• 3+ years experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, or Finance Business Partnering

As a Strategic Finance Analyst within Publishing, you'll report to the Global Head of Publishing Finance. Your team works with senior go-to-market leadership on all topics related to budget and finance. As a Senior Manager,  Equity Administrator, you will play a key role in leading the equity team that is responsible for Riot’s Equity programs including change management, scaling and enhancing processes controls and financial reporting. This role will oversee general Equity administration functions and will report to the Controller. This role is key in maintaining, designing and implementing core operation processes within Riot’s Global Equity program. To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a hands on problem solver, have a deep understanding of global equity administration, processes and a keen ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Additionally, you will need the confidence to navigate through ambiguity, be flexible and provide solutions to help us develop the best strategies for our unique equity programs.

Responsibilities:

• Help facilitate all aspects of the Company’s equity programs, including processing of new grants, vesting and distributions, as well as the review of equity transactions, terminations, and cancellations;
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all equity data in the equity system of record, including overseeing tax reporting relating to equity awards
• Provide stock administration expertise and ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting guidance, securities laws, domestic and international tax regulations

As a Manager, Treasury, reporting directly to Riot’s Central Treasury Team, you will help develop the Treasury function for our Singapore publishing operation, including the cash management and payment operations. As a Treasury professional sitting on the local Enterprise team, you will oversee all cash management operations, including cash investments, in the SEA region. You will be an expert in in-house banking and have demonstrated experience automating cross-border treasury operations with knowledge of monetary policies and foreign currency transactions. As an important advisor to Riot’s international offices, you will make immediate important decisions regarding funding and optimization of cash balances. Your work will help develop and implement new procedures for the sustainability of Riot’s growth.

Responsibilities:

• Implement an integrated bank account structure across the SEA publisher (Multiple entities)
• Manage Riot’s bank relationships in the region, including asset managers and commercial bankers. 
• Work with Riot’s local and international cash management banks to create automated payment structures for Accounts Payable and Payroll operations.
• Prepare regional cash forecasts, working across the SEA publisher to obtain and analyze cash trends and forecast variances
• Manage Intercompany settlement process for SEA publisher
• Coordinate and manage the capital funding strategy across SEA entities
• Initiate short-term cash investments and ensure daily compliance with investment guidelines
• Manage FX transactions across SEA publisher and identify opportunities for strategic ST hedging of cash flows and balance sheet exposure (+8 currencies)
• Manage the bank account documentation; coordinating with legal dept. on bank resolutions with authorization levels, and managing the bank KYC process for legal compliance
• Implement and manage local Credit Card programs
• Support Strategic Finance and Strategic Sourcing Teams with financial analysis and contract negotiations
• Support Riot’s accounting group on all financial reporting matters and Riot’s annual audit locally
  • Reconciliation of local cash accounts
  • Coordinate local audit requirements with local banks

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of International Treasury experience

We are building a tech-savvy International Accounting team that is passionate about Riot’s mission and values and committed to working directly with cross functional teams to advise and collaboratively solve some of our most challenging business issues, allowing teams to make good decisions, solving key operational issues and helping them act in the best interest of Riot.

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be mainly involved in the general accounting operations of Southeast Asia (“SEA”) region in Riot Games. Your hands-on accounting experience and understanding of accounting principles ensure the general ledger is keeping Riot on a firm footing.

You will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records while supporting the accounting team for existing and new compliance requirements, or detecting and recording unusual transactions. Most importantly, this role requires someone who understands Riot’s mission and values and is committed to helping teams creatively solve business problems.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the journal entries such as accruals, prepaids, fixed assets and various general accounting within our established month-end reporting schedule.
• Responsible for month-end close activities including balance sheet reconciliations, flux analysis and liaising with outsourced accounting providers to prepare local ledgers and reporting packs.
• Understand accounts, investigate fluctuations, monitor trends, identify unusual transactions, research the proper accounting treatment and propose a resolution
• Address accounting issues related to new transactions by investigating the facts, and researching the proper accounting treatment under local and US GAAP
• Support the accounting team in audit and compliance-related activities, including preparation of audit schedules, responding to auditor inquiries and supporting internal controls processes
• Improve existing processes by finding ways to add efficiency or quality, including through system enhancements and improved data integrity
• Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or CPA, CA Singapore, or ACCA certification
• 4+ years of experience in public or corporate accounting, with 3+ years in a Big 4 assurance role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and with strong documentation and organizational skills
• Collaborative team player who devotes into the team to harmonize and encourage discussion on alternative and unconventional approaches
• Proactive attitude to solve problems and ask questions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle)
• Experience in gaming, entertainment, or technology industries
• Experience with US reporting and cross-regional reporting, including Southeast Asia entities
