What You'll Do

As a Team Lead at Unframe, you’ll play a key role in building and scaling our AI-powered products while leading and growing a team of engineers. You’ll be responsible not only for technical execution, but also for hiring, mentoring, and shaping a high-performing team. We work on-site from our Tel Aviv office, collaborating closely across engineering, product, and AI to move fast and build with purpose.
This is a hands-on leadership role - you’ll guide architecture and execution while actively building your team and ensuring technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
• Take an active role in hiring and scaling the team, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
• Drive the design and implementation of core product features across backend and frontend
• Own end-to-end delivery of features, from ideation to production
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, AI, and Solutions teams
• Define and enforce best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and system architecture

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role
• Proven experience leading and growing engineering teams
• Experience working on complex, production-grade systems
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Node.js, Vue\React and PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to design scalable systems and deliver high-quality products

About The Role:

You’ll work on the frontend foundation of our entire AI platform: reusable components, dynamic interfaces, and shared tooling that power real customer‑facing solutions. This includes tackling frontend challenges that go beyond UI polish, such as building schema‑driven interfaces, enabling multi‑product configurations, and integrating real‑time AI feedback into the user experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect, build, and own scalable frontend systems: reusable components, patterns, and UI frameworks
• Lead UI development for cross‑platform features like dashboards, user management, and multi‑step workflows
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ship polished, high‑impact features
• Advocate for frontend best practices, performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and developer experience

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, machine learning, or research roles (including relevant academic experience).
• Experience building and delivering production solutions to customers using Python, TypeScript, or similar.
• Experience building pipelines for structured and unstructured data, including work with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)-like architectures.
• Experience with prompt design, evaluation, and iteration workflows.
• Ability to rapidly understand complex domains and read and implement research papers.
• Comfortable working with real-time applications and production systems.

Nice to Have

• Master’s degree or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience implementing multi-agent systems using frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI, Google ADK) and patterns such as ReAct, self-reflection, and hierarchical delegation.
