Your Role in Our Story: 

In essence, your role involves:

• Lead full-cycle recruitment by partnering with hiring managers and external agencies (if applicable) on job postings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.  

• Track and analyze recruiting metrics and maintain ATS tools (Greenhouse, BrightHire) to support data-driven hiring decisions.  

• Manage core day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, employee documentation, background checks, HRIS updates, and offboarding processes.  

• Support payroll and benefits administration by partnering with third-party providers (e.g., TriNet), assisting with payroll cycles, 401(k), and leave management. 

• Coordinate immigration and global mobility processes with external counsel, tracking visa timelines and ensuring compliance.  

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data across HR systems, org charts, and employee lifecycle activities.  

• Maintain compliance with company policies and employment laws while identifying opportunities to improve HR systems and processes. 

• Support talent management, learning & development, employee engagement initiatives, and key projects, including performance reviews, training programs, and ownership of programs such as the Summer Internship Program, as well as other ad hoc HR initiatives.  

Your Expertise: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in a HR role
• Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes  

• Solid understanding of HR fundamentals including knowledge of HR operations, labor laws, and HR best practices  

• Sound judgement and ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality  

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills  

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment  

• Attention to detail and organizational skills  

• Exposure to sales & trading, financial services, or SaaS industry is a plus 

• Experience with HRIS and ATS software (TriNet, Workday, Culture Amp, Greenhouse, BrightHire) is a plus 

• Certification(s): SHRM(CP/SCP), HRCI(PHR/SPHR) is a plus  

This role does require being 4 days a week in our Midtown Manhattan office. The base pay range for this position is $100k-$125k annually + discretionary bonus; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. • University or higher vocational education, ideally in Business Economics or a relevant discipline

The base pay range for this position is $130,000 - $175,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The base pay is just one component of the total competitive compensation package for employees.

Your Role in Our Story:

In essence, your role involves:

• Work with the Finance and Credit teams to complete the deal process
• Facilitate timely product delivery to clients and from vendors with a high degree of accuracy
• Ensure accurate information on every transaction and help create management reports
• Partner with clients and vendors regarding their accounts to resolve any account/invoice discrepancies
• Coordinate with the internal credit team to ensure client and vendor account balances are in good standing before deliveries are complete
• Internal contract preparation and external contract review, related to transaction details
• Monitor & follow up with internal and external parties to ensure contract execution and accuracy
• Support month-end close activities
• Own quarterly transaction reporting & reconciliations
• Partner with auditors for annual audits & reporting
• Contribute as a thought partner in documenting and creating new policies and procedures for the Operations team
• Work collaboratively across teams to address evolving needs
• Supporting with ad hoc projects
• This position requires coming into the New York office at least four times a week.

Your Expertise: 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, Business/Administration and Economics, or related studies preferred
• Minimum 2 – 5 years of working experience in trade operations, accounting, or reporting
• Highly self-motivated person who thrives in a driven work environment and demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Excellent knowledge and use of English (written and spoken)
• Excellent administrative skills with eye for detail
• Excellent problem solving and stress management skills combined with a pro-active attitude
• Experience in the oil and/or commodity trading industry is a plus
• Takes ownership for decisions and is accountable for actions regardless of the outcome
