This role:

Our Product Engineers play a crucial role in our user and product experience. You will be focused on solving innovative end-to-end product challenges in the best manner for our customers. Whilst you may have a natural inclination towards the backend or frontend, we expect you to have a good breadth of knowledge across the stack. You'll delve into all aspects of our tech stack and product portfolio, having meaningful impact on our customers, and the overall success of the business.

As a Staff Engineer, you'll typically be anchored to a single squad - often in a Tech Lead position - but you'll be expected to influence across all of our squads, and help to set high standards and consistency across the organisation. You should expect to operate at varying levels of detail across the stack and may have to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

You’ll be collaborating on a daily basis with designers, product managers, other engineers and the wider business to create a great product experience and continuously ship value to our users. You'll be expected to mentor others within your squad and instil extremely high quality bars and effective modes of operation across our technology organisation. You will also have input into our engineering strategy.

In the role you will:

• Collaborate to deliver an exceptional product. From understanding initial needs to crafting outstanding solutions, you'll work directly with product managers and designers to bring ideas to life. And by that, we don’t just mean implement requirements, we expect our engineers to understand our market and customers in order to be able to influence product strategy and challenge assumptions.
• Develop high quality systems and code. Working across our stack, you’ll design and develop the systems that underpin the Risk Ledger product and advance us towards our vision.

You’ll have:

• Worked in multiple engineering teams focused on building a customer focused SaaS product; weighing up delivering value to clients against technical excellence.
• Deep experience with either backend or frontend development.
  • Backend language preferably Go; or something like Java, C# or Python
  • Frontend: Typescript preferably with VueJS or React
• In either case, reasonable additional experience with:
  • SQL and 'NoSQL' Data stores, with deep knowledge of data model design
  • Containers and Orchestration: Docker / Kubernetes
  • Cloud providers and cloud native services, preferably AWS
  • Event driven systems, and messaging services such as SQS/SNS, Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience being the lead in the design of non-trivial solutions, working with others to implement.
• A desire to deeply understand our customers and the problems they face, in order to improve their day-to-day experience.
• An ability to thrive in ambiguity, tackling problems that might not be well defined and without obvious solutions, and comfortable operating autonomously.
• A keen sense of curiosity, with a natural drive to learn and grow.

• Participated in mentoring other members of your team. While this role will be hands-on technical as an individual contributor, we do expect Lead Engineers to take on some nurturing responsibility, and general tech leadership.

• Experience of data processing, machine learning, AI or integrating large datasets into a product.

As a Senior engineer, you’ll be embedded in a squad, trusted to autonomously lead and own impact in your area with little oversight. You should expect to work across the full stack, taking ownership of mid-to-large initiatives and driving them through to completion. You’ll set a high standard in your squad through the quality of your work and your ability to coach and support those around you.

You’ll be collaborating on a daily basis with designers, product managers, other engineers and the wider business to create a great product experience and continuously ship value to our users. You’ll be expected to set a strong example within your squad, championing best practices and helping to level up the engineers around you. You will also contribute to shaping our engineering strategy and practices.

What You’ll Do:

• Market Expansion: Deliver pipeline for core communities while driving growth in test regions. You have the opportunity to build and execute campaign plans for new U.S. verticals.
• Discovery: Conduct discovery calls to qualify opportunities for Account Executives and demonstrate the value of our model.
• Outreach: Manage high-volume outreach via cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn. You will also attend select industry events to meet prospective clients.
• Feedback Loop: Track interactions in our CRM and provide market insights to our Product and Marketing teams.

The Role:

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us for this next phase of growth; where we’ll be significantly evolving our core offering, expanding internationally and diversifying into new use cases.

You'll own a product area with a clear outcome (rather than a prescriptive feature list), where you'll explore the problem space, synthesise evidence and inputs to identify the right opportunities, and work with the team to solve them at pace.

You'll need to be skilled at employing best-practice product development for our stage of growth, and working within real constraints like technical debt while maintaining high velocity.

You'll also collaborate with the wider product team to strengthen our practice, supporting process improvements and contributing to better cross-functional ways of working with Design and Engineering.

In the role you will:

• Own a strategic area of growth. You'll start embedded in one of our core squads, working hand-in-hand with engineers and designers to critique bets, drive execution, and solve real customer problems.
• Collaborate to deliver step-changes in value. Though established and growing, we have a huge opportunity in front of us, so we’re looking to deliver big step-changes rather than incremental improvements. This will need strong collaboration both within the product teams, and across functions.
• Improve how we work as we scale. Work alongside the rest of our Product team, Design and Engineering to improve how we collaborate cross-functionally, refining our approach to discovery and delivery, and establish patterns that work for our stage of growth.

You’ll have:

• 7+ years’ commercial experience in Product Management, with significant time in early-stage B2B SaaS environments. Ideally this includes experience navigating phases of international and/or portfolio expansion, and times where you’ve taken high-level, ambiguous opportunity spaces, shaped, and delivered at pace.
• The ability to operate at different altitudes, shifting between strategic and tactical work as needed, while crafting compelling narratives that explain the "why" behind your bets.
• A bias for action, prioritising momentum and experimentation over perfection, with the ability to cut through ambiguity and move initiatives forward while managing risk appropriately.
• A results-driven mindset, focused on delivering measurable outcomes that align with strategic objectives, using qualitative and quantitative data to guide decisions and assess success.
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and commercial teams - able to translate between different perspectives, facilitate alignment, and build trust through clear communication and follow-through.

You might have:

• Experience integrating LLMs or AI capabilities into products.
• Product ops experience - such as improving product data tooling or feedback management systems.
