We believe subscription revenue is won in the details, not in the pitch deck. Paywall copy, trial lengths, price points, renewal offers, reactivation campaigns: each one is a craft, and each one moves the number when it is done right. We are hiring a Product Manager with strong monetization craft to run experimentation across both of our products

The Role

Your mission is clear: you help turn players into paying subscribers, and keep them, across Yousician and GuitarTuna.

You will run paywall, pricing, and offer experimentation end to end for both products. Hypothesis, brief, ship, readout, decision. You will maintain the live revenue forecast that ties every test back to the quarterly plan, and reconcile it monthly against what actually landed. Multiple tests run every week. Every one of them has a written brief and a clean readout.

This is a senior specialist role. You come in with a point of view on paywall mechanics, price point elasticity, trial length trade-offs, holdout discipline, and primary-metric selection. You will report to the Head of Revenue and work closely with them to translate monetization priorities into a concrete experimentation roadmap. You will work day to day with embedded engineers on both products, a test designer, and a data partner. You are a strong monetization specialist and a key thought partner on experimentation, pricing, paywalls, and offers.

What You'll Do

• Run the Experiment Cadence: Own the weekly operating rhythm for monetization experimentation across both products, including planning, launch readiness, readouts, and decision follow-through. Ensure each experiment has a clear hypothesis, success metric, guardrails, and decision rule before it goes live.
• Own the Test Portfolio Execution: Translate agreed monetization priorities into a concrete test roadmap across Yousician, GuitarTuna mobile, and the GuitarTuna web experience. Design variants, write briefs, specify subscription-platform configuration, and work with engineering on delivery.
• Maintain the Revenue View: Maintain the live monetization forecast and experiment-level revenue view, and help reconcile plan vs actual together with the Head of Revenue and Finance.
• Partner with Finance on Pricing: You build the case for every price change, walk Finance through the numbers, and manage the rollout across iOS, Android, and Web with the regional and store constraints that come with it.
• Keep the Scorecard Honest: Maintain the weekly Monetization Tracker and experiment readout cadence, ensuring that key metrics, forecasts, and decisions stay consistent and reliable. Partner with the Head of Revenue, Data, and Finance to investigate mismatches and keep the monetization view decision-ready.
  
  

Who You Are

• You bring strong monetization craft: You have shipped across the full spectrum: paywall copy, paywall placement, price points, trial variants, intro offers, winback campaigns. You know where the wins usually come from and where the traps are.
• You are resourceful and proactive: You do not wait for perfect conditions. You can spot practical opportunities, identify problems worth solving, and move things forward in an under-resourced or ambiguous setup. Whether through tooling, lightweight prototyping, or creative cross-functional problem solving, you know how to turn momentum into shipped work.
• You think in numbers: Baseline, uplift, volume, EUR. When you pitch a test, you already know what it is worth. When you kill one, you can explain why in one sentence.
• You have opinions on methodology: You have views on MDE-setting, holdout design, sample ratio mismatch, guardrail thresholds, and sequential testing. You can defend them and you update them when the data tells you to.
• You decide by the data: You have killed winning-looking tests when the stats did not support them, and you have shipped underwhelming-looking ones when the logic did. You do not fall in love with hypotheses.
• You understand the full system: Monetization decisions do not live in isolation. A price change can affect winbacks, a paywall test can change retention, and a trial decision can shift downstream value. You can think across the full subscriber lifecycle and make decisions with LTV in mind, not just immediate conversion.
• You communicate directly: You write briefs that engineers can build and readouts that Finance can trust. Conclusion first, numbers second, caveats third.

Requirements

• 5+ years in monetization, paywall, pricing, or subscription PM roles at a consumer subscription business. Mobile preferred, web acceptable.
• Shipped at least 30 paywall, pricing, or offer experiments you personally scoped, briefed, and read out.
• Fluency with experimentation platforms such as Eppo, Statsig, GrowthBook, Optimizely, or an in-house equivalent. You understand how metrics, guardrails, and variants are configured, and can work effectively with data and engineering to ensure experiments are set up correctly.
• Working knowledge of mobile subscription mechanics: trial lengths, intro offers, grace periods, renewal cycles, refund behaviour on iOS and Android.
• Strong analytical fluency with SQL familiarity. You are comfortable validating analysis, interrogating results, and partnering closely with analysts on experiment readouts. 
• Ideally, you have direct experience with RevenueCat, Adapty, Purchasely, or a comparable subscription platform.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Based in Berlin or Helsinki.

WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY

You will be the most senior HR person at Yousician. You will own the full people function with a small team around you: one HR/Office Manager and a part-time recruiter. No big department to hide behind and high ownership from day one. We are a Finnish music tech company going through a real growth transformation. We are leaning into AI across everything we do, cutting process debt, and building a company that can move fast with a lean team. HR is not exempt from that expectation.

