⚡ POST-PRODUCTION BUILDER WANTED
Post-Production Automation Engineer
Build the systems that make our creative team superhuman.
📇 Role: Post-Production Automation Engineer
📍 Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote-Friendly)
💰 Compensation: $120,000–$160,000
👤 Reports to: VP of Post-Production
🚀 About TubeScience
TubeScience is a data-driven creative studio producing performance advertising at massive scale — and we’re growing fast. We’re looking for a Post-Production Automation Engineer to be the most technically sophisticated person on our post team.
💡 The Role
This is a builder role — for someone genuinely excited about where AI and automation are taking Post-Production. You’ll own our automation and AI roadmap from day one, with the autonomy to identify problems and ship solutions without waiting to be asked. You are the product lead, the architect, and the builder — all in one.
🎬 What You’ll Own
🤖 Automation & AI Engineering
Architect end-to-end automation across ingest, QC, editing, delivery, and archival
Deploy LLMs, generative video platforms, and intelligent metadata/tagging systems
Design agent-based workflows that eliminate manual effort
Evaluate emerging AI tooling and own build-vs-buy decisions
🏗️ Systems Architecture & Integration
Own our Iconik MAM: custom actions, metadata schemas, transcoding, and API integrations
Build REST API and webhook integrations across post tools and third-party platforms
Develop automation pipelines in n8n, Make, or Zapier — or go custom in Python/JS
Design for resilience: logging, error handling, alerting, and monitoring
💻 Scripting & Tool Development
Write production-grade Python and JS/Node.js scripts across Adobe Creative Suite
Build internal tools that give editors superpowers without exposing the complexity
Build and maintain Adobe CEP/UXP panels inside the tools editors already use
🔬 R&D & Proactive Improvement
Audit the post pipeline for bottlenecks before the team surfaces them
Prototype emerging tech — AI, ML, new codecs, cloud-native media workflows
Own the Post-Production tooling roadmap with minimal oversight
🤝 Collaboration & Documentation
Translate Post-Production creative needs into precise technical requirements
Align with core engineering on infrastructure, deployment, and architecture
Document every system thoroughly so the team can run it confidently
Serve as final escalation for complex technical issues the post team can’t resolve
🧬 What We’re Looking For
4–6+ years in post-production engineering or workflow automation — high-volume advertising or broadcast preferred
Strong Python and/or JavaScript/Node.js — clean, production-grade code
Proven REST API integration experience with solid edge-case handling
Expert-level Iconik MAM experience strongly preferred
Hands-on with LLMs, generative AI, and orchestration tools (n8n, Make, Zapier or equivalent)
Deep fluency in codecs, containers, color pipelines, and shared storage (e.g. LucidLink)
Adobe Creative Suite scripting experience — CEP/UXP panel dev a strong plus
Working knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud and cloud-native media workflows
Genuine passion for post-production and excitement about transforming it with technology
➕ Bonus Points
Experience with AI video generation tools (Runway, Veo, Sora) in production
Background in high-volume performance advertising or broadcast
Multi-step agentic pipeline design or large-scale workflow orchestration
Open-source contributions in the media/post-production space
Experience with data pipelines or BI tooling connected to production metadata
✨ Benefits
🩺 Health, Vision & Dental coverage
🧳 Unlimited PTO
💰 401(k) + Matching
💗 Life Insurance
🤒 Paid Sick Days
👶 Paid Parental Leave

⚡ Creative Director, Post Production WANTED
High taste required. High accountability expected.
🗂 Role: Creative Director, Post Production
📍 Location: Los Angeles Arts District (On-site)
💰 Salary: $105K – $140K USD per year + Comprehensive Benefits
🚀 About TubeScience
TubeScience is the fastest-growing maker of performance-driven video content. We partner with some of the world’s most innovative brands to create, test, and scale video ads that combine sharp creative taste with measurable results. Speed matters here; but taste sets the bar.
TubeScience is performance-driven. The consumer is always right—data is just large groups of people telling us what they found valuable. We don’t see taste and performance as tension. Taste and style are good Bayesian priors (informed starting assumptions that get validated or refined as evidence comes in). You’re not here to override what works. You’re here to raise the starting point; so we begin with better hypotheses, learn faster, and make work that earns attention because it deserves it.
💡 The Role
This is a high-ownership creative leadership role where you set the bar for quality, protect it under pressure, and develop leaders who understand both performance and aesthetics. When teams ask, “Is this actually good?” you’re the one they turn to. You’ll partner closely with the VP of Post-Production, sharing ownership of creative vision, systems, and day-to-day standards; leading with conviction while collaborating to make those standards stick.
🖥 What You’ll Do
You’ll define what good looks like. Not as a set of subjective preferences, but as a teachable point of view. Then you’ll build the systems to make it stick: reference libraries, rubrics, training programs, leveling assessments, hiring filters, feedback processes.
You’ll identify where tools, including AI and what we’re building in-house, can create leverage without sacrificing craft. This isn’t a role where you have opinions and other people implement them. You’ll architect the systems yourself and own whether they work.
You’ll also hold the line. Standards only matter if someone enforces them. Some people will rise to meet the bar. Some won’t make it. You’ll need backbone.
This is a building role, not a maintenance role. There’s no playbook. You’re creating a function that doesn’t exist yet. That means you have real authority to shape something from scratch.
📈 What Success Looks Like
Your taste becomes the organization’s taste, not because you’re in every room, but because you’ve built systems that transfer your judgment to others.
Quality becomes consistent. Editors make fewer bad calls. The work gets better and the iterations get faster.
Hiring improves. You’re filtering for instinct, not just speed. The team’s baseline rises.
You’ve built something that outlasts you—training, rubrics, standards that live beyond any single person.
We move fast. Volume is real. You’ll need to know when craft matters and when good enough is good enough. Preciousness won’t survive here. But “fast” and “good” aren’t opposites. Better taste means fewer iterations to find what works. Craft is efficiency.
🧬 Who You Are
👥 You’ve led large teams and acted as the final quality bar
⚙️ You enjoy building systems that support quality at scale
🗣 You can articulate taste clearly and give feedback people respect
👍🏽 You have strong aesthetic judgment and know when something works and when it doesn’t
⌚ You’re comfortable making calls in fast, high-output environments
Requirements:
5+ years in post-production
3+ years in leadership roles
2+ years managing large teams (20+)
✨ Why TubeScience
⏩ Your work goes straight to market — no “client delays”
👀 Direct impact on output, speed, and performance
⭐ High standards, strong opinions, supportive culture
This is a place where quality, speed, and accountability all matter.
✚ Benefits
🩺 Health, Vision & Dental coverage
