UX Designer

You will be responsible for:

• Calculated Experimentation and Optimisation: Challenging the status quo by pitching and prototyping bold, innovative ideas. We want you to take design risks and validate those big swings through testing and user feedback.
• Data-Informed Design: Conducting research and partnering closely with our data team to generate, consume, and translate qualitative feedback and quantitative metrics into actionable product improvements.
• Solving Complex Problems: Navigating financial UX challenges by balancing usability, accessibility, and cognitive load with business conversion goals.
• Systems Thinking: Leveraging and actively contributing to our existing design system to architect elegant flows and ensure efficient, consistent handoffs for development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with Product Managers to help shape the roadmap, and clearly rationalising design decisions to Engineering to ensure the shipped product matches your vision.
• Market Awareness: Keeping a pulse on the fintech landscape, competitor products, and emerging interaction patterns to ensure our experiences remain modern, intuitive, and deeply trusted by our users.

Requirements and skills:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Product Designer (or a UX Designer with a strong track record of end-to-end product delivery).
• Core Capabilities: A deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and how to apply them to complex, highly transactional web and mobile applications.
• Tooling & DesignOps: Expertise in modern product design workflows. We love Figma, Protopie, and Dovetail, but we highly value your ability to adapt, utilise emerging AI tools, and introduce us to new DesignOps efficiencies.
• Communication: Exceptional communication and storytelling skills. You can confidently articulate the "why" behind your design decisions to business stakeholders, developers, and fellow designers.
• Domain Knowledge: Experience navigating the unique user trust and friction challenges of fintech, banking, or complex SaaS products is a massive plus, especially with international markets (EUR/US), but not essential.

Account Executive - Outbound Sales 

We’re an ambitious, fast-growth company delivering a disruptive payment solution designed to help merchants reduce costs and improve their customer payment experience. Our platform is built for scale and is already attracting significant interest from mid-cap and enterprise merchants across the UK.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a commercially driven, results-oriented Account Executive with experience selling into mid-cap and enterprise organisations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing complex sales cycles, developing relationships with multiple stakeholders, and identifying internal champions to help navigate and progress deals. 

Key Responsibilities

• Leading outbound sales efforts targeting mid-cap and enterprise merchants with turnover from £5m to £250m+.
• Managing end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and deal closure.
• Identifying key decision-makers and internal champions within target businesses to support deal progression.
• Building and maintaining a strong, qualified pipeline and consistently delivering against revenue targets.
• Working collaboratively with the wider sales, product, and engineering teams to refine value propositions and go-to-market approaches.
• Delivering consultative, solution-based sales conversations focused on operational and financial outcomes for merchants.
• Accurately managing Salesforce, CRM data, pipeline forecasting, and activity reporting.
  
  

Requirements

• A proven track record in B2B sales, coupled with experience selling to mid-cap and enterprise clients — ideally within fintech, SaaS, or payments (or a similar industry focused on operational efficiency / cost-saving solutions).
• Demonstrable experience selling to merchants or payment decision-makers, with a clear understanding of how to identify and develop internal champions and stakeholders within complex organisations.
• Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to articulate business value and ROI propositions.
• Confidence in managing longer, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.Familiarity with value-based selling frameworks such as Meddicc would be desirable.

What you'll be doing:

• Working within the Platform team hardening AWS and Kubernetes perimeters.
• Running vulnerability management across our AWS and Kubernetes estate, and setting the SLAs and processes that keep us on top of it.
• Building and tuning security detections, and writing the runbooks that make security alerts actionable on-call.
• Coordinating external penetration tests and driving remediation of findings to closure.
• Owning identity and secrets across Okta, Vault, and AWS IAM, including SSO/SCIM rollouts and access reviews.
• Owning our InfoSec/PCI DSS programme end-to-end — quarterly reviews, significant change documentation, audit prep, and working directly with our QSA and other partners.

We'd love to hear from you if you have the following:

• Strong AWS security skills (IAM, SCPs, VPC, EKS, ECR, GuardDuty, KMS) and comfort writing and reviewing Terraform yourself.
• Practical experience with at least three of: Datadog (ideally CSM), Cloudflare WAF, Hashicorp Vault, Okta, Kubernetes security, CrowdStrike or equivalent EDR.
• A track record of coordinating external penetration tests — scoping, enablement, and remediation follow-through.
• A bias for automating compliance toil, particularly evidence-gathering for recurring reviews and audits.
• The ability to write runbooks an on-call engineer can actually follow at 03:00.
• Hands-on experience with PCI DSS v4.0 controls in a payments or financial services environment is a plus
