Who We Are:
SmithRx is a rapidly growing, venture-backed Health-Tech company. Our mission is to disrupt the expensive and inefficient Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) sector by building a next-generation drug acquisition platform driven by cutting edge technology, innovative cost saving tools, and best-in-class customer service. With hundreds of thousands of members onboarded since 2016, SmithRx has a solution that is resonating with clients all across the country.
We pride ourselves for our mission-driven and collaborative culture that inspires our employees to do their best work. We believe that the U.S healthcare system is in need of transformation, and we come to work each day dedicated to making that change a reality. At our core, we are guided by our company values:
Job Summary:
You are the source of truth for member data on the MCSS (Member Communications Shared Services) team. While the Marketing Operations Manager owns the pipes that deliver communications, you own what flows through them — the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of every member list. You are responsible for sourcing, validating, and preparing member data drawn from many internal systems, ensuring that every letter, email, and text we send reaches the right member with the right information.
At SmithRx, data integrity is a legal requirement — not a best practice. Our member communications are heavily regulated and compliance-driven, and this role works directly with Protected Health Information (PHI). A single bad record isn't a minor error; it's a risk to our members and our business. You will report directly to the Member Comms Team Lead and maintain a dotted-line relationship with our centralized Data team — contributing to shared Snowflake data models, aligning with enterprise data standards, and coordinating on upstream changes that affect member communications. Over time, high performers in this role will have the opportunity to expand their scope beyond member communications into broader marketing analytics.

Job Summary:
You are the "Engine Room" of the MCSS (Member Communications Shared Services) team. In this role, your primary customer isn't the member—it's the data. You are responsible for the technical plumbing that connects our internal member database to our delivery platforms (email, SMS, and physical print houses), as well as the day-to-day execution of the communications flowing through those pipes.
At SmithRx, data integrity is a legal requirement. You will collaborate with the internal business systems and data teams to manage the tools, APIs, and data pipelines that ensure 100% accuracy in member personalization, while actively building, testing, and deploying the campaigns that reach our members.

Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Member Communications is the owner and architect of SmithRx’s unified communications with members.
