We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join our team supporting our external data products. In this position, you will be reporting into our Head of Analytics and partnering closely with engineering, product, and implementation teams to build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers our products. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design and maintain data pipelines, create dashboards, and work directly with stakeholders to deliver insights that drive business outcomes.

What you’ll do
- Own end-to-end implementations for the data products for our external customers.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics models using Python, DBT, and SQL.
- Create and manage dashboards in our external and internal analytics products so stakeholders have actionable insights.
- Prototype new data products to add to our product suite.
- Collaborate with engineering to drive the roadmap for the data products.
- Use GitHub-based workflows to maintain clean, version-controlled analytics code.
- Act as a subject matter expert for analytics best practices.
You should have
- 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Proven expertise DBT, SQL, and GitHub-based development. Python is a plus.
- Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and models.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, working with technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience working with asset managers, business owners, or financial services data sets is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of DataOS. DataOS is the operating system for data and documents in asset-backed lending, a $5 trillion market ripe for modernization. Our platform helps standardize, verify, and store critical data and documents in a central repository serving both borrowers and lenders.
As a Data Engineer, you will own end-to-end development of high-impact features across the stack, from design through launch. You’ll work on client-facing, mission-critical functionality, including AI-driven features that accelerate document review and streamline data verification.

What You’ll Do
- Own full-stack features end-to-end: from design to deployment, ensuring they solve customer needs and drive business value.
- Build systems that streamline the parsing, standardization, and movement of complex financial data.
- Deliver client-facing and high-impact features, including responsible use of AI/LLM technologies to automate workflows while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Leadership to shape our roadmap, working directly with your Tech Lead and having access to the C-Suite.
- Invest in developer experience: build and refine dev tools that keep the team productive and velocity high.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to clarify scope, validate client expectations, and ensure impactful delivery.
You Should Have
- 5+ years of Data or Full Stack Software Engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering production systems.
- Expertise in our modern tech stack: Python/Flask, TypeScript/React, Tailwind CSS, Data Warehouses, and tools for data and AI.
- Experience participating in a rotating on-call shift, with the ability to investigate, triage, and resolve immediate production issues.
- A strong ownership mindset – you take responsibility for initiatives and see them through to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype and iterate based on tight feedback loops.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, high-autonomy environments while driving clarity and progress.
- Curiosity and practical experience with AI and LLM technologies, with a focus on their responsible use in production systems.
- Excellent communication skills – you ask the right questions, align stakeholders, and make complex ideas clear.
- A collaborative approach – you work effectively with teammates, welcome feedback, and contribute to team success.
- Strong Database/Data Warehouse experience a plus.
