We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven technology or digital media sales account executive to join our team. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of digital and television media solutions, including streaming and broadcast television, digital advertising, and content partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in digital sales, business development with a deep understanding of media and marketing trends, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. This role requires a strategic approach to identifying opportunities, pitching solutions, and delivering measurable results for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Revenue Generation: Drive sales by identifying and securing new business opportunities across multiple digital channels, including streaming, online video and display, and content marketing solutions.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their marketing needs are met and identifying areas for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
- Consultative Selling: Provide consultative solutions to clients by understanding their business goals, analyzing market trends, and recommending tailored marketing strategies that drive results.
- Market Research & Lead Generation: Research industry trends and competitor offerings to develop a robust pipeline of prospective clients and stay ahead of market shifts.
- Proposal Development & Pitching: Craft compelling sales presentations and proposals that showcase the value of our media offerings, using data and insights to communicate potential ROI.
- Campaign Management & Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful campaign execution, monitoring performance, and optimizing for maximum effectiveness and client satisfaction.
- Reporting & Analytics: Regularly review and report on sales targets, campaign performance, and key metrics to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the account management, and product teams to align on campaign strategies, creative assets, and ad placements that meet clients’ needs.
- Performance Management: Strategically use CRM and prospecting tools to manage and achieve quotas as it pertains to activity metrics and revenue goals.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in digital media sales, advertising, or a related industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and industry trends, including programmatic, streaming media, display, video, social, and content marketing
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to interpret data and analytics to provide actionable insights
- Self-motivated, with a passion for sales and digital media
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ad management tools a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in working with business owners and/or agency clients
- Knowledge of streaming and digital media
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, DSPs, and SSPs.

KUSA KTVD-TV TEGNA's NBC affiliate, is looking for a creative Multi-Market Digital Sales Manager (MMDSM) to join a top-performing sales team. You will be responsible for growing digital revenue with core and new business. As the Multi-Market Digital Sales Manager, you will manage and develop the digital sales skills and knowledge of the Account Executives and Account Managers and build strategies to win over clients within their markets. You also oversee performance and hold your team accountable for the achievement of their individual digital goals to achieve the collective objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Create, develop, and own strategies for generating and achieving digital revenue goals for the market.
- Recruit, retain, and effectively train top-performing sales and support talent on how to sell TEGNA’s large portfolio of digital products.
- Lead and develop a team of direct reports consisting of an Account Executive, an Account Manager, and manage dotted line reports.
- Supports sales staff with ride-along coaching, participating in client meetings, developing proposals, and acting as the subject matter expert on digital solutions.
- Identify market potential through lead generation and qualification.
- Analyze each account to create and maximize ideal marketing executions for clients, and complete appropriate business activity reports and forecasts as required.
- Develop strong relationships with local clients, manage key local accounts with your team and ensure top-shelf service is provided to all accounts.
- Review and adjust metrics to monitor sales/market share changes.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of successful digital sales and account engagement experience with 2 years of team management experience.
- Track record of successfully achieving or exceeding sales goals in digital media advertising industry, including OTT, within fast-changing, dynamic environments.
- Established leadership skills and demonstrated ability to develop teams with elite sales and customer service skills.
- Strategic thinker and disciplined executor comfortable developing and making recommendations to senior management.
- Strong presenter and communicator with internal and external customers and partners.
- Possess the ability to build an inclusive and positive work culture to foster success for the sales team.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Google Analytics, Wide Orbit Sales, Salesforce, Wide Orbit Traffic & Wide Orbit Analytics, ComScore, Matrix, Media Monitors, Tableau, and qualitative data.

In This Role, You Will:
• Use the latest editing and photography tools to tell great stories, including but not limited to Edius.
• Produce original content on-air and on all digital platforms that evoke emotion and tell compelling stories.

