YOUR MISSION 

True Anomaly operates across Azure, AWS, their GovCloud variants, on-premises facilities, classified environments, and customer-deployed infrastructure. As Senior Manager of Infrastructure Engineering, you will own the compute platform that ties all of it together: Kubernetes, networking, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and the government-accredited environments that the company deploys into. Your team will grow initially to 6 then further as the company breaks out dedicated subteams for SRE, network engineering, developer productivity, and incident management. The infrastructure you build will serve every program in the company, directly displace subcontractor engagements that currently cost millions per program, and form the foundation of True Anomaly’s accredited compute platform. This role requires someone who can operate across the full breadth of infrastructure disciplines, make sound architectural calls in classified and unclassified environments, and build a team that scales with an aggressive growth trajectory. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Build and lead the Infrastructure Engineering team: initially 3 Senior Engineers (Kubernetes/platform reliability, networking, CI/CD/cloud), growing into dedicated subteams as the organization scales 

• Own the compute platform strategy across commercial, CUI, and classified environments, delivering standardized infrastructure that any program can deploy onto instead of building from scratch 

• Deliver government-accredited compute environments (IL-5, IL-6) using internal engineering capacity, replacing the current model of outsourcing each new accredited environment to subcontractors 

• Drive Kubernetes standardization, multi-tenant cluster design, service mesh, and workload orchestration across the company’s multi-cloud and on-premises footprint 

• Partner closely with the Staff/Principal Platform Engineer and Staff/Principal Network Engineer (who report to the VP) as the senior technical anchors for compute and networking architecture 

• Collaborate with Cybersecurity on hardened infrastructure (STIGs, security scanning, network segmentation) and with AI and Data Engineering on the compute and networking layer their platforms run on 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or systems engineering, with 3+ years leading infrastructure teams across multiple technical disciplines 
• Active U.S. security clearance, such as Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance 

• Deep hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GovCloud variants) at production scale 

• Working knowledge of networking across complex environments: multi-cloud, on-premises, VPNs, firewalls, and network segmentation across classification boundaries 

• Direct experience building or operating DoD accredited environments (IL-4/IL-5 or higher), with familiarity with NIST 800-53, STIGs, RMF, and the ATO process 

• Experience with CI/CD platform design and infrastructure-as-code practices at scale (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) 

• Track record of building and leading engineering teams in high-growth environments where the infrastructure had to scale faster than the headcount 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or national security technology companies where infrastructure spans classification levels 

• Background managing teams that operate across both unclassified and classified environments with mixed clearance requirements 

• Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), GitOps workflows, and developer platform tooling 

• Prior experience at a high-growth company where a single infrastructure team covered multiple disciplines before specializing into subteams 
• Familiarity with platform engineering “paved roads” operating models that balance standardization with engineering team autonomy 

COMPENSATION  

• Base Salary:   Long Beach - $165,000 to $230,000, Denver - $160,000 to $220,000

YOUR MISSION:   

The Senior Personnel Security (PERSEC) Officer is responsible for the strategic oversight and day-to-day execution of True Anomaly’s personnel security program in support of the company’s overall national security mission. This role ensures full compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and applicable government regulations while enabling the business to move quickly and win classified work. The PERSEC Officer partners closely with Industrial Security, Physical Security, IT Security, HR, Legal, and Program Management to ensure cleared personnel are processed efficiently, compliantly, and with a high degree of integrity. 

The Senior PERSEC Officer acts as a technical leader and trusted advisor within the Security and Operations organization. This individual demonstrates ownership of business outcomes, proactively identifies risk before it becomes impact, and drives continuous improvement of personnel security processes. They balance strict regulatory compliance with True Anomaly’s need for speed and innovation, ensuring Security enables mission success rather than impedes it. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Lead and manage the enterprise-wide Personnel Security program, ensuring compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and all applicable DoD and Intelligence Community requirements. 

• Oversee end-to-end clearance processing, including initial investigations, periodic reinvestigations, Continuous Vetting updates, upgrades, SCI nominations, polygraph coordination, as well as briefings and debriefings. 

