KREM KSKN-TV in CBS/CW is looking for a dynamic and engaging Weather Anchor to join our passionate team. This position is responsible for preparing and delivering accurate weather reports on-air and online in a conversational manner. The key responsibility is the ability to gather and analyze information and alert our audiences about what’s going to happen with weather in their community. We are looking for a team player who can help with every aspect of meteorology, from forecasting, to preparing graphics, to reporting in the field, you will be an integral part of severe weather coverage, and reaching our consumers not only on TV, but online and on social media. The ideal candidate embraces new technology and is willing to explore new ways to present the weather story. As a central member of the WX department, the ideal candidate is a team player who participates in brainstorming and planning for future shows, including important weather events and explainers.

Responsibilities:
Lead all daypart teams to create unique, impactful newscasts that showcase KREM’s high-quality content across broadcast, digital and streaming platforms
Coach and develop producers to execute newscasts in an engaging, authentic and audience-focused manner, including storytelling, showcasing and presentation
Coach reporters and anchors to perform in a compelling and conversational way that connects with viewers
Lead recruitment efforts across the newsroom, with a focus on building a team that reflects the community we serve
Serve as a key voice in the KREM editorial process, helping shape daily and long-term coverage priorities
Use research, audience insights and analytics to guide editorial decisions and content strategy
Collaborate with news leaders to ensure alignment across platforms and maximize audience reach
Oversee planning and execution of special projects and community-focused initiatives
Lead coverage of major breaking news and severe weather events with urgency, accuracy and impact
Perform other tasks as required by the Vice President of Content for the region.
Requirements:
College degree in journalism, communications or related field
Minimum of 5–7 years of news experience preferred, including newsroom leadership and supervision
Demonstrated ability to oversee and produce engaging, urgent and high-value content-driven newscasts
Strong writing skills are required; experience with special programming is a plus
Solid social media skills and a strong understanding of audience engagement across platforms
Experience with shooting, editing and content management systems
Strong understanding of the tenets of professional journalism
Organizational skills and the ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

The Development Program Account Executive is a structured, 12-month development role designed to build the next generation of high-performing media sales professionals. This position provides comprehensive training across television, digital, and data -driven advertising solutions while offering hands-on selling experience under guidance of senior sales leaders.
The Account Executive Development Program bridges the gap between entry-level sales experience and full Account Executive responsibility by combing formal learning, mentorship, and progressive revenue ownership. KREM 2 in Spokane, Washington is looking for a Photojournalist/Editor to join our award-winning team. Qualified candidates should be able to quickly shoot and edit quality stories for multiple newscasts and online platforms. This is a hybrid position where the team member will be assigned photojournalist and show editor responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Use the latest photography and editing tools to tell great stories on deadline
• Produce original content for on-air and digital platforms that evoke emotion and tell compelling stories
• Use creative production techniques such as graphics and other forms of media (viewer pictures and videos, etc.) to enhance stories
• Cover breaking news, general assignment news, weather, feature stories and sports
• Attend editorial meetings, participate in discussions and suggest story ideas
• Work closely with producers, MSJs and fellow photojournalists/editors daily
• Operate live equipment (i.e. live trucks and Dejeros)
• Perform other tasks as required by Chief Journalist or other members of the news leadership team
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience as a news photojournalist/editor preferred
• Knowledge of Sony cameras is preferred, along with wireless microphones, TVU or Dejero live units
• Having solid control of lighting different interviews, good composition is a plus
• Experience with video editing software is preferred; knowledge of video editing using proper sequencing and audio levels
• Working knowledge or operation of a live truck is a plus
• Ability to calmly handle live, breaking news situations and changing events
• Ability to create/edit material for on-air and web, while meeting deadlines
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, nightside, holidays and overtime as needed
• Ability to be in on-call rotation

The Account Manager (AM) partners with Account Executives to execute and optimize integrated advertising campaigns across Broadcast Television, Streaming TV, and Digital platforms. Campaign Execution & Management
• Manage post-sale execution of Broadcast and Digital campaigns, including order entry, implementation, maintenance, and fulfillment.
• Accurately prepare and input all Broadcast and Digital orders, ensuring inventory availability and data integrity across systems.
• Maintain and revise contracts (new, revisions, additions), complete new client setup, and manage special projects and sponsorships.
• Traffic creative for Digital campaigns and coordinate with internal and external vendors to ensure timely launch and monitoring.
• Track audience delivery and campaign performance using Comscore ratings, impressions, and digital reporting tools.
• Develop and recommend makegood solutions related to preemptions, inventory changes, political impact, or pricing adjustments.
Client Service & Revenue Support
• Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned agencies and direct clients.
• Deliver clear, timely campaign reporting across all Digital platforms.
• Partner with Account Executives to identify incremental revenue opportunities based on campaign results.
