticated logic for role changes, legal entity transfers, and high-risk terminations with zero manual intervention.
• The Troubleshooter: Expertise in running complex Okta queries and interpreting Syslog data to solve "needle in a haystack" integration issues.
• The Modern Scripter: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript to fill the gaps where out-of-the-box connectors end.
• The Innovator: A portfolio or history of building automation, bots, or custom tools that improved the employee experience.

• Implement and manage network security solutions with a focus on Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Zscaler.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, topologies, and processes.
• Proactively monitor network performance and ensure high availability using advanced tools.

Qualifications:

• CCNA or equivalent certifications- a must
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering- a must

• Familiarity with SSL certificate management and implementation.
• Experience with VoIP technologies and troubleshooting.
