Schrödinger, a leader in computational chemistry software and services for materials science and drug discovery, is seeking an ambitious, highly driven, and goal-oriented Sales Development Representative to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.

As a member of the Sales Team you’ll identify, qualify, and develop new software and services leads within a variety of industries (e.g. electronics, industrials, chemicals, pharmaceuticals). Your prospects will include scientists, engineers, departmental management, and senior R&D executives. Additionally, you’ll interact closely with our Marketing, Applications Science, Product Management, Account Management, and senior leadership teams.

What you’ll do:

Generate and qualify new business leads by researching prospects, conducting outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, social media)

Execute 50-100 activities per day (combination of cold outreach)
Generate a minimum of two sales accepted leads per week (eight per month)

Collect and collate lead data from sales campaigns
Drive top-of-funnel activities like prospecting, lead generation, qualification, and pipeline management
Build initial relationships and educate prospects about the company's value proposition.
Manage a pipeline of interested prospects and record all activities in the CRM system to track account activities and progress
Work closely with marketing (for lead quality) and Global Portfolio Leaders (GPLs) (for handoff) to align efforts and grow the sales pipeline, acting as a crucial bridge between marketing and sales.
Schedule discovery calls or product demos at conferences and tradeshows.
Research addressable market segments for Schrödinger’s software product and service offerings
Expand your knowledge of the industry and the competitive position of the company

What you should have:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or a related science
One to two years of relevant work experience in the software or services industry is preferred

Estimated base salary range: $65,000 - $85,000. Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs. Schrödinger seeks a Global Portfolio Leader to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.

As a leader on our Sales team, you will be the primary strategic architect for our small molecule modeling software Portfolio, ensuring that the Portfolio drives value across global pharmaceutical and biotechnology pipelines. This role involves partnering with R&D leadership to embed our software into their scientific workflows, demonstrating the value of running the Schrödinger Platform at scale. You’ll be a bridge between our customers' scientific goals and Schrödinger’s internal product and drug discovery teams.

What you’ll do:

Design and implement comprehensive Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for new software modules and platform updates within your portfolio; collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to define value propositions, identify high-potential user segments, and create roadmaps for successful product integration across global R&D sites
Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders across a global portfolio; develop and execute multi-year account strategies that align our computational capabilities with clients’ therapeutic areas
Identify opportunities for the expansion of the assigned product portfolio; work closely with Scientific Lead teams to ensure high-impact software adoption
Manage the full lifecycle of global renewals and expansions; ensure a predictable revenue stream by maintaining high satisfaction levels and demonstrating clear ROI on computational spend
Orchestrate internal resources, including Account Managers, Education Specialists, and Application Scientists, to deliver a unified and elite experience for global accounts
Act as a "voice of the customer" to our Product Management and Executive teams, providing feedback on market trends and competitor movements within the drug discovery space

What you should have:

At least seven years of account management, strategic consulting, or business development experience in the life science or SaaS sectors
MSc or PhD in Computational Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or a related field highly preferred but not required

As a member of our Enterprise Informatics team, you’ll play a vital role in all stages of the Schrödinger Platform deployment for customers, from initial project scoping through to long term successful adoption. By serving as the bi-directional voice for these customers, you’ll also help drive future product development strategy.

Help drive the product roadmap and development by working closely with product management and engineering, representing real-world customer needs

What you should have:

B.Sc. in a life science (M.Sc. or Ph.D. preferred)
At least three years of experience in a life sciences field related to drug discovery
Experience with computational chemistry or cheminformatics in a research setting
