Position Summary: 
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“MJFF”) is seeking top talent for its Intern position within our Research Alliances Department. The Research Alliances team builds and manages strategic partnerships with industry and corporate partners to advance MJFF’s mission. The intern will support a strategic initiative focused on evaluating and strengthening our sponsorship offerings across the organization. It will provide a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of fundraising strategy, corporate engagement, and programmatic alignment. 

The intern will conduct a comprehensive comparative analysis of MJFF’s existing sponsorship materials, including Foundation-wide corporate sponsorship menus as well as program- and event-specific offerings. Through this work, the intern will develop a holistic understanding of how sponsorship levels are currently structured, priced, and positioned across different MJFF initiatives.  

The intern will analyze sponsorship offerings to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and gaps, assess how effectively tiers communicate value, and incorporate external benchmarking against peer organizations to inform opportunities for alignment, innovation, and competitiveness. 

By synthesizing findings into clear insights, the intern will play a key role in informing future efforts to streamline and standardize sponsorship frameworks across the Foundation. This high-impact project will help enhance MJFF’s ability to engage and retain corporate partners at scale. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Conduct a comprehensive review of MJFF’s current corporate sponsorship materials and menus  

• Analyze and compare sponsorship tiers across programs, focusing on pricing structures, benefits and deliverables, naming conventions and tier alignment, and value differentiation between levels

Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“the Foundation”) is seeking top talent for its Senior Philanthropy Relationship Manager position.  Reporting to the Director of Major Gifts, this role will manage a curated portfolio of high-level major gift donors.  This position develops and maintains strong collaborative working relationships with colleagues within Development and across the Foundation. On a day-to-day basis, this role is an active relationship steward and frontline fundraiser, managing the overall strategy, planning, execution, and delivery of bespoke donor engagement plans that support their portfolio strategy and revenue goals. This position energizes and motivates those around them and will regularly demonstrate the Foundation’s core values of optimism, tenacity, collaboration, boldness, adaptability, and curiosity. 

 This position will be based remotely within the Midwest/Mountain regions of the United States. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Develop strategy and manage a portfolio of donors giving at the mid to high six-seven figure range annually who require a high level of strategic management, including but not limited to donors who have the potential to give six to seven-figure gifts annually 

• Collaborate with senior leaders across the Foundation to provide a donor-centric approach 

• Lead by example to promote a collaborative working environment

The position emphasizes real-world evidence generation, clinical adoption, and patient impact, working across diverse regulatory and commercial pathways. Success requires strong curiosity, collaboration, and the ability to connect scientific, clinical, and market insights to advance innovative therapies. 

This position may be hybrid-flex with the opportunity to work from the Foundation’s office in NYC or based remotely from anywhere within the U.S. 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Strategic Leadership: Lead and execute strategic programs that align with the Foundation’s patient-centered priorities and therapeutic research vision, ensuring a de-risked and patient-centric clinical development approach

Position Summary:
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research ("the Foundation") is seeking top talent for its Senior Scientific Portfolio Manager position.  Reporting to the Director of Translational Biomarkers, this position develops a scientific strategy for biomarker-focused portfolios spanning discovery, validation, and clinical implementation. 

The Senior Scientific Portfolio Manager oversees complex portfolios and programs throughout all stages of grant-making and funding, including proposal development, review, contracting, milestone management, and close-out.  This role requires shaping of an impact-driven biomarker agenda—advancing fluid biomarkers to accelerate therapeutic development and improve clinical trial design. This position synthesizes emerging biomarker science to inform funding priorities, collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders, and communicates portfolio strategy and progress to partners and donors. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Shapes, recommends, and communicates a creative, solutions-focused, value-added scientific agenda/POV within assigned biomarker portfolios and programs, leveraging input from internal team and external advisors and regularly communicates progress

Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (“the Foundation”) is seeking top talent for its Senior Donor Engagement Programs Manager position.  Reporting to the Director of Donor Relations, this role serves as a key strategist on the Development team, responsible for executing stewardship initiatives that inspire philanthropic support and deepen donor engagement with a focus on mid-market audiences (annual contributions <$50K annually). This role will collaborate with program teams to identify appropriate milestones and implement feasible loyalty programs, recognition, benefits received, and intentional stewardship touchpoints that occur year-round. In addition, the role will oversee the strategic use of technology and tools related to stewardship ensuring efficient use across relationship management and program teams.  

The Senior Donor Engagement Programs Manager must be creative, adaptable, and understand the value of every donor at every gift size at the Foundation. This team member will represent and share best practices in areas of donor relations and stewardship and be energized by a growing and evolving team.
