Job Responsibilities:
As an ICT Senior Consultant - RF Engineer, you will design critical radio systems including FDNY Auxiliary Radio Communication Systems (ARCS), Emergency Responder Radio Enhancement/Coverage Systems (ERRCS) and In-Building Cellular Distributed Antenna Systems as well as 2-Way Commercial Radio Systems and Wi-Fi Systems.
As an ICT Senior Consultant - RF Engineer, you will be involved in the entire project life cycle through all phases of design and construction administration working with architects and all MEP disciplines to ensure a well-coordinated design. Critical radio design projects will involve office buildings, warehouses, data centers, transportation hubs, and institutions including major universities as well as hospitals in the New York metropolitan area as well as across the continental United States.
This dynamic role will involve consulting and interfacing with clients, architects, vendors, contractors, and authorities having jurisdiction.
Additional Responsibilities:
This is a great opportunity for an ICT Senior Consultant – RF Engineer with a large variety of facility types including Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, Storage and Governmental buildings experience, as well as experience in critical facilities such as hospitals and data centers. In addition to your engineering experience, to succeed in this role, you will need a solid knowledge of the code and technologies that apply to Critical Radio Systems used by First Responders as well as Cellular Systems for various projects with the ability to communicate design concepts via drawings and specifications. Experience in ARCS, ERRCS, Wi-Fi, In-Building Cellular DAS and LMR a must. In addition, experience in Project Design Life-Cycle (SD, DD, CD, Bidding, CA) also mandated.
