This role will be a part of the Experience team and will oversee the San Francisco office aiming to create a workplace that collectively makes our Snoos’ time at Reddit a first-rate employee experience – every bit as vibrant as the platform we support.

San Francisco is our largest office location with high-level events happening regularly  – making hospitality and attention to detail key to success. You must be passionate about employee experience and making a positive impact on the workplace environment. You identify areas of improvement and proactively address them.  You pride yourself on your attention to detail, organization skills and ability to build relationships cross-functionally. You are the expert in the culture and employees in your local office(s). You are very familiar with working with external vendors. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with local and executive leadership, HR, IT, and other business leaders for implementation and execution of employee programming, specifically in fast-paced offices. 

This role will require in-person attendance at the San Francisco office Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for a lively, inclusive, and dynamic work culture and experience in the offices you are responsible for 
• Support in all aspects of in-person meetings, events, and general Reddit engagements in our San Francisco office including intake meetings, vendor management, and feedback reports after event completion.
• Ideate, plan, and execute culture-building events within the office and local area for employees.
• Assist with in-office catering and food deliveries, including ordering, set up, take down and invoice review/submission as it relates to events and activations.
• Assist local Experience team with all high-visibility or company-wide projects.
• Maintain relationships with landlords, vendors (janitorial, security, reception, food & beverage, etc.) and internal partners such as IT, HR, and local leadership.
• Maintain and update office documents as needed and ensure items are kept current and accurate - this includes our Reddit Wiki pages, expense reports, event intake forms, and feedback reports.
• Support ad-hoc needs from our Global Real Estate team
• Act as liaison to IT, Finance, and HR, senior leadership, and more cross-functional partner when planning local events requiring the use of additional resources.

At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, in an employee experience, employee engagement, or office management role, preferably at a tech company and/or a founder-led organization 
• Strong organizational and creative skills, detail-oriented and ability to handle multiple and ever-changing priorities in a fluid startup environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This role will be a part of the Experience team and will sit on the Global Real Estate arm of the team. The Experience Partner, Real Estate Leasing and Operations is responsible for the strategic management and optimization of the company’s global real estate portfolio. This role drives data-informed portfolio planning, lease administration oversight, financial performance, and space optimization to support the company’s growth and evolving workplace strategy.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing complex global lease negotiations and portfolios within a fast-paced technology environment and is extremely comfortable working with Senior Leadership teams to drive forward data-based strategic decisions. This role is expected to travel to be onsite at locations when necessary for real estate projects. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the strategic owner of Reddit’s global real estate portfolio operations, overseeing lease lifecycle management, portfolio planning, and governance across all office locations.
• Develop and execute portfolio strategies aligned to workforce planning, hybrid work models, and long-term business growth helping identify opportunities for consolidation, expansion, and cost optimization across regions.
• Lead end-to-end lease administration, including renewals, expirations, options, lease abstracts, CAM reconciliations, landlord compliance, and critical date management.
• Build and maintain financial models to support renewals, exits, restructures, and new market entry; develop forecasts, variance analyses, and long-range portfolio plans to inform executive decision-making.
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Workplace, Procurement, Legal, and external brokers to drive successful transactions, ensure alignment with business priorities, and support scenario planning and headcount modeling.
• Leverage workplace analytics and utilization data to inform portfolio decisions, space planning assumptions, and operational strategy.
• Maintain accurate, real-time portfolio data across lease administration systems; establish portfolio management standards, reporting dashboards, and executive-ready insights.
• Drive process improvements, operational rigor, and automation initiatives across the GRE function; manage third-party lease administration and portfolio vendors as needed.

At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have:

• 5+ years of experience in corporate real estate, including commercial lease negotiations and lease lifecycle management across multiple locations.
• Deep understanding of commercial lease structures and market dynamics, including fluency in key lease terms (e.g., TI allowances, CAM, rent escalations, options, abatements) and the ability to evaluate competitive market conditions.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to build clear financial models, portfolio plans, and executive-ready planning materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that translate into presenting recommendations to senior leadership and driving alignment in high-visibility decision forums.
• Advanced ability to visualize and translate complex data into clean, comprehensive dashboards and planning sheets.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong design sensibility and the ability to approach workplace challenges through creative, thoughtful design solutions.

• Assign and manage tasks for the local Experience team members (4+) including project/task distribution
• Manage workplace operations, strategic development, and budget execution for Reddit’s (EST) regional offices.
• Support in all aspects of in-person meetings, events, and general Reddit engagements in the offices you support including intake meetings, vendor management, and feedback reports after event completion.
• Ideate, plan, and execute culture-building events within the office and local area for employees
• Support international customization of workplace programs, including employee perks.
• Responsible for creation of new workplace processes and management of the correct implementation.
• Oversee and maintain relationships with landlords, vendors (janitorial, security, reception, indoor plants, etc.) and internal partners such as IT, HR, and local leadership.
• Assist local Experience team with all high-visibility or company-wide projects.
• Maintain and update office documents as needed and ensure items are securely kept, current and accurate - this includes our Reddit Wiki page, expense reports, security policies, etc.
• Position will also include various ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks required to support the business and Experience team throughout the year.

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 5 years of office coordination, administrative support or similar role; experience within a technology or startup environment strongly preferred 
• Minimum of three years previous experience as a People Leader 
• Previous experience working across a variety of timezones, cultures, and markets 
• A creative approach to your work balanced by a love of operational efficiency, with proven ability to juggle multiple projects and ambiguity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate under tight deadlines and time pressure.
• Ability to solve problems and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding
• Google Suite experience such as Google Slides, Sheets, and Docs
