What you bring
- Proven experience in channel sales, sales, or partner management, ideally in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Sales Expertise: A deep understanding of the full sales cycle, including managing complex sales processes from lead generation to closure.

Key Responsibilities
Driving Revenue (50%)
- L2 Sales Support: Provide Level 2 sales support to partner sales teams. This includes addressing complex sales inquiries, offering insights on best practices, facilitating the resolution of any challenges that arise during the sales process, and providing partners with the necessary resources to close deals effectively.
- Lead Management: Manage all partner-referred leads and own the complete sales cycle. This includes tracking leads from initial contact through to closure, ensuring timely follow-ups, and managing the full sales cycle.
- Pipeline Management: Ensuring a clean pipeline, and accurate forecasting for direct referrals to Remote, and also forecasting partner revenue for accurate GTM reporting.
Supporting Partner Sales Teams (35%)
- On-the-Job Training: Support sales enablement with the design and deliver comprehensive on-the-job training sessions for partner teams. Focus on equipping partners with the knowledge and tools needed to sell our services effectively, including product features, competitive positioning, and objection handling techniques.
- Sales Support Channel: Own the Slack sales support channel, serving as the primary point of contact for partner sales inquiries. Facilitate real-time communication, provide quick responses to queries, and ensure partners have the support they need to succeed in their sales efforts. Pull in DRIs from specialized teams when necessary.
Building Processes & Reporting (15%)
- Deal Closure and Salesforce Management: Ensure timely closure of all deals while maintaining the accuracy and cleanliness of Salesforce records. Regularly audit and update partner information to reflect current statuses, ensuring all data is reliable and actionable.
- Role Framework Iteration & Strategic Planning: Continuously iterate on the role framework as it develops, adapting strategies and processes based on feedback, performance metrics, and industry trends to ensure alignment with business goals and partner needs. Plan partner success over time with a strategic plan for driving revenue and automating the role.

What this job can offer you
The Senior Partner Solutions Architect is a strategic technical leader responsible for driving the successful integration of partners onto the Remote platform. This role acts as the primary technical bridge between our products and our partners' needs, owning the technical relationship from pre-sales qualification through to post-sales implementation and scaling. The ideal candidate will combine deep API and integration expertise with strong consultative skills to design and deliver high-value solutions that accelerate partner-driven revenue and expand Remote’s ecosystem.
What you bring
- Understanding of API architectures, including the ability to evaluate and design integrations using REST and SOAP based on business and technical requirements.
- Expertise in real time communication patterns, with the ability to determine when to use Webhooks versus WebSockets for scalable partner integrations.
- Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization frameworks, including OAuth 2.0 grant types (Authorization Code, PKCE, Client Credentials, etc.) and best practices for secure API access.
- Proven ability in rapid prototyping, technical troubleshooting, and leading complex integration projects from discovery to launch.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience creating high-quality technical documentation, training materials, and enablement resources.
- Proficiency with modern sales and development tools, including Salesforce and generative AI platforms for accelerating content creation, code review, and analysis.
- Writes and speaks fluent English

Key Responsibilities
- Partner-Facing Technical Leadership
- Lead the technical sales cycle for strategic partnerships, conducting discovery sessions, delivering tailored API-focused product demonstrations, and designing robust integration solutions.
- Scope, plan, and lead the delivery of technical proof-of-concept (POC) projects, serving as the technical lead on partner calls and projects.
- Act as the primary technical advisor for partners, helping triage critical integration issues and providing expert guidance in scoping, planning, and implementation to ensure successful adoption and long-term success.
- Technical Enablement & Scaling
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of technical enablement materials, including implementation guides, best practice documents, and technical readmes for both partners and internal teams.
- Create and improve scalable resources, such as the open-source "Remote API Demo" application, to enhance partner engagement and streamline the sales process.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Remote’s API and integration capabilities, providing internal training and acting as an onboarding buddy to scale the collective expertise of the Solutions Architect team.
- Strategic Collaboration & Product Influence
- Act as a key technical liaison between partners, sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure tight alignment on Remote Embedded product roadmaps and technical deliverables.
- Translate partner and customer requirements into detailed product requirements and business requirements, identifying product gaps and advocating for enhancements based on market feedback.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Solutions Architect function by refining processes, introducing new tools, and providing strategic input on team growth.