• Serve as the primary interface with DCSA, DoD, and IC PERSEC representatives for all clearance-related matters. 

• Ensure accurate and timely submissions and management within DISS, NBIS, and other government systems of record. 

• Develop and maintain internal controls, SOPs, and metrics to ensure audit readiness and continuous compliance under the company’s FCL, 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and all applicable DoD and Intelligence Community requirements. 

• Lead adverse information reporting, incident management, and coordination with Insider Threat, Legal, and HR to ensure proper handling and mitigation. 

• Partner with Leadership and Talent Acquisition to forecast clearance demand, reduce processing cycle times, and align personnel security actions with business growth objectives. 

• Provide subject matter expertise to senior leadership regarding clearance strategy, eligibility risk, and program impact to contracts and revenue. 

• Train managers and employees on clearance responsibilities, reporting obligations, and security best practices. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in security management, business, or related field. 

• 7+ years of experience in Industrial Security with significant focus on Personnel Security (PERSEC). 

• Deep working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) requirements, DISS, NBIS, JADE, and related DoD/IC systems. 

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current Tier 5 and must maintain an active Top Secret SCI clearance with SCI eligibility. 

• Domestic travel may be required (25%). 

PREFERRED SKILLS:   

• Experience supporting SCI and/or SAP programs and Intelligence Community customers. 

• Strong background in audit preparation and successful DCSA assessments. 

• Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism. 

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience. 

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills coupled with strong business acumen

• Colorado Base Salary: $145,000–$195,000  

• California Base Salary: $150,000–$205,000

YOUR MISSION 

True Anomaly does not have a central data platform today. Data lives in disconnected systems: PLM, ERP, project management, source control, and documentation tools, with no warehouse, no unified data model, and no programmatic access layer. As Senior Manager of Data Engineering, you will build this capability from scratch: the platform, the pipelines, the team, and the operating model. Your first priority is enabling the AI Platform Engineering team, which depends on a reliable data foundation to deliver on the company’s top strategic priority. Beyond AI, the data platform will serve engineering, programs, manufacturing, and business operations across the company. This is a player-coach role. You will be writing code and making architecture decisions on day one while simultaneously hiring and developing a high-performing team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Build the data engineering function from zero: design the data platform architecture, stand up the initial infrastructure, and start delivering value before the team is fully hired 

• Hire and lead a team of 5 data engineers, recruiting top-tier technical talent who thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments 

• Design and build the company’s data warehouse, unified data model, and pipeline infrastructure, connecting systems like PLM (Teamcenter), ERP (NetSuite), Jira, Git, and Confluence into a single reliable data layer 

• Partner closely with the AI Platform Engineering team to provide the data infrastructure they need as a critical-path dependency for the company’s AI strategy 

• Serve as the technical authority for data architecture decisions during the team’s formative period: technology selection, data modeling patterns, pipeline design, and the foundational choices the rest of the team will build on 

• Work across the company to understand data needs from engineering, programs, manufacturing, and business operations, and translate those into a platform that serves all of them 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data infrastructure, or related fields, with 3+ years building and leading data engineering teams 

• Strong hands-on skills in modern data stack technologies: data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar), ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, or similar) 

• Experience building data platforms from scratch, not just maintaining or extending existing ones 

• Track record of hiring and developing high-performing engineering teams in fast-paced environments 

• Ability to work across the full stack of data engineering: from source system connectivity and pipeline reliability to data modeling and serving layer design 

• Strong communication skills and comfort working with stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions to understand requirements and set priorities 

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments where data spans engineering tools (PLM, MBSE, CAD/CAM) and enterprise systems (ERP, project management) 

• Background working with AI/ML teams as a data platform provider, with an understanding of what those teams need from the data layer 

• Experience connecting complex, heterogeneous source systems with different schemas, update cadences, and access patterns 

• Familiarity with data governance and data quality practices, and experience building organizational trust in data products 

• Prior experience at a company poised for aggressive growth where the data platform had to scale ahead of demand 

• Active U.S. security clearance at any level
