Responsibilities:  

• Analyze client requirements and existing system configurations to calculate the financial components of client contracts
• Effectively manage the change order queue from initial request to final execution
• Manage the input of study specifications within budget calculators
• Analyze client requirements to calculate the financial components of client proposals
• Prepare, edit and/or customize change order text to accurately reflect the changes in assumptions and budget summaries
• Ensure change orders are consistent with pricing/financial terms outlined customer master agreements
• Schedule and Lead the Change Order Alignment calls with the project team(s)
• Actively communicate with the Project Team and Finance to support the timely and accurate delivery of change orders

Supporting clinical trials means supporting unique experiments that are inherently complex, high-stakes, and dynamic. It is imperative that Suvoda staff working with clients, end-users, or the systems that client and end-users interact with understand the clinical trial industry, regulations, Suvoda’s software products and processes, and especially the specificities of the unique trial in question before taking any actions they may alter the data of the system in question.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a cross-functional project team responsible for the delivery of Interactive Response Technology (IRT) for randomization and drug supply management in clinical trials;
• Support the Services Delivery project team in: 
• Liaising with the client to discuss requirements, handle issues, provide status updates, and answer questions;
• Designing the IRT solution to meet the study requirements based on the clinical protocol, Suvoda proposal and discussions with the client;
• Accurately and completely documenting all requirements and participating in internal and external specification review meetings;
• Assisting with client review meetings of IRT specifications and supporting documents, making any required updates;
• Managing project schedules and scope, tracking all internal and client tasks required to meet project milestones;
• Managing the cross-functional project team’s schedule and task assignments;
• Assisting with creating the UAT plan, developing test scripts, coordinating data setup, and providing client support for client UAT;
• Providing protocol-specific support to the client and support team after go-live;
• Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project build and maintenance phase, working with Suvoda management, the Suvoda product team, and business development as needed;
• Provide system training to end-users using in-person meetings, web meetings, and user manuals;
• Provide telephone and email support to system users globally;
• Travel to client sites to attend meetings and conduct user training sessions;

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Employee Relations Specialist to lead and manage employee relations for our hub in Romania. In this key role, you'll ensure that employee matters are handled with fairness, legal compliance, consistency, and compassion, all while aligning with our values and business objectives. 

As the primary Employee Relations expert for Romania, you'll collaborate closely with Talent Management and the Talent & Culture teams to navigate complex employee situations, guide leadership through sensitive decisions, and maintain compliance with Romanian labor laws and employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities: 

Employee Relations Leadership 

• Act as the main point of contact for all employee relations matters in Romania, handling cases with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Manage a wide range of employee relations issues, including performance and disciplinary actions, grievances, misconduct, and terminations, ensuring fairness and respect for all involved.
•  Lead and facilitate complex investigations, ensuring outcomes are legally compliant and reflect our organizational values. 
• Provide expert guidance during organizational change, supporting transparent and legally compliant processes. 

Labor Law Expertise & Compliance 

• Serve as the go-to expert on Romanian labor law, offering business-focused advice to HR and leadership teams.
• Ensure that employee relations practices are compliant with local labor laws and consistently applied across the organization.
• Collaborate with legal counsel on high-risk or complex cases, ensuring best practices are followed.

Collaboration & Partnership 

• Partner with HR Business Partners to help leaders address employee relations matters effectively.
• Work closely with the Talent & Culture team to integrate employee relations practices with performance management frameworks, policies, and employee experience initiatives.
• Contribute to ER training programs, helping managers navigate difficult conversations and handle performance management and disciplinary processes.

Documentation & Reporting 

•  Keep accurate and confidential records of all employee relations cases. 
• Provide valuable insights and trend reports to People leadership, helping drive informed decision-making. 
• Support audits and internal reviews related to employment practices.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, ora related field. 
• At least 5 years of experience in Employee Relations or a similar HR role, preferably within a tech or multinational company.
• In-depth knowledge of Romanian labor law and employment regulations, with practical experience in handling complex situations.
• Proven experience in managing investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations (both voluntary and involuntary).
• Experience supporting organizations through change (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, restructurings) is a plus.
•  High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, anda strong sense of discretion. 

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
