POSITION SUMMARY
Veritas Veterinary Partners seeks a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support the cleanliness, safety and operational readiness of a Partner Hospital. The Housekeeper plays a foundational role in maintaining a clean, sanitary and welcoming environment for patients, clients and hospital team members throughout every area of the facility. In a veterinary hospital, housekeeping is not simply a matter of appearance. A consistently clean and properly disinfected facility is essential to infection control, patient safety and the wellbeing of the animals and people in our care. This role works in close coordination with clinical, facilities and operations teams to ensure all hospital areas meet the high standards Veritas Veterinary Partners holds across its network.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleaning and Sanitation
- Clean and disinfect patient care areas including exam rooms, treatment areas, wards and surgical prep spaces according to infection control protocols and the cleaning schedule.
- Clean and sanitize client-facing areas including lobbies, waiting rooms, consultation rooms and restrooms throughout the shift.
- Clean and maintain staff break rooms, locker areas, offices, corridors and stairwells on a scheduled basis.
- Vacuum, mop and maintain all floor surfaces throughout the facility using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment for each surface type.
- Clean and maintain laundry and utility areas as directed, ensuring cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
Supplies and Equipment
- Monitor housekeeping supply inventory and communicate restocking needs to the Facilities Coordinator or Hospital Manager in advance of shortages.
- Dilute, handle, store and label cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with manufacturer instructions and hospital safety guidelines.
- Use, maintain and store housekeeping equipment including vacuums, floor machines and cleaning carts in good working order, reporting malfunctions promptly.
- Follow safe handling practices for cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment; formal OSHA certification is not required but a genuine commitment to safety is expected and supported.
Team Collaboration
- Coordinate daily cleaning priorities and schedules with the Facilities Coordinator, Hospital Manager and clinical team leads to support hospital workflow and minimize disruption to patient care.
- Respond promptly and cooperatively to urgent cleaning requests from any department, understanding that immediate response in a clinical environment directly affects patient safety.
- Communicate any facility maintenance concerns, safety hazards or unusual conditions observed during cleaning to the appropriate facilities or hospital leadership contact.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Demonstrated reliability and dependability with a consistent record of showing up on time and completing assigned work to a high standard.
- Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift including standing, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds and pushing or pulling cleaning equipment.
- Willingness to work in a clinical environment that may include exposure to animal waste, biological materials, cleaning chemicals and clinical noise.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and ask questions when unsure.
- A genuine commitment to cleanliness and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Preferred
- Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial services or environmental services in a healthcare, veterinary or commercial setting.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols, clinical cleaning standards or disinfection procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is onsite full-time at a Partner Hospital. The role requires continuous physical activity throughout the shift including standing, bending, mopping, vacuuming and handling cleaning equipment in all areas of the facility. Exposure to cleaning chemicals, animal-related waste, biological materials, medical equipment and clinical noise is inherent to this role and should be expected. The Housekeeper will work across all hospital areas including active clinical spaces, surgical areas and patient wards. Personal protective equipment is provided. Hours may include evenings, weekends or early mornings based on the hospital cleaning schedule and operational needs.

