With our automation framework already established, we need an experienced engineer who can take a feature from a user story to a fully automated suite. This role requires a strong focus on GraphQL API testing, manual test design, and UI automation using TypeScript and Playwright.
Due to the highly collaborative and internationally distributed nature of our work, successful candidates must be comfortable operating in small teams while contributing to larger, globally coordinated efforts. A strong sense of ownership, self-motivation and discipline in maintaining clear and consistent communication through virtual collaboration tools and video conferencing is essential.

In Rwanda, hundreds of clinics have already been digitized, transforming rural facilities into next-generation health centers that are redefining care in Africa. As a Solution Manager you will work closely with the Ministry of Health (MoH) and our health system clients. You will be the strategic and operational anchor for all in-country activities—from managing the intelligence center launch to driving partnerships with Ministries of Health. You’ll wear two hats: country representative and solutions champion.
Our ideal candidate for this role is customer-obsessed, deeply curious, and adaptable in a dynamic environment. We’re looking for someone who will help define and scale our healthcare solutions as we continue to grow and expand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own & drive the product backlog, and manage the configuration, testing, and rollout of products and solutions at rural health Facilities and Intelligence Centers &
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in health IT, EMR systems, or digital health delivery—ideally in low-resource settings.

This is not an idea — it’s already happening, and the momentum is accelerating. But healthcare is only one example; Sand is growing in various industries, namely water, energy, and telecommunications.
But healthcare is only one example. As Country Director, you will serve as Sand’s senior representative in the country, overseeing all operations and partnerships. You will engage at the highest levels of government, align Sand’s solutions with national priorities, and ensure the successful adoption and sustainability of our products—whether in healthcare, water, energy, telecommunications, or other sectors where Sand operates.
This role requires a leader who can build trust, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and position Sand as a long-term partner to governments in delivering innovation that drives impact at scale.
This is a hybrid role with significant in-person requirements. While some responsibilities can be performed remotely, the role demands regular presence on the ground to build relationships, oversee implementation, and represent Sand with local stakeholders. Due to the considerable amount of virtual work and interaction with colleagues and customers in different physical locations internationally, it is essential that the successful applicant has the drive and ethic to succeed in working in small teams physically but in larger efforts virtually. Self-drive to communicate constantly using online collaboration and video conferencing is essential.

Apply to Sand Tech Holdings LimitedAre you experienced working with Tier 1 telecom operators (MNOs, FiberCos, CableCos) on complex data and analytics challenges? Do you enjoy shaping opportunities before they exist, working closely with technology executives and engineers, and translating strategy into deployable solutions? Are you motivated by bringing AI/ML into real-world network planning, optimization, and operational decision-making?
This role sits at the intersection of customer engagement, solution shaping, and AI/ML deployment.
This role involves regular client and partner meetings in Dallas, New Jersey, Seattle, or Denver, so being local to any of these areas is a strong plus.
Sand Technologies is a global Physical AI company using data and AI to make critical industries work better. We partner with governments, cities and enterprises to improve how essential systems operate across healthcare, water, energy, telecommunications and infrastructure.

Our mission is simple: to harness AI to solve humanity’s most pressing challenges.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead growth and target account development across the assigned telecom accounts in the United States.
This is not a traditional enterprise sales role in a slow-moving environment. You will move fast and work closely with Forward-Deployed Engineers to identify high-impact telco infrastructure challenges, shape deployable AI/ML-driven digital twin opportunities, and build long-term partnerships - from pre-commercial prototypes to production deployments and commercialization.
You will engage stakeholders across strategy functions, the C-suite, CTO organizations, RAN and access network teams, OSP planning and engineering groups, and data & AI leadership to translate priorities into scalable solutions using Sand’s Physical AI platform (SandOS) and Digital Twin solution accelerators.
Typical engagements start with discovery sessions and focused pilots, then expand into multi-year AI/ML deployments supporting infrastructure planning, rollout optimization, network automation and performance optimization.
In partnership with Sand’s leadership, develop and execute strategies to grow presence and wallet share within key accounts (mainly Tier 1 MNOs, but also FiberCos, and CableCos).
Leverage prior experience working with one or more of these accounts—such as T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Charter, Comcast, or Cox—to drive business development.
Work with hyperscaler partners (e.g., leading cloud providers, NVIDIA, and others) as part of the AWS-NVIDIA Telco IA fellowship program and beyond, supporting telco-focused initiatives and driving co-selling motions, pipeline development, and joint sales engagement with key ecosystem partners.
Lead cross-functional collaboration across product management, forward-deployed engineering, delivery, and infra engineering teams to shape opportunities and guide engagements end-to-end - from initial client contact, problem definition, and qualification through deal structuring, procurement, and close.
Build strong familiarity with the SandOS platform, network digital twin, and telco AI/ML models and agents, and apply them to real-world use cases such as network performance optimization, intervention strategy simulation, decision-layer enablement, and orchestration solutions.
Develop detailed customer profiles by identifying key stakeholders (e.g., C-suite, Strategy, Data & AI, RAN planning, RAN engineering, and O&M) and tailoring approaches to address their specific needs.
Operate effectively in a fast-paced, technical environment, with a solid understanding of data and AI fundamentals (relevant certifications are a plus).
Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers and Product to identify and leverage relevant datasets through deep engagement with customer workflows and challenges.
Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and build relationships with potential customers
Provide regular feedback to the management team on market developments, opportunities, and threats
5-7 years of experience working with telecom operators in enterprise business development, infrastructure partnerships, strategy, or technical solution environments
Strong familiarity with U.S. telecom operator structures and decision-making environments across CTO, planning, engineering, and data & AI organisations
Demonstrated experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple technical and executive stakeholders
Ability to operate credibly in technical discussions involving AI-enabled decision systems or automation and data platforms.
Experience working alongside engineering or delivery teams in solution-oriented customer environments
Strong stakeholder mapping and relationship-building skills across large, matrixed organisations
Comfort engaging both executive and technical audiences in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Existing network within Tier-1 or Tier-2 telecom operators in the United States
Strong analytical and data-driven approach to sales
Ability to travel regularly (20~30% of the time) to meet customers and attend industry events
Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field
Due to the highly collaborative and internationally distributed nature of our work, successful candidates must be comfortable operating in small teams while contributing to larger, globally coordinated efforts. A strong sense of ownership, self-motivation and discipline in maintaining clear and consistent communication through virtual collaboration tools and video conferencing is essential.

