The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sample Management Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our sample inventory, processing sample requests, and ensuring accurate tracking and documentation using Benchling. This role is critical in supporting our research and development efforts through organized sample management. The role is temporary (6 months) and will be full time on-site Monday-Friday.
What You Will Do:
- Manage and maintain the sample inventory, including receipt, labeling, and storage of samples in accordance with company guidelines.
- Utilize Benchling to track and manage sample information, including creating, updating, and archiving sample records.
- Process sample requests from researchers and ensure timely delivery and documentation of samples.
- Collaborate with laboratory teams to maintain accurate records and resolve any discrepancies related to sample data.
- Assist in the implementation of best practices for sample management to improve workflow efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards related to sample handling and storage.
- Participate in data audits and contribute to maintaining the integrity of the sample management system.
- Support additional projects and tasks as needed to further enhance sample management operations.
What You Will Bring:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Experience with sample management, laboratory operations, or inventory management preferred.
- Proficiency in using Benchling or similar laboratory management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
Technical Requirements and Skills:
- Familiarity with Benchling:
- Proficient in using Benchling for sample tracking, data entry, and inventory management.
- Data Entry and Management:
- Strong skills in accurate data entry, maintenance, and management of sample records and databases.
- Sample Tracking and Documentation:
- Understanding of best practices for tracking samples, managing storage conditions, and maintaining documentation.
- Lab Techniques and Protocols:
- Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques relevant to sample handling and processing, such as pipetting, labeling, and storage requirements.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $30 to $40 USD hourly. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including, without limitation, individual education, experience, tenure, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data, including potential adjustments for geographic location.

The Role:
SonoThera is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to serve as a trusted right hand to the CEO and a critical partner in enabling executive effectiveness. This role is central to how the CEO operates day-to-day—owning time management with precision, orchestrating complex schedules and travel, and ensuring flawless execution across internal and external engagements, including board and investor interactions.
The ideal candidate operates with exceptional judgment, discretion, and attention to detail. They are highly proactive and anticipate needs before they arise, seamlessly managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This individual is calm under pressure, communicates with clarity and professionalism, and takes pride in delivering work at an exceptionally high standard. They are deeply reliable, solutions-oriented, and capable of representing the CEO and the company with polish and credibility.
What You Will Do:
- Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, proactively managing priorities, time, and focus to maximize effectiveness
- Own and orchestrate complex calendars for the CEO and select members of the leadership team, ensuring alignment across internal priorities and external commitments
- Coordinate and execute domestic and international travel with precision, including detailed itineraries and seamless logistics
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of meetings and events, including executive staff meetings, board meetings, investor interactions, and key internal forums
- Anticipate needs and ensure the CEO and leadership team are well-prepared for all meetings and commitments
- Track key action items and follow through to ensure timely execution across leadership priorities
- Facilitate coordination across teams to support effective communication and execution
- Provide high-impact administrative and operational support on special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience providing high-level executive support in a fastpaced,
high-performance environment - Proven experience supporting C-level executives, ideally in a startup, biotech, or life sciences
setting - Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple,
competing demands with precision and efficiency - Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, exercise sound judgment, and operate with a high
degree of autonomy - Strong execution skills with the flexibility to adapt quickly in a dynamic, evolving environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and
attention to detail - High degree of discretion, integrity, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Resourceful, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational
excellence - Collaborative team player with a positive, polished, and professional presence
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting board meetings and investor communications
- Prior experience in a high-growth or venture-backed company
- Notary Public certification
