ABOUT VEG
In 2014, VEG was born with a mission to help people and their pets when they need it most by challenging norms and fixing the ER experience. Since then, we’ve expanded rapidly, with hospitals nationwide open 24/7/365, and created an ER experience that focuses on what our pets and pet parents really need. We’ve done the same for our people (VEGgies), finding a way to say YES so they are empowered to achieve great things, grow in unexpected ways, and find a place where they truly belong.
We’re rethinking emergency care from every angle—from how we run our hospitals to how we support the people working inside them. That’s where our headquarters team comes in. Whether building technology to make our hospitals more efficient, recruiting and growing incredible VEGgies, or bringing our brand to life through marketing, our VQ (VEG Headquarters) team makes it all possible—ensuring our hospitals and people have everything they need to help pets and their families.
VEG is a 2025 and 2026 certified Great Place to Work®.

THE JOB
At VQ, we’re building Talent Development systems that can scale across more VEGgies, more programs, and more moments in the employee lifecycle, without losing rigor, quality, or trust. That requires more than great programs; it requires clear objectives, disciplined measurement, and feedback loops that actually lead to action, especially during periods of transformation.
We’re hiring a Manager, Talent Development Insights & Performance to build and run the Insights & Performance operating system for Talent Development. This role sits at the intersection of data, judgment, and enablement, defining how we measure effectiveness, how we reflect on outcomes, and how insights translate into improvement.
You’ll roll up your sleeves to design and run the systems that make performance visible and usable over time: dashboards, reporting, survey structures, governance, and reflection cadences. In parallel, you’ll help enable the adoption of new operating models and systems by ensuring they are measurable, tracked, and iterated on, ensuring that change doesn’t just launch, but sticks.
This role is about building durable systems, creating clarity in messy environments, and enabling others to make better decisions — consistently, credibly, and at scale.

THE JOB
We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer who understands that at VEG, "reliability" is a medical necessity – if our proprietary platform, DogByte, goes down, a pet's life could be at risk. You will be the primary lead for our platform's resilience, transforming our infrastructure into a self-healing system that empowers our medical teams to provide 24/7/365 life-saving care. You will spend your time bridging the gap between high-level architectural strategy and hands-on technical "surgery," ensuring our engineering teams can build at pace while the foundation remains rock-solid.
You will evolve and strengthen an existing system that must meet the demands of VEG’s hospital expansion – ensuring our infrastructure never limits our ability to open new hospitals or provide medical care. You will own the ongoing stability of DogByte, scaling it from its current state into a robust enterprise platform where one hospital's traffic is isolated and does not impact another's experience.
This job has an opportunity to work at our VQ in White Plains or could be open to remote work.

THE JOB
The IAM Engineer is part of the IT Infrastructure team and is responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling VEG’s SaaS ecosystem, including Okta, Google Workspace, O365, Workday, ChatGPT, Workvivo, and other integrated platforms. This role focuses on automating and streamlining identity processes to ensure secure access and a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience.
We are seeking a proactive, collaborative IAM Engineer who can balance thoughtful system design with strong day-to-day execution. Ideal candidates are strong problem-solvers with excellent communication skills, deep expertise in Okta and Okta Workflows, solid knowledge of Google Workspace and the broader SaaS landscape, and expertise in Windows PC management (Entra, Intune & NinjaOne). We value clear, well documented solutions, particularly integrations and automations supported by comprehensive testing.
This role is best suited for self-starters who take ownership of their work and thrive in a team-oriented environment. Successful candidates enjoy tackling complex challenges, favor simple and logical solutions, actively participate in team discussions, and take pride in delivering understandable, thoroughly tested systems. This position is not intended for those who prefer to work in isolation, rely heavily on AI or vendor support, or require constant oversight.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
In this role, you will help manage and optimize VEG’s identity infrastructure, with a primary focus on Okta, Google Workspace, O365 and their many integrations. You will implement and refine access policies, strengthen authentication and compliance controls, and lead automation efforts that improve both security and the employee experience.
You will support a broad ecosystem of SaaS applications critical to VEG operations, including Workday, Greenhouse, Cornerstone LMS, Zoom, Workvivo, Coupa, ChatGPT, and many others. This requires a strong understanding of identity, access, and data flows across systems, as well as the ability to design and maintain secure, reliable integrations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and ensure platforms remain integrated, compliant, and scalable. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, value efficiency, and take satisfaction in well-designed systems working together seamlessly.
WHAT YOU NEED
We hire the best of the best. It is essential that you have expert-level knowledge of Okta and REST API’s.

Our hospitals thrive on in-person collaboration, and VQ is no different. Time in the office sparks stronger connections, meaningful conversations, and better results—all bringing our core values to life. We prioritize being present because our values are best achieved side by side. Plus, we make getting here easy with free parking and a shuttle from the White Plains Metro-North station.
DEI
At VEG, diversity is a strength that fuels innovation and compassion. Our mission is “Helping people and their pets when they need it most”—and we do that best when VEGgies feel valued, respected, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. We’re committed to building a culture that reflects the communities we serve, where different perspectives are celebrated, voices are heard, and everyone has equitable opportunities to grow. Saying yes to VEG means helping us become the world’s veterinary emergency company, together.