Position Summary
Veritas Veterinary Partners seeks a warm, professional and highly organized Client Experience Representative to serve as the face of a Partner Hospital. The Client Experience Representative is the first person clients encounter and the last they see before leaving, making this role central to how Veritas Veterinary Partners is perceived and experienced.
This position operates at the front desk and is responsible for delivering exceptional in-person and phone-based client service, managing billing and payment processes and supporting all aspects of the client journey from arrival through departure.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Client Arrival and Check-In
- Greet clients and patients warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming and reassuring first impression in what is often a stressful situation.
- Complete accurate check-in processes including verifying client and patient information, confirming appointment details and notifying clinical teams of patient arrival.
- Manage the reception area and waiting room, communicating wait time updates to clients proactively and with empathy.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, routing calls, taking messages and providing information within scope.
- Maintain an organized and professional front desk environment throughout the shift.
Financial Transactions and Billing
- Present financial estimates clearly and with compassion, ensuring clients understand charges associated with their pet's care.
- Process payments accurately using approved payment methods including credit, debit, CareCredit and payment plans.
- Reconcile end-of-shift transactions and report discrepancies to the supervisor or manager.
- Provide clients with information about payment options and direct complex financial questions to the Financial Liaison or supervisor.
- Maintain accurate client account information within the practice management system.
Discharge and Follow-Up
- Coordinate client discharge by ensuring all paperwork, prescriptions and discharge instructions are complete and clearly communicated.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals as directed by the clinical team.
- Reinforce key discharge instructions with clients in plain accessible language, ensuring they leave with a clear understanding of home care expectations, medication schedules and when to seek follow-up care.
- Send appointment reminders, follow-up communications and client satisfaction outreach as directed.
- Document all client interactions and transactions accurately in ezyVet or other designated systems.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum one year of experience in a client-facing, customer service or reception role in a professional environment.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems, scheduling platforms and point-of-sale or billing software.
- Reliability, punctuality and a consistent professional presence at the front desk.
Preferred
- Experience in a veterinary, human healthcare or similarly client-intensive service environment.
- Familiarity with ezyVet, Impromed, AVImark or similar practice management software.
- Background in hospitality, luxury service or patient-facing healthcare reception.

Work Environment

POSITION SUMMARY
Veritas Veterinary Partners seeks a compassionate and dependable Kennel Attendant to support the daily care and comfort of hospitalized patients at a Partner Hospital. The Kennel Attendant plays a foundational role in the patient care environment by ensuring animals in our care are clean, comfortable, fed, exercised and well-monitored throughout their stay. This is an entry-level position on the patient care team and an excellent starting point for individuals pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. The Kennel Attendant works under the direction and supervision of veterinarians and credentialed veterinary technicians, consistent with AVMA guidelines for animal care support staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ANIMAL CARE AND HUSBANDRY
- Feed, water and exercise hospitalized patients according to individual care plans and dietary instructions as directed by the clinical team.
- Walk and exercise patients as scheduled, monitoring each animal's physical condition and behavior throughout.
- Monitor and report changes in patient behavior, appetite, elimination or physical condition to the supervising technician or veterinarian promptly.
- Provide gentle and humane handling and comfort to hospitalized patients, minimizing stress throughout their stay.
- Maintain accurate records of feeding, elimination, exercise and behavioral observations within the practice management system as directed.
CLEANING AND SANITATION
- Clean, sanitize and maintain kennels, cages, runs and housing areas to hospital standards following each patient's discharge and throughout the day.
- Launder bedding, towels and kennel materials regularly, maintaining a clean and organized inventory of patient care supplies.
- Clean and disinfect exam rooms, treatment areas and common spaces in coordination with clinical and facilities teams as directed.
- Manage biohazard waste, soiled materials and animal waste according to hospital infection control protocols and applicable safety guidelines.
- Report maintenance needs, equipment malfunctions or safety hazards in kennel and care areas to the supervisor promptly.
PATIENT SUPPORT AND TEAM COLLABORATION
- Assist veterinarians and credentialed veterinary technicians with patient restraint and handling during examinations and procedures as directed.
- Transport patients safely between kennel, treatment and examination areas as needed.
- Communicate patient status and care notes to oncoming team members during shift transitions.
- Operate as a reliable and proactive member of the patient care team, responding to requests from technicians and veterinarians with urgency and a positive attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Genuine love and respect for animals with the ability to handle a wide variety of species and temperaments safely and humanely.
- Physical ability to perform hands-on animal care including lifting, restraining and transporting patients of varying sizes.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with digital radiograph (X-ray) acquisition and CT scan procedures
- Properly position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images

