Our Business Intelligence team acts like internal consultants. We help teams across the company do their jobs better by identifying opportunities and informing data-driven decisions. We don't just "pull data"—we uncover the stories buried in the numbers to guide our marketing, product, and member experience strategies.
The Business Intelligence/Data Analyst plays a critical role in driving strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with senior BI team members and stakeholders across various departments to analyze business performance and develop growth strategies.

The Motley Fool is a purpose-driven financial services company on a mission to make the world smarter, happier, and richer. For 30 years we've been helping people take control of their financial futures—through transparency, education, and a healthy dose of Foolishness. We're a fast-moving, collaborative team that values high-quality work, curiosity, and initiative. We care deeply about what we do, and we're driven by the impact our work has on real people's lives.
Our Back-End Direct Response team is responsible for some of the highest-stakes copy at The Motley Fool. We write for a specific kind of reader: the experienced investor with a serious portfolio—typically $500K or more in investable assets—who's already paying for our products and is hungry for the next great opportunity. These are not people who need convincing that investing matters. They need to be convinced that this opportunity is the one they can't afford to miss.
The team produces the long-form, premium content that drives upgrades into our highest-tier products: think hour-long Video Sales Letters, 5,000–8,000-word order pages, and week-long email campaigns. The bar is high—and so is the upside.
We’re looking for a senior Direct Response Writer & Creative Lead to own the full arc of back-end upgrade campaigns—from Big Idea → positioning → execution → iteration.
This is not a “fill in the brief” role. You’ll be expected to:
You’ll work closely with investment analysts, marketers, and creative partners to bring those ideas to life across channels.
Success in this role comes down to one thing: Do your ideas and campaigns drive action?
The successful candidate will be able to provide:
Please note, no sponsorship is available for this position. You must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, one of these states for employment: Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington DC, and Wisconsin.
Below you’ll see a few of our perks, but check out our Careers Site for the complete list:

Who are we?
The Motley Fool is a purpose-driven financial services company on a mission to make the world smarter, happier, and richer. We’re a fast-moving, collaborative team that values high-quality work, curiosity, and initiative. We care deeply about what we do, and we’re driven by the impact our work has on real people’s financial futures.
What does this team do?
Our Member Marketing team helps grow the business by connecting more members with the products, tools, and experiences that can make them smarter, happier, and richer. We sit at the intersection of growth, experimentation, member insight, and marketing performance.
We’re looking for an Always On Marketing Manager to help lead and scale one of our most important ongoing marketing programs.
What is “Always On”?
“Always On” means maintaining dynamic internal site ads, automated emails, targeted opportunities, and crafting experiences that deliver the right offers to the right members at the right time. This role is pivotal in driving significant revenue growth, with the zone projected to generate millions of dollars in campaign revenue. The right candidate will thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and collaborative environment, eager to make a tangible impact on our company's growth trajectory.
This role sits right in the middle of strategy and execution. You’ll be responsible for helping us identify where the biggest opportunities are within Always On—and then actually bringing them to life. We’re looking for someone who’s just as comfortable doing the work as they are shaping where it goes next.
Some days that means stepping back and thinking about how we should evolve the channel. Other days it means getting into the weeds—building campaigns, QA’ing ads, and figuring out what’s working (and what’s not).
The right person is a marketer first: someone with strong direct-response instincts, a sharp eye for performance, a genuine interest in financial services and investing, and real excitement about using AI and automation to work smarter.
This is a chance to own and shape a growing, high-impact area of our marketing ecosystem. You’ll have the opportunity to influence strategy, improve member experiences, test new ideas, work with smart cross-functional partners, and help define how Always On evolves over time.

The Motley Fool is looking for a highly skilled AI-assisted financial content writer. This role will be on a contract basis and we are looking for someone who can commit a minimum of 15 hours per week.
This contract opportunity is flexible and 100% remote, but candidates must reside in the United States for consideration.

What does this team do?
The Fool.com editorial team works to provide informative and impactful investor-driven content for our readers. It’s important to us that this content is not only Foolishly insightful, but also accurate, and that’s where you’ll come in.
What Will You Do in This Role?
You will review, write and publish hundreds of articles each month with the assistance of AI. You will navigate our content management system where we will have articles waiting based on recent news events like insiders buying or selling shares, a company paying a dividend, or having recently filed earnings.
Our AI engine will have assembled all of the salient details and figures into the document for you to review. You will perform a quick fact check, and then write 150-300 words of Foolish context that guides readers through how to contextualize this information. If the CEO sells $400 of stock in a planned sale… not a big deal. If they cut their shares by 70% right before earnings, that’s something investors should pay attention to. We’re looking to you for critical context!
You must be financially savvy, interested in investing, self motivated, have attention to detail, and understand the principles of Foolish investing (buy great companies, hold them for the long run, and be optimistic). And if you’ve got a passion for LLMs and AI technologies – even better.
Okay, but what will you actually do in this role?
