Sr. Systems Administrator
Summary:
The Senior Systems Administrator for MES is the technical expert responsible for managing the entire IT infrastructure stack that supports 24/7 manufacturing operations—from the physical hardware (Cisco UCS) and virtualization layer (VMware) to core network services (AD) and application delivery (Citrix). Role Overview

- Execute validation activities under GMP change control

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented GMP Equipment Validation Engineer to support Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) activities for a range of manufacturing and utility equipment at a client site. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can work independently, and is confident interfacing directly with client teams.
Our CQV team collaborates closely with the client across multiple facets of controls and automation, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate has experience leading the equipment CQV efforts of a team that also includes computer system validation engineers and specialists.

- 3+ years of Computer System Validation (CSV) experience with process control, SCADA and automation systems, MES and data integration systems (Emerson DeltaV and/or Syncade experience is highly preferred)
- Experience with automation, commissioning, qualification or operations in a cGMP environment.
- Direct experience developing validation protocols and execution of protocols.
- Knowledge of current industry standards such as GAMP5 and ASTM E2500.
- Tactical thinker with experience working with customers developing testing, validation and/or quality strategies.
- Excellent client communication skills.

ACCOUNT MANAGER

As an integral member of our team, you'll excel in navigating complex corporate structures and engaging with decision-makers across matrixed organizations. Your primary focus will be on identifying and seizing opportunities in both CapEx and OpEx spend, effectively closing sales on individual project opportunities.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, acting not only as a player/coach internally but also as a strategic partner to our clients. Your deep understanding of their businesses will facilitate the seamless delivery of projects, systems, and compliance assurance, driving volume, speed, and certainty in our solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the life sciences industry, its current trends, and future directions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in life sciences software, from the shop floor to the ERP layer, alongside Valspec's service offerings and success stories.
- Foster strategic partnerships with key suppliers and evaluate opportunities for collaboration.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends to anticipate shifts in client needs and adapt Valspec's approach accordingly.
- Orchestrate the entire sales process, from lead identification to close, collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of business development experience, preferably in engaging middle and upper-level managers within manufacturing, laboratory, and IT organizations.
- Proven track record of success in sales/business development within the life sciences industry, with expertise in software, equipment, or services solutions.
- Familiarity with resource-based/staff augmentation solutions and capital project offerings preferred.
- Strong facilitation skills and the ability to influence decision-making processes effectively.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills tailored to engage sophisticated clientele.
