Wargaming Belgrade is looking for an Art Manager who operates at the intersection of art, production, and organizational leadership, ensuring that visual development for World of Warships is fast, consistent, and sustainable.
This role supports a live product while driving new visual features, aligning teams, improving production pipelines, and building a strong, scalable art organization. It combines hands-on production oversight with strategic thinking, contributing both to day-to-day execution and the long-term development of teams and pipelines.
Head of Development Services
This role focuses on two key areas:
Team Leadership and Delivery
Lead, mentor, and develop artists, discipline leads, and production managers, including performance and career growth
Contribute to department strategy, organizational structure, and long-term capability planning
Oversee art production pipelines, set quality standards, and ensure predictable, timely delivery across features, LiveOps, and R&D
Guide backlog planning, prioritization, and execution in collaboration with discipline leads and cross-functional stakeholders
Ensure clear ownership, accountability, and effective collaboration across teams
Strategy and Operations
Drive alignment between the Visual Department and with Game Design, LiveOps, Engineering, Production, and other departments on priorities, timelines, and deliverables
Establish and improve visual team's processes, communication flows, and collaboration models• Shape and support the technical direction of art pipelines, tools, and workflows in collaboration with engineering, including integration of R&D outcomes into production
Define and oversee vendor and outsourcing strategy, ensuring quality and efficiency
Support standardization of tools, documentation, and best practices across the department
Support financial planning, resource allocation, and scaling of the team
5+ years of leadership experience in GameDev (e.g., Lead Artist, Art Manager, or Art Director)
Experience leading teams of 10 or more people
Confirmed experience contributing to commercial game titles in roles such as Tech artist, 3D artist, or Level Artist.
Deep knowledge of art pipelines across disciplines (3D, Environment, Rendering, VFX, UI)
Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal, or proprietary engines) and industry-standard tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, Photoshop)
Experience managing complex production environments, including backlog prioritization and live service delivery
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on problem solving
Intermediate English (B2) or higher
Experience working on an AAA project
Experience working on a PvP project

The World of Warships team is looking for a talented 2D Artist to join our Belgrade office.
In this role, you will be equally involved in creating new features and supporting existing ones. Your responsibilities will include developing art concepts for features and content, creating illustrations (digital graphics and painting), working with vector graphics, producing digital miniatures (both skeuomorphic and flat styles), and designing UI elements and navigation.
We often use 3D as a foundation for our work (non-game models), so prior experience with this approach would be a strong advantage. However, we are also open to candidates who are willing and able to quickly learn and adopt this workflow.
The ideal candidate feels confident handling both routine production tasks and more complex, creative challenges that require strong artistic vision and problem-solving skills.
UI Art Lead
Conceptualize the visual direction of game features and content
Create accent UI elements such as banners, icons, medals, flags, patches, and other in-game visual assets
Develop illustrations, background images, and key visuals used in the game
Produce simplified thumbnails from complex artworks, adapting details for clarity and readability
Design and assemble unique feature screens, working on layout, visual hierarchy, and overall appearance
Prepare, optimize, and implement 2D assets in the game client and engine
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including feature designers, historical consultants, and 3D artists
Design and prototype interactions and relationships between interface elements, with a strong focus on UX design, usability, and clarity of user flows
Create and render mid-poly 3D objects for concept development based on real-world references and prototypes
2+ years of experience in a similar role
Experience working with icons and UI elements (Adobe Illustrator)
Ability to create full-fledged 2D illustrations in a given style (Adobe Photoshop)
Ability to set up scenes for rendering, including lighting and environment
Intermediate English (B2) or higher
3D modeling (Blender preferred) and texturing skills (Adobe Substance 3D Painter)
Knowledge of sculpting (ZBrush preferred) and the ability to accurately translate concepts into 3D

Team Lead
Analyze the state of balance in the game and its adjustment.
Support all features that influence the effectiveness of ships and the battle in general.
Create ship gameplay concepts, set and release after testing.
Create analytical reports and analyze key indexes.
Work with the documentation.
Interaction and collaboration with other departments.
Initial setup of game entities (ships, armaments, buildings, etc.).
Creating technical documentation and keeping it up to date.
Reading drawings, drafting technical specifications, and entering information.
English – B2 or higher.
Excellent knowledge of WoWS mechanics and how they work.
Understanding of statistics and statistical calculations.
Experience working with Excel (Google sheets) and creating different calculators.
Good knowledge of mathematics and a basic understanding of probability theory.
Good communicational skills, ability to clearly and positively express thoughts, and attention to detail.
1+ year experience in a similar role
Experienced WoWS player with a high win rate: 55%+ and 1.5k PVP battles on X+ tiers ships or 3k PVP battles.
Basic understanding of programming and database operations.
Knowledge and ability to read Python or C++ code will be an advantage.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in technical disciplines, with experience in software development
Ability to read and understand drawings.
