What are we looking to add to our team?

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Sr. HR Generalist who genuinely loves the operational side of HR and wants to own it. You’ll be the engine behind our day-to-day people operations, serve as the go-to resource for employees and managers, and partner closely with our Head of HR.

Our People team is small but mighty, and we take pride in doing great work with a bit of levity. We use AI tools including Claude as part of our everyday workflow and are always looking for smarter, more efficient ways to operate. If you’re curious about how AI can make your work better, you’ll fit right in. You’ll also be working alongside a People Operations Coordinator who handles a wide range of day-to-day tasks. A big part of your role is being a close partner and resource to them, sharing context, providing guidance, and helping them grow.

You’ll be joining at an exciting moment in SeekOut’s story, with strong systems already in place and a clear mandate: keep operations running smoothly, raise the bar on accuracy and follow-through, and help us scale thoughtfully as we grow. This role is located in Bellevue, WA with two in-office days per week.

What you will be doing:

People Operations

• Own and optimize our HRIS (Rippling), ensuring data accuracy, clean processes, and proactive system improvements.
• Manage payroll file preparation, employee changes (title updates, manager changes, new hires, terminations), and compliance tracking.
• Serve as the team’s go-to for HR tools including Rippling, Greenhouse, Jira/Asana and more.
• Oversee our new hire equity tracker, ensuring it is accurate, current, and properly maintained.
• Look for automation opportunities to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
• Maintain HR SOPs, employee resources (Guru), and internal documentation.

Onboarding and Offboarding

• Own New Hire Orientation end-to-end, delivering a polished and welcoming experience for every new SeekOtter.
• Partner proactively with hiring managers ahead of each start date to ensure they are prepared, equipped, and engaged in their new hire’s first days. Timely coordination here is non-negotiable.
• Manage offboarding logistics including exit interviews, systems access, and final paperwork.
• Keep onboarding and offboarding processes current, well-documented, and consistently executed.

Employee Support

• Be the first point of contact for employee questions on benefits, policies, and general HR matters.
• Build relationships with managers and proactively support their people needs.
• Partner with HR leadership on annual programs including compensation cycles, benefits renewal, and engagement surveys.
• Support leaves of absence, return-to-work coordination, and accommodations.

Immigration

• Serve as the day-to-day conduit between employees, managers, and our immigration attorneys.
• Coordinate visa sponsorship processes (H-1B, PERM) and ensure timely follow- through on filings and deadlines.
• Maintain immigration files and track work authorization statuses across the employee population.

Performance Management

• Help administer our performance review cycles, including setup, communications, reporting, and manager support.
• Track completion, surface gaps, and keep the process running on time.
• Support compensation analysis and market reviews as part of our annual comp cycle.

Project Management

• Use Asana to plan, track, and manage People team initiatives from kickoff to completion.
• Keep projects organized with clear owners, deadlines, and status updates so the team always knows where things stand.
• Bring a structured, methodical approach to recurring programs (open enrollment, comp cycle, review seasons) so they run smoothly year over year.

You will be a great match if you:

• Bring 3-4 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in a generalist or operations role, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment.
• Bring solid knowledge of employment laws, compliance basics, and HR best practices. You are someone who likes to stay up to date on employment laws & changes.
• Are genuinely energized by operational work and take pride in accuracy and follow-through.
• Have hands-on experience with HRIS and people systems (extra points for Rippling, Greenhouse, or Tilt).
• Are comfortable using project management tools like Asana to keep work organized and on track.
• Are curious about AI and open to using tools like Claude as part of your everyday workflow.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism. In this role you will regularly work with compensation data, personal employee information, and immigration records. Trustworthiness is non-negotiable.
• Have a basic working knowledge of immigration in a tech company context (H-1B, PERM) and are comfortable being the liaison with outside counsel.
• Are a natural collaborator who enjoys sharing knowledge and helping others level up.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000

What are we looking to add to our team? 