What you will own

• HR Operations and Employee Lifecycle
  You own the full employee lifecycle end to end: onboarding, offboarding, performance, development, and day-to-day employee support. You run it hands-on and you make it run well. You are the person managers call when something is hard, and you give them a straight answer. You translate legal requirements into practical, clear internal processes rather than hiding behind policy documents.
• HRIS and Systems 
  You are the system owner for Rippling. You keep it clean, use it properly, and get more out of it than most people would. Data accuracy, process efficiency, and reporting capability are your responsibility. You find ways to automate what should be automated, and you have strong opinions about which tools help and the initiative to implement them.
• People Development 
  You support leaders in building high-performing, engaged teams. You plan and drive initiatives around learning, development, and career growth. You coach managers on feedback, people leadership, and team development, and you do it in a way that actually changes behavior rather than just ticking a box.
• Performance Management 
  You own the performance management framework: goal-setting, review cycles, development conversations. You make sure expectations are clear, fair, and consistently applied across the company. When the process is not working, you fix it.
• Process and Organizational Development 
  You identify operational gaps and build practical solutions. You develop scalable HR processes and policies that fit a company our size, not a 500-person enterprise. You support organizational change and transformation without adding unnecessary bureaucracy.
• AI-Augmented Ways of Working
  You use AI tools as a matter of course, not as a novelty. Where a bigger team might throw headcount at a problem, you find a smarter way. This is not optional: it is central to how we expect this role to operate.

Who you are

• You have done this before in a fast-moving tech or software company. You know what lean looks like and you do not need a team of five to get things done. You are the kind of person who figures it out rather than escalating upward.
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and a bit of chaos. Not because you like chaos for its own sake, but because you know how to bring order to it without slowing everything down.
• You know Finnish labor law well enough to navigate it practically, not just theoretically. Knowledge of German labor law is a plus: we have a growing team in Berlin and that context will matter.
• You are genuinely curious about AI tools and already use them in your work. If that sentence made you roll your eyes, this is probably not the right role.
• You can hold a strategic conversation with the CEO in the morning and sort out a payroll question in the afternoon without either feeling beneath you.

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to own and elevate marketing analytics across Performance Marketing and CRM, spanning both app and web.

This is a highly impactful individual contributor role for someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and insight where systems and standards are still evolving. You will be the primary analytical partner for Performance Marketing & CRM, with broad ownership over measurement frameworks, reporting, experimentation, and decision support.

You’ll play a critical role in helping us improve marketing efficiency by improving attribution, standardizing metrics, enabling better spend decisions, and connecting acquisition efforts to long-term subscriber value.

WHAT YOU’ll DO

• Own performance and CRM analytics across channels (Google, Meta, TikTok, Braze, etc.), app and web, from acquisition through subscription, retention, and LTV.
• Ensure consistent implementation, validation, and reporting of marketing performance metrics, in alignment with definitions and priorities set by leadership.

• Build, improve, and maintain attribution frameworks (multi-touch, incrementality-focused approaches) and support the development of MMM and predictive LTV/CAC models in collaboration with Data Science.
• Identify and address inconsistencies in tracking, event definitions, and conversion logic across platforms, operating systems and channels.

• Design and evaluate experiments to measure incrementality of channels, campaigns, creatives, and CRM initiatives.
• Partner with Performance Marketing and Creative to shape testing roadmaps and interpret results into clear budget and creative decisions.

• Build and evolve dashboards and reporting that move beyond surface-level reporting and actively inform decisions (e.g. spend vs. targets, efficiency vs. scale trade-offs).
• Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for Performance Marketing, CRM, Monetization, Product, and senior leadership.

• Work closely with Performance Marketing, CRM, Design, Product, and Finance to support planning, forecasting, and quarterly growth initiatives.
• Help establish a strong, insight-driven decision culture within the Growth organization.

• Contribute to defining best practices for marketing data pipelines, documentation, and analytical standards in a growing, evolving data setup.
• Identify gaps in tooling, processes, and data quality, and proactively propose pragmatic solutions.

WHO YOU ARE

• 7+ years of experience in marketing or growth analytics for consumer apps or digital products, ideally subscription-based.
• Deep hands-on expertise in marketing measurement, including attribution models, incrementality, MMM concepts, cohort-based LTV analysis, and experimentation.
• Strong understanding of app and web tracking, including limitations, discrepancies, and common pitfalls.
• Advanced SQL skills and extensive experience working with marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, etc.) and BI tools (e.g. Looker, GA4, Tableau).
• Experience with MMPs such as Adjust or AppsFlyer.
• Experience working with CRM data and tools (e.g. Braze), including lifecycle and retention analysis.
• Strong statistical intuition and data storytelling skills. You make complexity understandable and useful.
• Comfortable operating autonomously, setting structure where little exists, and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Business-minded and outcome-oriented. You care about impact, not vanity metrics.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in mobile subscription or freemium app environments.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar analytical environments.
• Experience working with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Exposure to building analytics foundations or scaling marketing analytics in fast-growing organizations.
