With a focus on customer satisfaction, innovation, and sustainable travel practices, we aim to redefine the way people explore the world.

Role Overview

As the VP of Finance, you will be the primary architect of financial transformation for a premier North American luxury travel host agency. This is a high-visibility, hands-on executive role designed for a leader who thrives at the intersection of operational excellence and commercial strategy.
You will lead our finance division to ensure that as we scale, our processes remain disciplined, our reporting stays surgical, and our insights drive the bottom line.

Key Pillars of Responsibility

1. Strategic Financial Leadership & Integrity
•    Operational Discipline: Design and implement a "gold standard" of internal controls, ensuring all financial activities and reporting are produced with absolute precision.
•    Performance Engineering: Lead the annual budget cycle and drive rigorous monthly performance-versus-budget analysis, providing the executive team with the "why" behind the numbers.
•    Audit & Compliance: Direct the year-end audit process and ensure total adherence to North American regulatory standards and complex FX translation requirements.

2. Commercial Architecture & Revenue Assurance
•    Supplier Contract Expertise: Master the commercial components of travel supplier contracts, specifically focusing on complex commission tiers, overrides, and global incentive structures.
•    Revenue Optimization: Ensure the seamless invoicing, receipt, and reconciliation of compensation from global supplier partners, eliminating revenue leakage.
•    Forecasting: Develop predictive models to track and forecast performance against supplier contracts, ensuring the agency maximizes every incentive opportunity.

3. Systems, Automation & Data Insights
•    Digital Transformation: Actively lead ERP system implementations and ensure seamless interconnectivity between front-end travel booking tools and back-end accounting.
•    Process Innovation: Take a hands-on approach to developing automated workflows that replace manual reconciliations with scalable, tech-driven solutions.
•    KPI Development: Build advanced BI dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) that track customer-centric KPIs and traveler-experience metrics.

Qualifications

  • Education & Designation: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce; Canadian CPA designation is mandatory.
  • Experience: 10–15+ years of progressive leadership, with at least 5 years of direct Travel Industry experience (Agency or Host Agency model preferred); experience with M&A a plus.
  • Technical Edge: Expert-level proficiency in Excel, BI Tools, and direct experience leading a full-scale ERP implementation.
  • Core Competency: Mastery of consolidation accounting, complex intercompany transactions, and FX translations.

Why This Role?

We operate at the pinnacle of the luxury travel industry. You will be joining a sophisticated, fast-paced environment where your work directly impacts the success of hundreds of independent advisors and the world’s most prestigious travel brands.