In Rwanda, hundreds of clinics have already been digitized, transforming rural facilities into next-generation health centers that are redefining care in Africa. Sand’s groundbreaking HOS integrates data and services to drive better outcomes - from maternal health to chronic disease management - already reaching more than 1 million patients. Designed for digital empowerment, the HOS equips thousands of frontline health workers with the tools and support they need to magnify their impact and strengthen community health.
The HOS is already operational across multiple countries, with plans to expand to 16 countries by the end of 2026, led by our Country Directors.
This is not an idea — it’s already happening, and the momentum is accelerating. But healthcare is only one example; Sand is growing in various industries, namely water, energy, and telecommunications.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with significant in-person requirements. While some responsibilities can be performed remotely, the role demands regular presence on the ground to build relationships, oversee implementation, and liaise with local stakeholders. At the same time, given the high degree of virtual collaboration with colleagues and partners across multiple geographies, the successful candidate must be highly self-driven, comfortable working in small in-person teams while contributing to larger efforts virtually, and disciplined in using online collaboration tools and video conferencing to maintain constant communication.

Sand is scaling rapidly across Africa, partnering with Ministries of Health to deploy the Health Operating System (HOS) — a decision-support and execution platform that transforms how health systems sense, analyze, and act on data. The HOS is already operational across multiple countries, with plans to expand to 15 countries by end of 2026, supported by 80+ Forward Deployed Engineers.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you are the technical spearhead of our client engagement in Zambia. Unlike our roaming FDE roles, this is a permanently embedded position. You will be based full-time within the Ministry of Health in Zambia, becoming a long-term extension of the client's operational team. Your mandate is to build deep institutional relationships, develop comprehensive understanding of the national health system, and deliver sustained value over an extended engagement — not just rapid sprints, but lasting transformation.
This is not staff augmentation. You are an amalgamation of three roles:
Your primary mission is to prove our value fast, delivering functional solutions rapidly using Sand's products, playbooks, and tools, and then maturing those solutions into mission-critical infrastructure that the Ministry depends on daily. Over time, you become the institutional memory of the deployment — the person who understands the data landscape, the stakeholder dynamics, and the operational realities better than anyone.
The Forward Deployed Engineer is a highly ambitious individual. You are someone who is deeply keen on learning — someone who dives in headfirst to solve some of the hardest, most complex problems in global health. You thrive on understanding the technology, understanding the stakeholders, understanding our product suite, and weaving all three together to deliver solutions that change how health systems operate.
This role is not for someone looking for comfort or routine. It is for someone who wants to step outside of their comfort zone, build something they can be proud of, and grow faster than they thought possible. The FDE programme is a career accelerator — an intensive rotation that exposes you to technical depth, strategic thinking, and client leadership in equal measure, all while working on problems that matter for millions of people.
For this permanently embedded role, you also need the maturity and resilience to sustain deep client relationships over months and years — not just weeks. You will become the face of Sand in Malawi, and that requires patience, cultural fluency, and the ability to navigate institutional complexity while maintaining momentum.
This is a permanently embedded role. You will work on-site at the Ministry of Health in Zambia 4 days per week, with 1 day for focused remote work, internal collaboration, and knowledge sharing with the broader FDE community. You should expect to be based in Zambia for a minimum of 12-24 months.
You must be self-driven, comfortable operating as Sand's primary technical representative in-country, and disciplined with online collaboration tools to stay connected with the broader Sand team across geographies. Cultural sensitivity, adaptability, and genuine interest in the local context are essential — you are not passing through, you are putting down roots.

