What You’ll Do

• Continuous Program Improvement  
  • Deliver one monthly coaching optimization plan outlining prioritized actions to improve member experience and program performance.
  • Conduct quarterly review and refresh of coaching curriculum, session content, and member journey touchpoints.  
  • Identify operational gaps and implement approved process improvements to enhance participation and experience.  
• Coach Training & Quality Assurance  
  • Onboard and train new coaches  
  • Deliver one monthly coach training session focused on facilitation skills, behavior change strategies, and member engagement best practices.  
  • Conduct quarterly quality assurance reviews, calibration sessions, and coaching observations to support consistent service delivery. 
  • Provide ongoing performance feedback and coaching support to health coaches as needed.  
  • Provide back-up health coaching coverage, as needed, during planned coach absences or unplanned staffing gaps.  
• Member Experience Optimization  
  • Conduct monthly review of onboarding, attendance, no show, and re-engagement trends using available operational data.  
  • Develop and maintain member retention playbooks for no-shows, disengagement, and continued coaching participation.  
  • Provide recommendations to improve coaching access, scheduling experience, and long-term engagement.

About You 

• National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (required)  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills  
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment 

Compensation

The intern will develop a computational framework using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to analyze therapeutic dynamics. We are looking for a Psychiatric Consultant to join our Collaborative Care team. The Psychiatric Consultant supports the Collaborative Care team—the primary care provider, patient, and Behavioral Health Care Manager—through regular consultation on an assigned caseload of patients. The Psychiatric Consultant advises the primary care provider on appropriate medications and other treatment strategies, also providing the care team with educational support on diagnosing and managing behavioral health conditions. • Clinical Oversight
• Provide regularly scheduled (usually weekly) caseload consultation to Behavioral Health Care Managers. Case review consultations focus primarily on patients who are new to the caseload or who are not improving as expected under their current treatment plan. Case reviews may be conducted by telephone, video, or in person.
• Work with Behavioral Health Care Managers to oversee the status and population health of their assigned patient caseload. 
• Treatment Adjustment & Transitions of Care
• Recommend any treatment adjustments through the case review process or in ad hoc consultations, including medication recommendations and other interventions, within 24 hours of consulting with a Behavioral Health Care Manager or other team members.
• Advise on treatment for patients who may need more intensive or more specialized mental health care, supporting treatment in the medical setting until patients can be engaged in specialized care as appropriate.
• Be available to provide occasional ad hoc telephone consultation to primary care providers for very complex patients or challenging patient situations.

About You 

• Licensed Psychiatrist or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) required; Dual Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred
• Licensed in North Carolina required
• Experience in a Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) or equivalent
• Demonstrated understanding of the Collaborative Care model for mental health service delivery in Primary Care settings

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Administrator (Contractor) to prepare two small bi-weekly payrolls and support specific day-to-day benefits administration. This role requires knowledge of non-exempt payroll compliance, timecard auditing, monthly vendor reconciliations and experience utilizing Payroll/HRIS systems. This role supports the payroll and benefit functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working in payroll systems (BambooHR or similar), and experienced in supporting a non-exempt workforce while having strong knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets to leverage formulas, pivot tables and other Excel functions for monthly vendor reconciliations.To work at Talkspace, you need to be as passionate as we are about our work, and excited to partner with us on delivering quality mental healthcare.

Our Operations team is looking for a Revenue Cycle Associate. The Revenue Cycle Associate is responsible for ensuring the financial health of Talkspace through meticulous revenue cycle support. With a focus on organization and efficiency, they adeptly organize and process claims into the database, maintaining a high standard of accuracy. This includes keeping records of all processed claims and invoices to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing claims and billing.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Science team. The Senior Data Engineer will lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance data architectures and models for both batch and streaming data processing. This person will define and execute a strategic Data Engineering Roadmap that maximizes the value of the organization's data assets and ensures alignment with long-term business goals. This involves managing ETL/ELT processes, optimizing database systems for performance and scalability, and driving continuous improvement in data engineering workflows. Our engineering team is looking for a QA Automation Engineer. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining automated and manual testing frameworks that ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of web, mobile, API, and LLM-powered systems. This role includes designing tests for agentic workflows, validating structured outputs, identifying regressions in model behavior, and collaborating with engineers and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

What You’ll DO

Automation Testing 

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web apps, mobile apps, APIs, and LLM-driven features.
• Build and improve automation frameworks for testing agentic and multi-step workflows.
• Update automated scripts based on evolving requirements, prompts, tools, and system behaviors.
• Debug and troubleshoot automation issues to ensure stability and reliability.

