What you’ll be doing
As Account Management Team Lead, you will lead and develop the account management team while owning overall country performance and key business metrics. You will be responsible for driving growth, strengthening relationships with our most important restaurant partners, and ensuring your team consistently delivers measurable commercial impact. This role combines leadership, strategic execution, and operational excellence.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Key Account Managers, ensuring high performance and strong ownership of targets
Take full responsibility for country-level performance, including key metrics such as growth, retention, and partner success
Drive revenue and business growth by supporting your team in closing and negotiating strategic partnerships with key restaurant partners
Guide your team in building strong, long-term relationships with partners to identify opportunities for account expansion
Monitor and improve the performance of existing venues through data analysis, regular reviews, and quality checks
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to plan and execute impactful partner campaigns
Continuously analyze the local market and identify growth opportunities and risks
Track competitor activities and translate insights into actionable strategies
Establish and optimize account management processes and best practices
Define team KPIs, track progress, and provide regular feedback and performance coaching
Foster a positive, high-performing team culture aligned with company values and behaviors
Set KPIs for the local Restaurant Key Accounts team and provide regular performance feedback
Create a positive work environment that enables the team to thrive and grow
Lead by example by demonstrating Wolt values and behaviors
Our humble expectations
Solid experience in a key account management role
Proven people leadership as a team lead or supervisor. You set goals, coach performance and hold the team accountable for results.
Strong negotiator who can guide complex deals and elevate deal quality across the team.
Analytical and structured. Comfortable using dashboards and spreadsheets to steer priorities and decisions.
Excellent relationship builder who collaborates across Marketing, Operations and Support to deliver outcomes.
Fluent in local language and English

What you’ll be doing
As we are growing rapidly, we're looking for a Key Account Manager to provide world-class account management and support to a portfolio of our key restaurant partners. This will be a mix of independent strategically important eateries and larger chains, so there’ll be a variety of queries to answer and problems to solve as well as deals to negotiate and close!
You’ll work closely with your partners to improve their performance, introduce relevant products, and support them in their day-to-day operations. This is a role that combines commercial thinking, data-driven decisions, and direct collaboration with partners.
Day-to-day in this role you’ll:
We’re looking for someone who knows how to build great partnerships and drive real growth. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Close deals with key restaurant partners—structuring, negotiating and onboarding with care.
Drive adoption of Wolt products and services.
Grow relationships with existing partners by understanding their needs and helping them thrive.
Boost performance with regular check-ins, data insights, and quality reviews.
Own the partner journey after onboarding, acting as the main point of contact.
Collaborate cross-functionally—especially with ops, marketing, and sales—to plan campaigns, solve challenges, and build business cases that create value for partners.
Analyze the market and keep an eye on competitors to stay ahead.
Use data smartly to focus your energy where it makes the most impact.
Share partner feedback to help improve how we work and what we offer.
Our humble expectations
Solid experience in account management or sales, ideally with key accounts or complex portfolios.
Strategic commercial thinking with advanced analytical skills. Confident using BI tools such as Looker and Excel to guide negotiations, campaigns and optimisations.
Proven ownership mindset. You move complex, ambiguous work forward with minimal guidance and keep stakeholders aligned.
Strong stakeholder management across multiple organisational layers.
Comfortable improving processes, building lightweight tools and sharing best practices.
Fluent in Maltese and English, both written and spoken.