- Facilitate team huddles and training sessions to reinforce service standards, communication techniques and empathy-based approaches.
- Identify development opportunities for high-performing team members and create pathways for advancement.
CLIENT EXPERIENCE OPERATIONS
- Oversee all client touchpoints including reception, check-in, discharge, phone communications and follow-up.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex client concerns, resolving issues with empathy, professionalism and urgency.
- Monitor client satisfaction metrics, identify trends and implement actionable improvements in coordination with hospital leadership.
- Develop and maintain service recovery protocols that prioritize client trust and relationship preservation.
- Ensure accurate, timely and compassionate communication throughout the client journey.
COMPLIANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATIONS
- Ensure client-facing workflows comply with hospital policies, HIPAA-equivalent client confidentiality standards and state regulations.
- Oversee accurate client record management, financial transaction processing and front-end billing coordination.
- Maintain staffing schedules that ensure consistent coverage across all operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
- Partner with clinical leadership to ensure client communication reflects accurate, timely medical information.
- Collaborate with the Hospital Director on service initiatives, client experience strategy and team culture goals.
- Build strong working relationships with clinical teams, ensuring client experience is treated as a shared organizational responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in client service leadership.
- Minimum three years of experience in a client-facing leadership role in veterinary medicine, healthcare, hospitality or a similarly high-care service environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing frontline service teams.
- Strong communication, de-escalation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to remain composed and empathetic in emotionally charged and high-volume environments.
PREFERRED
- Experience in specialty or emergency veterinary medicine or human hospital patient services.
- Prior experience in a multi-site, PE-backed or high-growth organization.
- Background in service recovery strategy, client satisfaction measurement or experience program design.
- Familiarity with veterinary practice management software.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is onsite full-time in a fast-paced specialty and emergency veterinary hospital. The role requires extended periods at the reception desk and client interaction areas, the ability to stand and move throughout the facility and composure in emotionally charged and high-volume environments. The Client Experience Manager will regularly interact with clients in crisis, grief or distress and must model calm, empathetic professionalism at all times. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside Board‑Certified Criticalists, Surgeons, Internists, and Emergency Clinicians, supported by a highly skilled, collaborative team of RVTs and veterinary assistants dedicated to outstanding patient care.
This position centers on dedicated ICU and emergency nursing, high‑acuity patient management, and continuous monitoring, while offering opportunities to cross‑train in Internal Medicine and Surgery and further advance your clinical expertise.
Core Responsibilities
- Fulfill all responsibilities of a Registered Veterinary Technician with an emphasis on Emergency and ICU care
- Provide comprehensive, around‑the‑clock nursing care to critically hospitalized and emergency patients
- Perform triage and ICU nursing, supporting unstable and high‑acuity cases
- Monitor, trend, and accurately document vital signs, patient condition, and treatment responses
- Recognize subtle changes in patient status and promptly communicate findings to clinicians
- Deliver advanced nursing care for patients requiring:
- Oxygen therapy (nasal cannula, oxygen cages)
- Blood transfusions
- Continuous rate infusions (CRIs)
- Intensive monitoring and supportive care
- Perform anesthetic monitoring for routine, emergent, high‑risk, and ICU‑level procedures
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across ECC, Surgery, and Internal Medicine
- Obtain and process diagnostic samples, including:
- Venipuncture and arterial blood gases
- Cystocentesis and urinary catheter sampling
- Blood typing, crossmatching, and slide agglutination
- Perform advanced ECC/ICU procedures, including:
- Placement and maintenance of central and PICC lines
- Nasal oxygen cannula placement
- Blood transfusion administration and monitoring
- CRI calculation, setup, and troubleshooting
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical records, ICU flow sheets, and treatment documentation
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients regarding hospitalized patients
- Support a positive, collaborative work environment while upholding AVSG/VSSOC standards of professionalism, empathy, and courtesy
Role Leveling: Mid‑Level vs Senior Emergency & Critical Care RVTs
AVSG/VSSOC recognizes and supports multiple experience levels within the ECC/ICU team. Scope of responsibility, autonomy, leadership expectations, and compensation reflect experience, credentials, and demonstrated clinical excellence.
Mid‑Level Emergency & Critical Care RVT
- Provides high‑quality nursing care to emergency and ICU patients with team support
- Confidently performs core ECC/ICU technical skills and monitoring
- Continues to refine triage, ICU nursing, anesthesia, and advanced procedure skills
- Works closely with senior RVTs and clinicians on complex or unstable cases
- Actively participates in ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development
- ER/ICU experience preferred but not required
Senior / High‑Level Emergency & Critical Care RVT (Including VTS Candidates or VTS‑Credentialed RVTs)
- Independently manages high‑acuity, unstable, and complex ICU/emergency cases
- Serves as a clinical resource and mentor for RVTs and veterinary assistants
- Assists with complex triage decisions, advanced anesthesia support, and ICU workflows
- Supports training, skill development, and team onboarding
- May assist with protocol refinement, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental leadership
Job Requirements
- Active California RVT license or ability to transfer from out of state
- Minimum 2 years experience as an RVT
- ER and/or ICU experience strongly preferred
- Confident managing critical, unstable, and ASA III+ patients
- Strong technical skill set with the ability to multitask in a high‑acuity environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and assist with team lifting for larger patients
- Experience training or mentoring RVTs/VAs is a plus
- VTS credentials welcomed but not required
Compensation
- Mid- Level RVT $25.00 – $32.00 per hour
- Senior Level RVT / VTS $33.00 - $45.00 per hour
- Both pay ranges are dependent upon experience, role level, and credentials

