ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX-focused) to join our Product Design team at RootstockLabs.

This is a product-first role. We are looking for someone who can own the end-to-end product design process, deeply understand user problems, and translate them into intuitive, scalable solutions across web and mobile. The role requires a strong emphasis on UX thinking and high-quality UI execution. Both are equally important.

You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to design user-centered experiences and contribute to the evolution of our design system.

While the primary focus of this role is product design, experience with illustration and motion design is a strong plus. The ability to enhance product experiences with custom visuals, storytelling, or motion/video assets will significantly increase your impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the end-to-end product design process from problem definition to final delivery
• Identify and validate user pain points through research, prototyping, and testing
• Translate product and business requirements into clear, intuitive design solutions
• Design high-quality user experiences across web and mobile
• Create and deliver pixel-perfect UI with strong attention to detail (layout, typography, hierarchy)
• Build, maintain, and evolve a scalable design system
• Design and produce print materials (e.g., brochures, event assets) as needed to support business and marketing initiatives
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Marketing teams
• Ensure consistency across all product and brand touchpoints
• Conduct design QA and iterate based on feedback and performance

WHAT YOU BRING

• 7+ years of experience in product design (UX/UI)
• Strong experience designing end-to-end product experiences (not just visuals)
• Proven expertise in UX thinking, flows, and problem-solving
• High level of UI craft and visual execution
• Strong experience working with and scaling design systems
• Ability to work hands-on while thinking strategically
• Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote, cross-timezone environment
• Fluent English (spoken and written)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're about to launch a payments venture on top of Rootstock, Bitcoin's EVM-compatible sidechain. This is a 0 → 1 role — you'll take proven protocol-level technology and shape it into a portfolio of payment products, such as remittances, merchant pay, or agentic transactions. You'll operate at startup speed, supported by some of the best engineers in crypto, shape your own squad, and be the external face of this venture. You will report to the CTO/Head of Core INFRA with high autonomy and support from the wider organisation. This is a breakout role for someone who's been in the engine room of a crypto payments project and is ready to lead one.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and execute the product portfolio roadmap across multiple payment verticals
• Validate product-market fit through customer discovery, pilots, and design partnerships
• Build, structure, and lead a dedicated product-engineering squad
• Represent the venture externally - conferences, partner meetings, ecosystem conversations
• Align with R&D on underlying protocol capabilities and upcoming rollouts
• Deliver several foundational platform launches within 6–18 months
• Drive commercial traction — early partners, distribution channels, revenue paths

• 3–7 years in payments/remittances/fintech; crypto experience is a must, traditional rails a plus
• Hands-on experience building crypto payment products — you have been in the room, not watching from the side

We are looking for an Operational Security Engineer to join our global FinTech organization and help strengthen the security of our people, devices, identities, and business operations.

This role focuses on building and operating practical security controls across the company’s internal environment. You will help secure enterprise platforms, strengthen identity and endpoint posture, assess risks introduced by third-party tools and emerging technologies, support incident response, and improve operational resilience across the organization.

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, analytical, and operationally minded, with strong cybersecurity experience and the ability to think like an adversary. The ideal candidate understands how modern threat actors operate, can apply threat-informed thinking to real-world business environments, and is comfortable working across identity, SaaS, endpoint, and user security.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams such as Productivity & AI Engineering, Cloud Security, and Application Security whenever work spans multiple security domains.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and continuously improve the security enterprise platforms through effective controls, detections, monitoring, and incident response.
• Configure and manage IAM, access controls, and contextual access policies in line with least-privilege principles and secure access standards.
• Manage and maintain the company’s MDM/EDR capabilities, ensuring endpoint visibility, policy coverage, timely updates, and organization-wide adoption.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Financial Risk Manager to join the Core Partners team, functionally within Finance. This role will support the development of Vault products that combine on-chain and off-chain financial infrastructure into investable products for institutional customers.

This person will sit inside the Core Partners team as the finance expert and will co-design the value proposition alongside the Product Lead from the very beginning. The role covers both the market side, meaning what is competitive and investable, and the risk side, meaning what could break under stress. This is not a review role at the end of the process. This person will be involved from day one of discovery and will help shape what is built, how it’s structured, and how capital should be allocated.

The role requires strong financial product judgment, deep understanding of risk, and the ability to assess opportunities across both traditional finance and DeFi environments. You will help evaluate partners, define capital allocation logic, and build the frameworks needed to assess and monitor product quality and risk.

This is a new function, so the person in this role will not inherit an existing playbook. They will build the risk assessment frameworks, financial models, evaluation criteria, and monitoring approach that guide product and capital decisions as the function develops.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Value Proposition & Product Design

• Co-design financial products and value propositions together with the Product Lead, ensuring products are competitive, investable, and structurally sound.
• Translate partner capabilities and protocol mechanics into products that distribution partners want to offer and institutional investors want to buy.
• Contribute from the earliest stage of discovery and help shape product direction from both a market and risk perspective.

Risk Assessment & Stress Testing

• Assess any financial, counterparty risk, liquidity risk, and interest rate risk across on-chain and off-chain components.
• Stress test yield strategies and evaluate vulnerabilities such as bundled leverage, incentive heavy emissions, and denominator mismatches.
• Model downside scenarios and assess what happens under stress, including protocol exploits, liquidity crises, and partner failures.

Capital Allocation & Performance Oversight

• Help define where vault capital should be deployed across protocols and partners.
• Set allocation parameters, monitor performance against expectations, and flag when outcomes drift from the intended assumptions.
• Evaluate product structures through a financial and strategic lens, not only through performance.

Partner Evaluation

• Assess protocols and partners through a financial risk lens as part of the broader partner quality framework.
• Evaluate not just whether something looks attractive as an investment, but whether a durable product can be built on top of it.

Framework Development

• Build risk assessment frameworks, financial models, evaluation criteria, and monitoring dashboards from scratch.
• Create a structure where there is none and help define how this new function should operate.
• Support the development of decision frameworks that guide product and partner evaluation over time.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Experience in financial product design, risk strategy, or structured finance within fintech, crypto, asset management, or protocol environments
• DeFi-native experience with a strong understanding of protocol mechanics and how yield strategies, lending markets, and tokenised products are structured
• Strong expertise in structured product risk, including counterparty risk, liquidity risk, and interest rate risk
• Clear understanding of product risk vs portfolio risk, with hands-on experience stress-testing financial products
• Strong hybrid on-chain and off-chain financial expertise, including smart contract risk, on-chain liquidity dynamics, protocol governance risk, and counterparty exposure across systems
• Ability to assess how risks interact and compound across on-chain and off-chain components under stress
• Strong commercial judgment on both market attractiveness and downside risk, with the ability to distinguish headline yield from durable product quality.
• Experience building frameworks, financial models, or evaluation criteria from scratch
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly
