Summary: 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for daily general accounting responsibilities including, but not limited to journal entries, financial reporting, account reconciliations and audit support. This position will require an individual who is well organized and analytical.

Job Functions:

• Plan and execute to meet monthly deadlines for month-end closing of financial statements.
• Prepare and record journal entries and account reconciliations for multiple accounts and multiple entities by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Prepare and provide analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Identify and review variances in account reconciliations. Work with peers and other departments to resolve and escalate to Accounting Manager as necessary; offer ideas for resolution to correct exceptions and prevent recurrence of issues going forward.
• Assist in the preparation of annual audited financial statements.
• Work closely with the accounting team and other departments throughout the organization.
• Document policies, procedures, and workflow for assigned area of responsibility.
• Collaborate on ad-hoc or recurring project teams to prepare various analysis for enhancement of the business.
• Prepare and provide analysis for leases and owner payments. Identify and propose solutions to increase effectiveness of processes and procedures.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required - CPA candidate preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience required, preferably in a related industry such as real estate, leasing, or telecommunications.
• Position requires the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.
• Working knowledge of accounting practices, procedures and regulations governing accounting practices
• Experience working with NetSuite or similar accounting system preferred.
• Highly competent user of Excel and proficient with other MS Office suite products
• Experience with lease accounting is a plus.

Summary: 

The Collections Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, researching and daily/weekly AR reporting to support the Accounts Receivable team. The analyst will regularly be in contact with both multi-national and smaller telecommunication companies.

Job Functions: 

• Develop and improve reporting to support A/R team and A/R Manager – including aging analysis and any additional reports to improve efficiency and streamlining of processes within A/R
• Review and research a high volume of transactions, identifying root causes of discrepancies, recognize resolutions and document issues and report to management
• Provide customer service regarding collection issues; work closely with Cash and Abstraction teams to resolve client discrepancies and review short payments
• Identify, review, and prepare account adjustments as needed
• Coordinate with customers and internal employees in the pursuit and resolution of collection matters including legal collections and troubled status
• Coordinate with Billing, Abstraction and Collection teams to assist with all new acquisitions (sending welcome letters, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with Cash Application team to reduce unapplied cash and research various short and over payments
• Build relationships with other members of the A/R Department and provide support to billing, collections and cash application functions as needed
• Assist with the maintenance and testing of internal controls, accounting policies and audit requests as it relates to the accounts receivable function
• Identify and propose solutions to increase the effectiveness of processes and procedures
• Work closely with IT to translate business requirements into reporting deliverables
• Other projects and duties as assigned to support the A/R department continuous improvement efforts

• Minimum 3 - 5 years of Accounts Receivable collection experience required
• Prior experience in reading and comprehending real estate leases preferred
• Required to have strong detailed analytical skills
• Required to have advanced Excel skills such as pivot tables and v-lookups
• Prior experience working with NetSuite or similar accounting system preferred
• Prior experience initiating and implementing process improvements Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively and to work with internal and external customers

Summary

The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for executing all accounting activities related to the company’s accounts payable function. This role includes, but is not limited to, coding and entering vendor invoices, managing landlord transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Essential Job Functions

• Review, verify, and accurately code vendor invoices using CoreIntegrator (electronic imaging tool) in accordance with company financial policies and procedures
• Process landlord and vendor payments timely and accurately
• Set up new vendors in compliance with IRS 1099 reporting requirements and assist with year-end 1099 preparation
• Communicate with vendors via phone and email to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries
• Partner with internal departments to research, process, and correct vendor records or accounts payable issues
• Assist with accounts payable projects, audits, and process improvements as assigned

• Assume fixed asset process which includes preparing schedules, capitalize fixed assets into the subledger, depreciation, and reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries for multiple accounts/entities
• Assist with monthly account analysis and reconciliation of select general ledger accounts for multiple legal entities
• Identify and review variances and exceptions. Work with peers and other departments to resolve and escalate to Manager as necessary; offer ideas for resolution to correct exceptions and prevent recurrence of issues going forward
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements
• Prepare year-end audit support and assist with inquiries as needed
