WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in the efficient operation of warehouse activities, including receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This position ensures product accuracy, inventory integrity, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products.
• Receive materials using a forklift or manual guidance.
• Pick, pack, label, and tag inventory for shipment.
• Stack and secure materials on pallets.
• Move materials to staging areas or load onto transport vehicles.
• Assist with physical inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Follow all operational and safety procedures, including use of required safety equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1–3 years of general warehouse experience; tile/stone industry experience is a plus.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good time management and communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is based in a warehouse setting and involves exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and moderate noise. The role frequently requires the use of forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Safety gear must be worn as required.

WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, with shifts typically starting early in the morning. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required based on business needs.

• Handles incoming, outgoing, and internal calls a professional and friendly manner, directing calls to the appropriate staff or department.
• Provides routine telephone information (e.g., hours of operation, address, directions) and directs non-routine or difficult inquiries to the designated staff member.
• Takes and relays detailed messages or transfers calls to voicemail when the appropriate staff member is unavailable.
• Greets and assists customers and visitors, determines the purpose of their visit, and directs them to the appropriate staff member. Maintains the visitor log and ensures visitors feel welcome.
• Enters and maintains accurate information in internal database systems.
• Tracks incoming mail, packages, and samples, sorting them by location, department, etc.
• Issues labels for outgoing mail, ensures proper preparation of packages.
• Maintains the showroom in an orderly fashion and reports any maintenance issues to appropriate Area Manager.
• Processes express/overnight deliveries, and special delivery service requests, and maintains appropriate receipts. Coordinates and verifies all delivery schedules. Provides clerical support as needed.
• Follows the standard operating procedures for assigned area.
• Handles orders for office supplies and ensures inventory is properly stocked.

• 1–3 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, general office, or customer service role.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Ability to maintain a courteous, professional, and patient demeanor when interacting with visitors, customers, and colleagues both in person and over the phone.
• Proficiency with basic office equipment and the ability to use a personal computer and word processing software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Primarily based in a showroom and office setting, with occasional warehouse area visits.
• May encounter varying conditions such as noise, dust, or temperature changes in warehouse or outdoor environments.
• Regular interactions with internal teams and external clients, including architects, designers, and contractors.
• Standard use of computers, phones, and office equipment is required.
• Occasional participation in meetings.

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer or telephone console.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and operating office equipment.
• Ability to communicate verbally and listen effectively when answering phones and assisting visitors.
• Regular standing and walking to greet visitors, distribute mail, and maintain the showroom area.
• Ability to occasionally lift and move packages, office supplies, or materials up to 20–25 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, or stoop occasionally when organizing supplies, mail, or packages.
• Visual ability to read screens, shipping labels, and written documents.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The A & D Representative maintains and expands relationships with assigned account base customers, with intentions to maximize sales/profit for every account and most importantly to expand CR market penetration within the assigned area.

The A & D Representative represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.

This position will be required to build and sustain productive relationships and partnerships with current customers and prospects to grow sales and to expand CR penetration with Designers, Architects and Builders’ segments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
• Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
• Proactively leads a joint company account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
• Develops a sales action plan to service accounts with high growth potential, collect strategic “intel”, and develop leads from existing account base to better infiltrate designers, architects, and builder’s as potential customers.
• Participates actively with local professional organizations linked with CR's tactics and strategies.
• Creates and executes specific plan to introduce and implement CR products in showrooms, A & D Representative accounts to create demand within the market. Expand Pompeii brand penetration assigning more displays to qualified customers/locations.
• Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
• Meets assigned expectations for profitability.
• Achieves customer objectives defined by company management.
• Completes customer account plans that meet company standards.
• Closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management.
• Works closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution
• Meets quarterly target expectations as far as CR- Display program once posted
• Visits every customer, with displays at least once per month, with mandatory report visits via email to Director of Sales.
• Strategizes, organizes assigned territory/region and plan sales calls weekly.
• Develops an action plan to approach designers, architects and builders, once fabricator leads are found during weekly visits.
• Promotes and executes product knowledge (PKs) at customer’s location and if possible, invite customers to visit one of CR's branches.
• Actively participates and leverages branch events as ways to increase sales.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or proven track record of at least 10 years-experience in sales and marketing is required.
• Prefer knowledge and experience in the building material industry, in some capacity.
• Have the ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of CR's competitors, including their capabilities, past competitive history, and can assist in developing a plan to beat them!
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized with a hunter mentality in the approach to developing and executing strategic plans.
• Must have the skills to discover, create, and develop new opportunities.
• Requires excellent verbal communication and writing skills, but more importantly the desire, ability, and competitiveness to succeed.
• Minimum 50% Travel on a regional basis to cover territory.
