GTM Technology Lead - India
RubrikX is our high-velocity product incubation team, focused on driving adoption and market share for our newest and most innovative cybersecurity and data resilience solutions. This is a pure "hunter" role for a motivated specialist who thrives on introducing disruptive technology to new customers.
Specialist functions within RubrikX are an important function in the India organization. The RubrikX Sales Engineer / Technology lead is a key sales specialist role, supporting the broader sales organization with deep industry & technical knowledge in a focus area like Identity and AI resiliency. This means working with customers and prospects to educate them on how Rubrik protects and manages data. Additionally, this position will have an active role in providing real world feedback to product teams to enhance the product, driving new features before they are released, and helping educate the sales organization on key components of their focus area technology. The role provides both immediate and long term impact with their technical & industry knowledge and will be in a position of influence with prospects and customers. In time, this position has the potential to expand and take on teams focused on other technical specialisms.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide technical & industry guidance in customer calls as required, both in person and remote.
- Working closely with AE and SE counterparts
- Assist with technical implementations and POC’s of the new products.
- Be a key resource for Marketing. Writing thought-leadership pieces and speaking / presenting at conferences as needed.
- Creating and giving presentations on focus area specific knowledge to internal team members.
- Work with product management and engineering to discover and address product gaps, providing real world knowledge on product use.
- Understand what Cybersecurity regulations mean for our customers.
- Work to create C-level relationships with customers and look to become a trusted advisor.
- Attend internal meetings and events as required, both in person and remote. You can expect approximately 50% travel for on site meetings and events.
Experience:
- A solid understanding of backups, high availability, cybersecurity and disaster recovery architectures for their focus area.
- Ideally Scripting experience in a relevant language (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
- Ability to self manage time and projects.
- Community activity and involvement.
- Ability and experience giving technical presentations.
- Strong track record of performance selling to small to large Enterprise accounts
- Entrepreneurial spirit, as you are continually working on bringing new products to market
- Naturally curious with the competency to learn new solutions quickly
- Tenacious with natural drive and grit to get things done
- Understanding and experience working with an partner ecosystem Highly driven, goal oriented “get it done” attitude

The Technical Product Manager at Rubrik, Inc. will be a key player in ensuring Rubrik’s products and solutions continue to be successful in the market. Your primary responsibility is to review and evaluate competitive solutions to provide precise, accurate, and timely information that is leveraged by our internal sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams. You will use the knowledge gained through your research and hands-on testing to develop compelling messaging, battle cards, presentations, and sales training.
Responsibilities
- Perform Performance testing and articulate deep dive architectural understanding of the product
- Perform new product testing with a focus on delivering accurate, timely, unbiased analysis as a subject matter expert
- Collaborate with the sales enablement team to create sales training, tools (cheat sheets, whitepapers, presentations, etc.),
- Work with field enablement and field success teams to establish take-out approaches as part of standard sales plays.

- Provide day zero support to the field team for emerging product features

As an Enterprise Account Executive (PubSec), you will have ownership of all elements of bookings growth in new and existing accounts across west India. We are seeking a relentless self-starter who is hyper-focused on acquiring new logos by discovering and developing new opportunities, managing pipeline, and executing account strategies, while also encouraging existing customer expansion. The AE must drive pipeline generation daily while working with Sales Engineers, Sales Development, Channel Development, and Rubrik Channel Partners to exceed sales quotas.
What You'll Do:
- Define and execute sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities
- Develop and manage sales pipeline to move a large number of strategic transactions through the sales process
- Identify and close new opportunities for growth working with a mix of mid-enterprise accounts
- Present Rubrik, Inc. solutions within complex data center design environments
- Co-sell and strategize with partners, distributors, and VAR’s to enable rapid growth
- Provide Rubrik, Inc. management with feedback about the local market opportunity and identification of new business opportunities and channel partnerships
Experience You’ll Need:
- 10+ years Tech sales experience (selling either IT Infrastructure or SaaS – ideally both)
- Consistent track record landing net "new logos"
- Strong track record of performance selling to End User Fortune 100
- Track record of net new business logos via self sourced pipeline generation activities
- Understands & has used MEDDPICC as a sales qualification tool
- Understanding and experience working with channel
- Highly driven, goal oriented "get it done" attitude
- Experience selling a complex solution
Above all, you will have the ability to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment, self-starter and operate in highly matrixed organization. Demonstrate Rubrik’s RIVET values and be a role model collaborating effectively and creating a positive environment.
