Responsibilities:
Strategists (Strats) occupy the intersection of finance, markets, maths, and programming. In our daily work, we work closely with traders and structuring teams, analysing trades and asset origination opportunities for execution and ongoing management. This emphasis on advanced financial mathematics and a highly analytical approach as an integral part of the risk management at Rothesay distinguishes the firm from many of its competitors.
In general, we are looking for smart, quantitative, commercial, problem-solving-oriented, “get-things-done” candidates with the skills to deliver robust, high-performance software and quantitative analyses and with either experience in financial markets or a keen interest to learn about them.
The successful candidate will be focused on improving the pricing and risk management of Rothesay’s assets including fixed income bonds, RMBS and other ABS, commercial real estate loans, residential mortgages, and equity release mortgage securitisations, and on the development of models and systems for new asset types.

Summary
Define and build modern and secure IT infrastructure services.
Designing, implementing, securing and managing IT services within an in-house IT Infrastructure architecture team. Working closely with our Information Security and Support Teams to create services that are secure, consistent, reliable and supportable.
Working with the latest public cloud infrastructure services. This includes a heavy focus on Microsoft technologies, with extensive exposure to Microsoft Azure, Windows 365, Entra ID/Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Office 365 etc. Network infra is also within this team including LANs, WANs, WiFi, firewalls and cloud connectivity. With responsibility for a broad collection of technologies and the ideal candidate would be comfortable working across multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities include: -
· Drawing on experience across the Infrastructure stack to deliver new service projects from initial concept through design, test, security review, deployment and handover to run teams.
· Hands on implementation of new infrastructure and end user computing services
· Creation of documentation and service support processes
· Creation and implementation of technical and procedural cybersecurity controls
· Creation and maintenance of automation to ensure consistent repeatable implementation of M365 and Azure resources.