You will become the face of Sand in Nigeria, and that requires patience, cultural fluency, and the ability to navigate institutional complexity while maintaining momentum.
This is a permanently embedded role. You will work on-site at the Ministry of Health in Nigeria 4 days per week, with 1 day for focused remote work, internal collaboration, and knowledge sharing with the broader FDE community. You should expect to be based in Nigeria for a minimum of 12-24 months.

Apply to Sand Tech Holdings LimitedSand Technologies is a fast-growing enterprise AI Product led company that solves real-world problems for large blue-chip companies and governments worldwide.
We’re pioneers of meaningful AI: our solutions go far beyond chatbots. We are using data and AI to solve the world’s biggest issues in telecommunications, sustainable water management, energy, healthcare, climate change, smart cities, and other areas that have a real impact on the world. For example, our AI systems help to manage the water supply for the entire city of London. We created the AI algorithms that enabled the 7th largest telecommunications company in the world to plan its network in 300 cities in record time. And we built a digital healthcare system that enables 30m people in a country to get world-class healthcare despite a shortage of doctors.
We’ve grown our revenues by over 500% in the last 12 months while winning prestigious scientific and industry awards for our cutting-edge technology. Our success is supported by about 300 engineers and scientists working across Africa, Europe, the UK, and the US.
Sand is seeking a Global Product Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategy and execution across all regions and industries. This role owns global product marketing, brand execution, and marketing operations, managing a central marketing team and working closely with sales, partnerships, product, and engineering to translate Sand’s platform capabilities into clear narratives, campaigns, and market presence that support both direct client revenue and partner-enabled growth.
This is a hybrid role with significant in-person requirements. While some responsibilities can be performed remotely, the role demands regular presence on the ground to build relationships, oversee implementation, and represent Sand with local stakeholders.

Sand is expanding across Africa and beyond, partnering with governments and public sector officials to deliver transformative AI and data solutions. Our flagship healthcare initiative - the Health Operating System (HOS) - is already live. In Rwanda, hundreds of clinics have already been digitized, transforming rural facilities into next-generation health centers that are redefining care in Africa. Sand’s groundbreaking HOS data products, and clinical systems to drive better outcomes - from maternal health to chronic disease management - are already reaching more than 1 million patients. Designed for digital empowerment, the HOS equips thousands of frontline health workers with the tools and support they need to magnify their impact and strengthen community health.
Now, we are scaling rapidly. By the end of 2025, our HOS will be operational in 10 countries, and by 2026, we plan to expand even further across the continent. This is not an idea — it’s already happening, and the momentum is accelerating. But healthcare is only one example; Sand is growing in various industries, namely water, energy, and telecommunications.
As an in-country Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end deployment, integration, and performance of Sand’s technology systems across healthcare, water, energy, or telecommunications. This includes ensuring seamless data capture, exchange, and governance between government systems and Sand’s platforms.
This role is both strategic and hands-on - requiring a strong technical foundation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate system performance into real-world healthcare impact. Beyond deployment, you will play a key role in engaging with ministries and IT teams to ensure access to systems, alignment on data-sharing agreements, and adherence to national data standards. Your understanding of data management processes - from data capture workflows to interoperability and quality assurance - will be crucial to enabling reliable reporting, analytics, and decision-making at national scale.

Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) are Sand’s frontline inside our most strategic customers; embedding directly within client teams to unlock data, building lightweight production solutions, and compressing time-to-value from months to weeks. This is not staff augmentation. This is a value-engineering role: hands-on, deeply technical, fast, and focused on proving ROI in real operational environments.
As an FDE, you will sit inside one of our US industries—Energy, Utilities, or Public Sector—and be deployed full-time on-site with a client. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with operators, engineers, analysts, and executives to identify opportunities, access and shape data, prove value through rapid prototyping, and deploy solutions that drive measurable financial and operational outcomes.
Your work directly shapes commercial expansion, platform evolution, and the credibility of Sand in the most complex asset-heavy environments.
This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer or scientist who thrives in ambiguity, loves solving real-world problems in the field, and has the communication and resilience needed to earn trust inside demanding customer environments.
FDEs are the spearhead of Sand Technologies’ expansion in the US. They compress time-to-value, generate trust, and turn initial projects into multi-year strategic partnerships. Their insights directly shape the roadmap of our Industry Operating Systems and Co-Pilot Suites.
If you want to work on the frontier of enterprise AI—inside the most complex operational environments in the world—this is the role.
Due to the considerable amount of virtual work and interaction with colleagues and customers in different physical locations internationally, it is essential that the successful applicant has the drive and ethic to succeed in working in small teams physically but in larger efforts virtually. Apply to Sand Tech Holdings LimitedSand Technologies is a fast-growing enterprise AI company that solves real-world problems for large blue-chip companies and governments worldwide.
