WHO YOU ARE
As a Sr. Solutions Manager, you are an experienced people manager and senior-level solution strategist with a strong background in life and annuity operations, implementation, and enterprise technology ecosystems. You bring depth in solution definition, cross-functional collaboration, and client engagement, and you serve as a critical bridge between business needs and technical execution.
You lead a small team of Solutions Consultants/Managers, provide elevated guidance on complex solution efforts, and ensure the delivery of consistent, scalable, and client-aligned outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a small team of Solutions Consultants or Solutions Managers, guiding their professional development, solutioning skills, and delivery quality.
- Provide coaching on requirements discovery, facilitation, documentation, and client engagement best practices.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and capability-building activities for the team.
Solution Definition & Oversight
- Lead and oversee solution scoping and requirements activities for complex clients or multi-track initiatives.
- Ensure solution approaches are aligned to Zinnia’s architecture, product capabilities, and strategic direction.
- Review and approve team-produced documentation for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Client Engagement
- Serve as a senior-level resource for client discussions, escalations, and alignment needs.
- Translate client business objectives into structured, feasible solution recommendations.
- Act as the voice of the customer during internal planning sessions to ensure end-to-end alignment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and other capability areas to ensure solutions are feasible and well-integrated across functions.
- Collaborate with Sales or Pre-Sales when solutioning support is needed for strategic pursuits.
- Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions to drive alignment, manage risks, and ensure holistic outcomes.
Process & Delivery Excellence
- Ensure solutioning best practices, templates, and methodologies are followed across the team.
- Identify process gaps and workflow improvements to increase efficiency and solution quality.
- Promote consistency in requirements management, solution documentation, and internal knowledge sharing.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis, solutions consulting, implementations, or related roles within life insurance, annuities, financial services, or similar industries.
- 3+ years leading teams of consultants and managers, providing strategic guidance, performance coaching and development.
- Strong understanding of operational processes, enterprise systems, and cross-functional interdependencies.
- Demonstrated expertise in requirements gathering, solution definition, and facilitation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with standard productivity and requirements tools.

- Lead initial project scoping and analysis activities, including pricing exercises and impact assessments.
- Facilitate detailed Solution Definition meetings, ensuring all relevant stakeholders and materials are included to achieve a cohesive solution.
- Conduct solution planning sessions to align cross-functional teams and ensure clarity in delivery objectives.
- Leverage your knowledge of client implementations, operations, and Zinnia’s business offerings to ensure solutions are practical, aligned, and scalable.
- Act as the voice of the customer—translating business objectives into actionable Zinnia solutions that adhere to our IT and architectural frameworks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and efficiency within client engagements.
- Support the estimation and proposal process by clarifying scope, dependencies, and risks.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Technology, Finance, Compliance, Tax) to ensure comprehensive solution design.
- Assist with internal and external training initiatives to build organizational knowledge and support the ongoing evolution of delivery best practices.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring every client solution supports both strategic goals and operational realities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
- 7–10 years of experience in the life, annuity, or financial services industry, with significant exposure to both business and technology functions.
- Proven expertise in business analysis, systems analysis, or solution design within enterprise technology environments.
- Deep understanding of the interdependencies between Operations, Technology, and corporate functions such as Finance, Compliance, and Tax.
- Strong grasp of methodologies supporting the planning and requirements phases of the SDLC.
- Knowledge of agile practices and familiarity with collaboration tools such as JIRA and Airtable.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think both strategically and tactically.
- Experience leading client-facing solution sessions and presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; familiarity with project management tools preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Analyst with strong technical expertise, business acumen, and strategic problem-solving abilities. In this role, you will independently own and drive analytics initiatives within the Operations team, translating data into actionable insights that improve efficiency, decision-making, and key business KPIs.
You will work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Product, Data Engineering, and Business Strategy to identify opportunities for process optimization, automate decision-making, and create scalable analytics frameworks. This is a high-impact individual contributor role that requires both deep analytical skills and the ability to influence business strategy through data.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Drive analytics strategy: Independently own and drive key analytics initiatives in Operations, proactively identifying areas for efficiency improvements and cost optimization.
- Advanced analytics & measurement: Move beyond basic dashboards and leverage inferential modeling, causal analysis, and experimental design to generate actionable insights.
- Experimentation & testing: Design and implement A/B tests to measure the impact of operational improvements, optimizing key processes such as fraud detection, customer interactions, and compliance.
- Operational KPIs & business impact: Develop frameworks to measure Turnaround Time (TAT), Cost Per Transaction, SLA adherence, and other key operational metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on Operations, Business Strategy, or Process Optimization.
- Expertise in SQL, Python and with a strong ability to work with relational cloud databases (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake) and unstructured datasets.
- Experience designing A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to drive operational improvements.
- Strong statistical knowledge, including regression analysis, time-series forecasting, and causal inference modeling.
- Experience in operations analytics such as workforce efficiency, process optimization, risk modeling, and compliance analytics.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and the ability to present insights effectively to leadership.
