Job Summary 🧾

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join Yalo and play a key role in connecting customer needs with our AI-powered conversational sales solutions. This person will partner closely with Sales, Product, Delivery, and Engineering teams to support the full pre-sales journey — from discovery and solution design to demos, technical validation, and proposal support.

The ideal candidate combines strong communication and consultative skills with a solid understanding of enterprise technology environments. They do not need to be deeply hands-on from an engineering perspective, but they should feel comfortable discussing integrations, authentication, middleware, APIs, and high-level solution design with customers and internal stakeholders.

Your mission is to bring technical clarity, solution confidence, and business value to complex sales opportunities. This role is critical to helping customers understand how Yalo’s platform and intelligent agents can solve real business challenges, while ensuring proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with customer goals.

What are the responsibilities for this role? 🧠

• Lead technical and business discovery sessions with prospects and customers to understand goals, pain points, processes, and success criteria.
• Translate customer requirements into clear solution recommendations, including high-level architecture, integration approach, and functional mapping.
• Deliver tailored demos, workshops, and proof-of-concepts that showcase Yalo’s capabilities and demonstrate business value.
• Partner with Account Executives and other go-to-market stakeholders to advance strategic opportunities and strengthen technical credibility throughout the sales cycle.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and partners to validate feasibility and define realistic implementation approaches.
• Support the creation of proposals, statements of work, RFP/RFI responses, and other technical sales documentation.
• Identify risks, dependencies, assumptions, and scope considerations early to improve sales quality and reduce post-sale rework.
• Act as a feedback loop between customers and internal teams, sharing recurring needs, product gaps, and market insights.
• Contribute to building repeatable assets such as demo flows, solution patterns, technical collateral, and best practices for the sales process.

Job Requirements? 💻

• Experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, Solutions Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Experience supporting enterprise or mid-market sales cycles with consultative and solution-oriented engagement.
• Good understanding of APIs, integrations, authentication methods, middleware, and high-level system architecture.
• Familiarity with SaaS environments and solution design for enterprise customers.
• Knowledge of conversational AI, automation, intelligent agents, or customer engagement technologies is strongly preferred.
• Ability to translate business needs into structured solution recommendations and technical documentation.
• Experience delivering demos, workshops, or proof-of-concepts in a customer-facing setting.
• Strong communication skills in both business and technical conversations.
• Ability to collaborate across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams in a fast-paced environment.
• English proficiency required; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

Your Mission

Turn Yalo’s partnerships into a self-sustaining, revenue-generating growth engine by sourcing, integrating, and scaling high-impact strategic alliances.

You will work directly with our Head of Partnerships to identify new partner opportunities, build technical integrations, and create repeatable partner programs that expand distribution and generate revenue.

This is a hands-on role where business development meets technical execution.

What will you be doing?🧠

• Build and scale strategic partnerships
• Identify, qualify, and close partnerships with platforms, marketplaces, and distribution channels that expand Yalo’s reach.
• Deliver working technical integrations
• Work with APIs, integrations, and partner platforms to launch real technical connections between Yalo and partner ecosystems.
• Run product demos and partner enablement
• Lead technical demos with partners, create onboarding materials, and enable partners to activate and sell Yalo independently.
• Drive revenue through partnerships
• Build partner pipelines, structure commercial models, and track the revenue generated through partner channels.
• Build systems that scale
• Create playbooks, automation, dashboards, and enablement tools so the partnerships function can grow efficiently over time.

What are we looking for?💻

• 4 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or growth roles with technical exposure
• Hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.)
• Comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, and integration tools (Zapier, Postman, or similar)
• Experience delivering product demos to external partners or clients
• Proven ability to move partnerships from agreement → integration → revenue
• Strong analytical and commercial thinking
• Experience in SaaS, AI, marketplaces, or platform businesses is a strong plus
• Based in Mexico City or willing to relocate