- $4.00/hr – Swing shifts
- $6.00/hr – Overnight shifts
- $8.00/hr – Weekend shifts

Position Summary
- Veritas Veterinary Partners seeks a highly organized and people-centered Hospital Manager to support the operational leadership of a Partner Hospital. The Hospital Manager serves as an operational resource to the Hospital Director, ensuring daily functions run smoothly across departments while supporting team development, compliance and client experience goals. This role is a key connector between frontline teams and senior leadership, translating strategy into day-to-day execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily Operations
- Oversee and coordinate daily operational workflow across departments including client experience, patient care and support services.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact when the Hospital Director is unavailable, making sound decisions to maintain continuity.
- Monitor staffing levels and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage across all departments and shifts.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, escalating to the Hospital Director when appropriate.
- Maintain operational logs, compliance checklists and required documentation to support regulatory and accreditation standards.
Team Leadership and Development
- Support the recruitment, onboarding and orientation of new team members in coordination with the Hospital Director and People and Culture Operations.
- Provide day-to-day coaching and performance feedback to direct reports, fostering accountability and professional growth.
- Partner with department managers and supervisors to address performance concerns, scheduling conflicts and team dynamics.
- Champion team recognition and engagement initiatives that reinforce Veritas values and improve associate satisfaction.
- Assist in conducting performance reviews and documenting associate relations matters according to policy.
Client Experience
- Support a culture of exceptional client service by modeling professional, compassionate communication and resolving escalated concerns.

Financial and Compliance Support
- Assist the Hospital Director with budget monitoring, expense tracking and variance analysis.

- Assist with facilities oversight, vendor coordination and capital project tracking as directed.
- Participate in monthly financial reviews and contribute operational insights to support performance improvement.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional management experience.
- Minimum three years of management experience in a veterinary, human healthcare or high-volume service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-department operations and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing schedules, workflows and operational systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
Preferred
- Experience in specialty or emergency veterinary medicine or human hospital operations.
- Prior experience in a PE-backed or multi-site healthcare organization.
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) or equivalent management credential.

Work Environment
- This position is onsite full-time at a Partner Hospital in a fast-paced specialty and emergency veterinary environment. The role requires frequent movement throughout the facility, extended periods at a computer for administrative tasks, and availability during varying shifts including some evenings and weekends based on operational needs. The Hospital Manager may be exposed to animal handling, medical equipment and clinical noise.