Manual & Exploratory Testing 

• Execute manual test cases to validate new features and identify defects.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover unexpected behaviors, including AI-specific issues.
• Create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases.
• Document and track defects using standard tools and processes.

AI-Specific QA Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer to join our team. The Senior AI Engineer will be a pivotal technical leader, responsible for designing, building, and scaling the autonomous AI agents that form the core of our behavioral health platform. This role requires deep expertise in developing complex, multi-agent systems, leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for reasoning, planning, and goal setting, and applying Reinforcement Learning (RL) techniques to model and influence human behavior safely and ethically. You will drive the entire lifecycle of our agents—from developing cognitive architectures and interaction models to ensuring their robust, high-availability deployment and continuous learning in a production environment. Given the sensitivity of behavioral health, this role demands an exceptional focus on safety, ethical autonomy, transparency, and data privacy. The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineer who can bridge the gap between theoretical AI (specifically RL and planning) and real-world, scalable, and impactful user interactions. What You’ll Do

• Autonomous System Architecture: Design and implement the technical architecture for Sentia’s core AI agents, including the development of planning modules, memory/retrieval systems, goal-setting algorithms, and tool-use orchestration.
• Reinforcement Learning (RL) for Behavior: Apply advanced RL, Inverse RL, or related control theory methods to develop agents capable of adaptive, long-term intervention strategies that maximize positive user outcomes while minimizing risk (e.g., optimizing interaction sequencing, timing, and content).
• LLM Integration and Fine-tuning: Select, fine-tune, and deploy foundation models (LLMs) to power agent reasoning, natural language understanding, and empathetic, context-aware communication with users.
• Complex Interaction Modeling: Develop models for human-agent interaction (HAI), incorporating principles from cognitive science and behavioral economics to ensure agents are effective, trustworthy, and aligned with therapeutic protocols.
• Simulated Environments: Construct robust simulation environments for pre-training and testing agent policies, ensuring system stability and safety across a wide range of psychological and behavioral scenarios.
• Performance and Resilience: Optimize the deployment environment to manage the computational demands of multi-agent orchestration, ensuring low-latency decision-making and high system resilience.
• Technical Strategy: Lead the evaluation and adoption of new agentic frameworks, reasoning technologies, and system design patterns that position Sentia as a leader in autonomous behavioral health technology.
• Agent Evaluation & Observability: Design and implement comprehensive evaluation pipelines for multi-agent orchestration—including visualisations, trace-level analysis of LLM calls and tool invocations, offline evaluation against golden datasets, real-time production monitoring for behavioral drift and outcome correlation, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop annotation workflows. Establish metrics frameworks to assess reasoning quality, task completion, safety compliance, and task alignment across the full agent lifecycle.

About You 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a highly quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a production software engineering environment, with at least 3+ years specifically focused on designing, implementing, and deploying complex machine learning or autonomous systems.
• Exceptional Python Programming Skills: Mastery of Python and its scientific libraries.
• Production MLOps Expertise: Demonstrated experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for ML models and integrating them into service-oriented architectures (SOA).
• Autonomous/Agentic Systems: Strong theoretical understanding and practical application of techniques central to agentic AI, such as Reinforcement Learning (RL), planning algorithms, or complex decision-making systems.
• LLM Deployment: Hands-on experience fine-tuning, deploying, and managing Large Language Models (LLMs) in a production environment, including knowledge of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and cost optimization.
• Software Engineering Rigor: Proven ability to write high-quality, maintainable, scalable, and well-tested production code.
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Compensation

At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.

The base salary range for this role is between $169,000 and $200,000. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate’s relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