9NEWS in Denver is looking for a talented and experienced Multi-Skilled Journalist who can hit the ground running while covering news in the rapidly growing Mile High City.
The successful candidate will be a positive problem solver who can work quickly to produce compelling daily content for our broadcast and digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Pitch enterprise and compelling promotable stories for a morning viewer. This content will include elements that can be teased throughout the morning.
• Turn content for a daily broadcast and digital platform deadlines including web articles and mobile short video
• Develop contacts and sources within Colorado communities
• Effective story development and ability to vet
• Streaming digital assignments as needed
Our Reporters are expected to pitch compelling stories that can be turned on a daily deadline. This includes the ability to research effectively and build relationships with newsmakers who provide updates on stories today and in the future. Responsibilities also include meeting all broadcast and digital deadlines and communicating any obstacles to meeting those deadlines so we can change plans if necessary. In this role you will also contribute vertical content for the app and on-air.
Requirements:
• A journalism or communications degree is preferred.
• Three to five years of daily local newsgathering experience is required.
• The candidate must be able to shoot, write and edit video using a non-linear video editing software program.
• We also expect complete command of writing clean broadcast and digital copy and a thorough understanding of the principles and practice of effective and ethical newsgathering.
• Our final requirement is a strong on-air presentation with the ability to speak smoothly during live coverage including completely unscripted breaking news situations.

KUSA 9NEWS in Denver, Colorado is seeking a dynamic, experienced Morning News Anchor to join our top-rated morning team. This role goes beyond reading the news—it's about driving the day’s conversation, connecting with viewers across platforms, and bringing energy, authenticity, and warmth to our morning newscasts.
Responsibilities:
• Anchor weekday morning newscasts and contribute to news segments across platforms
• Collaborate closely with producers, reporters, meteorologists, and photojournalists to create high-impact, engaging content
• Write, edit, and fact-check scripts that uphold 9NEWS’s commitment to accuracy, clarity, and community relevance
• Lead and participate in live interviews, breaking news, and developing stories in-studio and in the field
• Engage actively with our audience through social media, digital platforms, and station-sponsored community events
• Serve as a newsroom leader, helping shape the tone, content, and storytelling approach of the morning show
• Represent 9NEWS with professionalism and journalistic integrity at all times
• Participate in community events as requested
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of anchoring experience in a competitive news market
• Proven ability to handle breaking news and unscripted moments with poise and accuracy
• Outstanding writing, storytelling, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong on-camera presence and comfort with live reporting
• Experience using newsroom tools like ENPS, video editing software, and digital CMS
• Passion for local journalism and deep interest in the Denver community
• Willingness to work early morning hours, holidays, and occasional extended shifts
• 3-5 years experience anchoring a morning show in a mid-to-large market
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Demonstrated success building a personal brand and audience on social media
Salary: 150k – 165k

This hybrid role combines the skills of an assignment editor and a digital content producer to serve as the hub of the newsroom. The Story Desk Editor drives daily editorial execution, curates and produces impactful stories, and ensures our content connects authentically with audiences across streaming, digital, social and broadcast platforms.
Role Summary
As a Story Desk Editor, you will be part of the Story Management Desk (SMD), a unified desk that replaces the legacy assignment and digital desks. The SMD model ensures a single, streamlined workflow for planning, producing and curating stories across platforms.
You will also work as the primary Weekend Planner, working ahead of the weekend with reporters, producers, and news leaders to set up weekend coverage plans.
You will lead coverage during breaking news, shape daily story planning, and curate content across platforms. This position requires decisive editorial judgment, strong writing skills, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines. You will collaborate with MSJs, producers and photojournalists to deliver accurate, relevant and engaging stories that serve the community.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and communicate newsroom coverage during breaking news, ensuring accuracy, urgency and balance
• Create the weekend plan which includes staffing for all shifts, submitted story pitches, story ideas, live morning show guests, events to cover, and stories available to run on the weekend.
• Identify and plan stories that matter most to the community, using editorial judgment and social listening
• Lead the weekend editorial meeting on Fridays
• Guide weekend newsroom logistics and provide editorial support for MSJs, producers, and photojournalists
• Create and edit engaging content for digital platforms: website, mobile app and streaming,
• Edit reporter content for accuracy, grammar, AP style, digital best practices, fairness and ethical considerations
• Enhance storytelling with creative elements (graphics, video, audience-submitted content, etc.)
• Use available metrics (i.e. Taboola, Google Data Studio, etc.) to inform coverage and improve audience reach
• Support newsroom operations and coverage planning as needed
• Uphold TEGNA’s journalistic standards and values across all platforms
Requirements:
• 1–3 years of journalism experience in a local newsroom, digital production, or related role
• Strong news judgment and the ability to make fast, sound editorial decisions under pressure
• Organizational skills to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to produce accurate and compelling content quickly
• Experience with newsroom systems, CMS tools
• A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset that thrives in a team environment
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or equivalent experience
