Job Summary:
As Ruggable's Maintenance & Safety Manager, you will oversee facility maintenance operations and environmental health and safety programs at our Vaughn location.
This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, maintaining a safe working environment, and leading maintenance strategies that support operational efficiency. You will work cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams to improve maintenance programs, strengthen safety practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
What You’ll Do:
- Functional Leadership - Provide overall leadership for the maintenance function in Toronto. Own maintenance strategies, plans, and budgets. Develop and lead the maintenance team through hiring, training, and skills development aligned with network standards. Evaluate maintenance technicians to identify performance improvement opportunities and develop targeted development plans
- Safety - Provide overall site EHS leadership, including strategy development, policies, procedures, risk assessments, root cause analysis, and incident reporting. Maintain training programs and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and local safety regulations including CCOHS and WSIB requirements
- Program Leadership - Lead the maturation and refinement of preventive maintenance programs and the effective use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Equipment / Asset Management - Maintain adequate inventory of operations equipment and order items as necessary, managing overall budget
- Continuous Improvement - Use maintenance data, CMMS reporting, and operational KPIs to identify trends and implement improvement initiatives that increase equipment uptime and reliability
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- 5+ Years experience in Maintenance and/or Environmental Health and Safety
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board)
- Strong understanding of industrial maintenance systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and facility infrastructure
- Knowledge of CCOHS regulations, hazard recognition, record keeping and incident management skills
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Experience applying Continuous Improvement, Lean, and Six Sigma principles to drive improvement
Preferred:
- Previous experience managing plant maintenance team(s)
- Experience implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- NEBOSH Certification (or equivalent)
- JHSC Certified
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
Compensation:
- 100,000 - 120,000 CAD per year base salary
- An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
- Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored Group RRSP plan

Job Summary:
Ruggable is hiring a Print Supervisor to join our team. In this role you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of Ruggable. The Supervisor will manage print room responsibilities and are responsible for the safety and productivity of the operators. Supervisors are accountable for ensuring that production is executed in a timely manner, within all quality parameters, and for participation in both the hiring and performance management processes. The Supervisors along with the Print Manager are responsible for driving continuous improvement and optimization of printing processes.
Shift: 4 x 10's, 6:30am - 5pm, Friday & Saturday + two week day shifts
What You’ll Do:
- Become an expert of the printing process and oversee all aspects of rug printing
- Create daily plans and schedules for the print team in alignment with the plant and customer needs
- Troubleshoot and problem solve printer issues alongside the maintenance, ops tech, and IT teams
- Train, coach, and develop team members
- Manage the attendance, interpersonal, and performance related elements of your team
- Embody the Ruggable Values, setting a positive example to your team
- Innovate, implement, and sustain improvement ideas
What You’ll Need to Have:
Required:
- Strong interpersonal skills
- English & Spanish fluency
- Experience leading a team
- Experience resolving problems/conflict including disciplinary practices, performance management, appraisals
- Ability to create and work in collaborative group environments
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong IT skills, including being proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Suite
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of experience in the manufacturing field with supervisory experience
- 1+ years working with RIP software
Compensation:
- $60,000 - $70,000 per year base salary
- An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role

Job Summary:
Ruggable is looking for Maintenance Technicians who are responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment and facility systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime and ensure consistent production output.
Experience supporting digital printing systems is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience maintaining large-format printers, CNC equipment, automated sewing machinery, or similar industrial systems are encouraged to apply. This position may be filled at a mid-level or senior level depending on experience and technical capability.
What You'll Do:
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform preventative maintenance on digital textile printers, CNC cutting systems, sewing machines, compressors, and related production equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical (including 3-phase power), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot equipment failures to identify root causes and restore operations quickly
- Conduct operational testing and calibration to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Support installation, modification, and improvement of new and existing machinery
Facility Systems Support
- Maintain compressed air systems, HVAC filtration, lighting, and other facility infrastructure
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Utilize CMMS software (e.g., UpKeep) to track work orders and preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain spare parts inventory and support monthly counts
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow and enforce all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout protocols
Senior-level technicians may also:
- Lead complex diagnostics and equipment troubleshooting
- Mentor and train junior technicians
- Support reliability initiatives and downtime reduction strategies
Digital Printing Maintenance (Preferred Experience)
- Support maintenance and troubleshooting of large-format digital printing systems
- Perform print head maintenance, monitor ink delivery systems, and maintain tension systems
- Partner with production teams to reduce recurring print-related downtime
What You'll Need to Have:
Required:
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- 5+ years preferred for senior-level consideration
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a moderate-to-loud manufacturing environment
- Occasional exposure to equipment vibration
Preferred:
- Experience with 3-phase electrical systems and motor controls
- Digital printing equipment maintenance experience
- Familiarity with CNC equipment, automated machinery, or textile manufacturing environments
- Experience using CMMS systems such as UpKeep
- High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift Certification
- Elevated Platform / Scissor Lift Certification
- Lockout/Tagout Training
- First Aid & CPR
- Experience with Zund cutting systems or industrial sewing equipment
Details:
- $25.00 - $28.00/hr
- 3 Shifts Available:
- A Shift (M-Th, 6:30 AM to 5 PM)
- B Shift (M-Th, 4 PM to 2:30 AM / 5 PM to 3:30 AM)
- C Shift (Fri, Sat, Sun - 5 AM to 5:30 PM)
