About the role:

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the design, structuring, and launch of new investment products across residential real estate credit markets, ensuring alignment with investor objectives and regulatory requirements.

• Partner cross-functionally with Risk, Operations, Legal, and Distribution to ensure seamless product execution and ongoing oversight.
  
  
• Work closely with Mortgage Origination to maintain a robust pipeline of high-quality deals aligned with product and portfolio goals.
  
  
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, curiosity, and innovation.

About you: 

• 8–10+ years of professional experience in financial services, with a strong background in structured credit, investment management, or fixed income markets.
  
  
• Hands-on experience as a Portfolio Manager, Trader, or Investment Product Lead with exposure to ABS, RMBS, or CMBS.
  
  
• Proven ability to design, structure, and launch institutional or retail investment products.
  
  
• Deep understanding of securitization mechanics, credit modeling, and asset-level analytics.
  
  
• Strong technical acumen with experience in risk systems, analytics platforms, or technology-enabled investment workflows.
  
  
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex market concepts for internal and external audiences.
  
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field required; MBA or CFA preferred.

Unison is seeking a Data Scientist to power the next generation of our home equity sharing platform. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and investments, driving the analytical insights and machine learning capabilities that enable us to scale efficiently and profitably.

You will translate complex data into actionable intelligence, build and deploy predictive models, and partner cross-functionally to shape product strategy and portfolio performance. Responsibilities: 

Product Analytics and Insights

• Develop a deep understanding of Unison’s equity sharing products and customer journey
• Define, track, and forecast key product and funnel metrics across acquisition, conversion, and retention
• Partner closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to translate business questions into scalable data science solutions
• Deliver clear, actionable insights that inform product decisions and growth strategy
  
  

Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling

• Design, train, validate, and maintain machine learning models using data such as property attributes, customer characteristics, macroeconomic indicators, and conversion data
• Enhance model performance through feature engineering, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and ongoing monitoring
• Productionize models to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance in live environments
  Establish best practices for model governance, documentation, and lifecycle management
  
  

Quantitative Research and Portfolio Analytics

• Build cash flow models that incorporate home price dynamics, turnover assumptions, and product terms
• Forecast prepayment behavior, default rates, home price appreciation, and portfolio returns
• Identify data-driven insights that improve the portfolio’s risk-return profile
• Support strategic initiatives through rigorous quantitative analysis
  
  

Data Engineering and Infrastructure

• Build and maintain scalable applications and workflows on AWS
• Design and support data pipelines and infrastructure to enable analytics and machine learning at scale
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code aligned with best practices

About you: 

• Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline
• Two or more years of experience in data science, quantitative finance, data engineering, or software engineering
• Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in SQL
• Experience with or willingness to learn distributed data tools such as Hadoop and Spark, as well as AWS cloud services
• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying machine learning models
• Passion for integrating AI-driven solutions into business workflows

Unison is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to own and evolve the core platform that powers our proprietary origination and servicing systems. This is a highly visible, high-impact role at the center of Unison’s technology ecosystem, responsible for defining and executing the product strategy for shared services, internal APIs, and critical third-party integrations.

As a senior leader within Product, you will operate at the intersection of engineering, business operations, compliance, and customer experience. About you: 

• 6–9+ years of product management experience, including significant experience as a Technical Product Manager owning platform, infrastructure, or internal-facing products.
  
  
• Strong preference for experience within financial services, fintech, mortgage, real estate, or other regulated industries.
  
  
• Proven ability to own complex, cross-functional products end to end, from discovery and strategy through delivery, launch, and iteration.
  
  
• Deep technical fluency with modern software architectures, including APIs, microservices, cloud-native infrastructure, data pipelines, and system integrations.
  
  
• Demonstrated success translating ambiguous business and operational needs into clear, prioritized technical backlogs.
  
  
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority and align diverse teams around a shared vision.
  
  
• Comfort operating in a highly regulated environment, with a working understanding of compliance, data security, and privacy considerations.
  
  
• Experience working closely with engineering teams using Agile and Lean methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models).
  
  
• Familiarity with CRM and workflow platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and enterprise integration patterns is a plus.
  
  
• Experience optimizing internal developer experience (DX) or platform usability for internal consumers is a strong plus.

Unison is seeking an independent, self-motivated experienced Salesforce Developer who has a proven capability to design, build and support business systems solutions in Finance, Banking or Mortgage Industries. This position will work with multiple stakeholders to define and deliver efficient, innovative and engaging Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an Agile, Scrum team collaborative culture, and projects a professional solution based approach to business and technical change requests and triage production issues.

This is a hybrid position with the requirement of 3 full days (Tues-Thurs) in our Omaha, NE or San Francisco, CA office.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, implement and deploy Salesforce based cloud application solutions to internal business teams within Unison
• Provide technical design, integration architecture, and solution recommendations
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Salesforce applications, integrations, and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Admins, Product Owners, Business, QA, and Leadership) to translate business needs into valued positive user experiences.
• Responsible for design, code review, and release management
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, specifically using Gearset or Jenkins