A Senior Responsible AI Manager who will sit at the intersection of AI technology and legal/regulatory requirements. We are looking for a technically skilled professional who can build responsible AI frameworks, develop governance tooling, create enablement materials, and help SeekOut stay ahead of the rapidly evolving AI regulatory landscape. You will work closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams to ensure SeekOut’s AI solutions are developed and deployed responsibly, and that customers have the documentation and confidence they need.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Design, build, and maintain SeekOut’s responsible AI framework, including bias testing protocols, model documentation (model cards), fairness metrics, and audit trails.
• Own the Warden AI audit platform: configure dashboards, generate compliance reports, and build enablement materials for internal and customer-facing use.
• Develop customer-facing AI governance materials: transparency reports, explainability documentation, compliance guides, and trust center content.
• Monitor the evolving AI regulatory landscape (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, state-level AI hiring laws, EEOC guidance) and translate requirements into actionable engineering and product specifications.
• Build internal enablement materials and training for Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams on responsible AI, regulatory requirements, and how to discuss these topics with customers.
• Partner with Engineering to implement technical controls for bias detection, adverse impact testing, and algorithmic auditing in SeekOut’s AI-driven talent products.
• Create and maintain a compliance tooling roadmap—identifying where automation and tooling can reduce manual legal/compliance overhead.
• Support customer-facing conversations around AI ethics, bias mitigation, and compliance, including RFP responses, security reviews, and customer audits.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Security teams on data governance as it relates to AI model training and inference.
• Contribute to SeekOut’s thought leadership on responsible AI in HR technology through blog posts, white papers, and conference presentations.
• Use AI-native workflows to automate regulatory monitoring, generate compliance documentation, and build scalable enablement content—SeekOut expects this role to be a model for how AI amplifies individual impact.
• Develop and deploy AI-powered tools for bias audit automation, regulatory change tracking, and customer trust reporting—continuously expanding what one person can accomplish through intelligent tooling.

What  you'll bring to the team: 

• 3–7 years of experience in AI governance, responsible AI, AI ethics, compliance engineering, or a related technical role.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts (supervised learning, NLP, bias metrics, fairness constraints) with the ability to work directly with engineering teams.
• Familiarity with AI regulatory frameworks: EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, NYC Local Law 144, Illinois AIPA, EEOC guidance on AI in hiring.
• Experience with AI audit and bias testing platforms (e.g., Warden, FairNow, or similar tools).
• Experience developing model documentation, algorithmic impact assessments, or bias audit methodologies.
• Excellent customer-facing communication skills—ability to translate complex AI and regulatory concepts into clear, confident conversations with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders. Strong written communication skills for governance documentation, with the expectation that AI tools will be leveraged to accelerate content creation.
• Experience in HR technology, talent acquisition, or workforce analytics is a strong plus.
• Comfort using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot) to build audit tools, bias testing scripts, and compliance automation—deep programming expertise is not required, but the ability to direct and validate AI-generated code is essential.
• Experience with AI explainability tools and fairness toolkits is a plus.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) as they intersect with AI systems.
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity—comfortable building a function from scratch in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Deep personal fluency with generative AI tools and a track record of using AI to multiply your own output; you don’t just understand AI—you live it.

Success Metrics (What “Great” Looks Like)

• Comprehensive responsible AI framework documented and adopted across Product and Engineering within first 6 months.
• Warden platform fully operational with automated reporting dashboards and customer-ready enablement materials.
• Customer-facing governance materials that measurably improve win rates in compliance-sensitive deals.
• Proactive identification and resolution of regulatory risks before they become customer or market issues.
• Internal teams report high confidence in discussing AI governance with customers and prospects.
• Reduction in time spent on ad hoc compliance requests through tooling and automation.

Base Salary Hiring Range: $140,000 - $215,000 per year

About the Role: 

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Advisor to join our internal recruiting agency team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their recruiting or talent operations career who is eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with experienced recruiters and hiring managers, supporting key recruiting processes while building your skills and expertise. 

This is a client-facing role, but you won’t be alone—you’ll be supported by senior team members who will guide and mentor you as you grow. 

What You’ll Do: 

•  Screen candidates to assess qualifications and ensure alignment with client needs before advancing them in the hiring process. 
•  Support external client stakeholders and hiring managers by coordinating recruiting activities and ensuring alignment on candidate profiles, timelines, and expectations. 
•  Assist with day-to-day communication between clients and our internal teams to ensure smooth collaboration. 
•  Help manage candidate pipelines by tracking progress, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. 
•  Collaborate with senior Talent Advisors to understand hiring needs and contribute to recruiting strategies. 
•  Provide feedback on our recruiting platform, Spot, to help improve tools and workflows. 
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and project planning to support continuous learning and team success.
