What You'll Do

• Sell into Verkada’s largest, most strategic accounts (F500) 
• Consistently source and close net-new business
• Build an intimate understanding of Verkada's products and their place in the industry
• Own the full sales cycle, from source to close
• Maintain an accurate pipeline with expert-level forecasting 
• Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to customers and channel partners
• Provide market/client feedback to Verkada’s product/engineering team
• This role requires regular travel, estimated to be more than 50% of the time, including both domestic and international destinations as needed. The successful candidate must be comfortable with frequent travel to support business operations, customer and partner engagements and team collaboration. 

What You Bring

• 6-10+ years of sales experience exceeding quota consistently
• Experience selling into F500 accounts
• A proven track record of successfully selling enterprise B2B solutions in the technology space
• A history of breaking into and developing greenfield territories in a enterprise/major accounts role
• Hunter mentality with solid sales DNA
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Bachelors degree strongly preferred

What You'll Do

• Lead as a Player-Coach and motivate direct reports establishing the highest standard for high-velocity execution through rigorous pipeline management, intensive outbound strategies, timely forecasting and closed deals to ensure individual and team quotas.
• Work cross-functionally to align prioritization & resources amongst, sales, product, marketing, engineering, and operations.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, pivot as needed and adapt quickly to change, as well as be an influencing factor to the team.
• Strategic problem solving, project management, proactively addressing problems and surfacing scalable solutions.
• Hire, develop, and lead a world-class team to support revenue targets for the company.

What You Bring

• Minimum 3+ years of direct sales management experience leading AE teams at a hyper-growth SaaS B2B, Infrastructure company or Tech company 
• Team-player mentality, hard-working, and the ability to be authoritative when necessary.
• Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
• Experience developing strong internal and external business relationships across departments.
• Proven track record of reaching and exceeding goals as an individual contributor.
• Demonstrate initiative in helping others achieve their goals.  
• Knowledge of the full Sales cycle, with demonstrated ability to prospect, qualify, and close deals. 
• Salesforce experience a plus 
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Must be willing and able to work onsite.

• Build an intimate understanding of Verkada products and their place in the industry
• Manage the full sales cycle: Prospect for new customers, host online demos, create proposals, and close deals
• Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting 
• Aggressively exceed goals consisting of outbound phone calls, emails, online demos, and trials every quarter
• Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to customers and channel partners
• Work closely with Customer Success to ensure smooth launches and fuel future product growth
• Provide market/client feedback to Verkada’s product/engineering team
• Dedicate at least 50% of your time to field-based sales activities away from the workplace, including customer meetings, site visits, and relationship-building.

What You Bring

• 5-10+ years of quota exceeding experience
• Sales experience working for a technology vendor selling Enterprise B2B solutions
• A track record of developing a greenfield territory, adding net new logos in an Enterprise software role
• Hunter mentality with solid Sales DNA
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• BS/BA degree strongly preferred
