Team
The Risk Controlling team shapes Raisin Group’s resilience by establishing and maintaining the group-wide risk management framework in line with regulatory standards. The team defines risk policies and controls and is responsible for identifying and assessing material risks across the group, including operational, credit, market, and liquidity risk, using methods such as risk assessments, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
In addition, Risk Controlling continuously monitors the group’s risk profile through risk metrics, key risk indicators, and early warning signals. The team prepares risk reporting for senior management and regulatory authorities and supports capital and liquidity adequacy assessments in line with regulatory requirements, ensuring the business model is backed by appropriate risk-bearing capacity and liquidity strength.
Your Responsibilities
- Reporting & Data Aggregation: Supporting the Risk team in the preparation of regular risk reports, including data collection, quality checks, and formatting for board-level presentations.
- General Organizational Scaling: Assisting in the optimization of departmental workflows and administrative infrastructure.
- Bilingual Documentation: High-quality translation (DE/EN) and linguistic alignment of internal policies, process descriptions, and regulatory correspondence.
- JIRA Lifecycle Management: Systematic creation and scheduling of the JIRA ticket backlog for all recurring risk controlling tasks (e.g., limit monitoring, reporting cycles, and committee preparations) for 2026 and 2027.
Your Profile
- Availability: You are ready for a full-time commitment of 3 to 12 months, starting in June or July 2026.
- Education: You are currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Finance or Banking or recently graduated.
- Analytical Mindset: You possess strong judgment and a structured approach to risk management within the regulated banking sector.
- Linguistic Skills: You are business-fluent in both German and English (C1 level or higher).
- Operational Excellence: You have a talent for structuring complex information and managing high-stakes operational workflows with precision and a sharp eye for detail.
- Digital Literacy: You have a passion for automation—creating efficient workflows, clearing ticket backlogs, and maintaining rigorous documentation.
- Reporting Expert: You are proficient in data aggregation and can design professional reporting decks (PPT, Excel, Google Suite) tailored for senior management.

Team
The Risk Controlling department is responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust, group-wide risk management framework aligned with Basel principles and guidelines. This involves implementing policies and controls to identify, measure, monitor, and manage the bank's risks, including credit, market, operational, and liquidity risk. The team's primary functions are ongoing risk profile monitoring, preparing accurate risk reports for stakeholders and regulators, and assessing capital and liquidity adequacy according to regulatory frameworks like CRR.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, your core responsibilities includes the following:
- Lead Normative ICAAP Management: Oversee the normative perspective of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), ensuring continuous regulatory capital compliance for the bank and the group across a multi-year planning horizon, including adverse and stress scenarios.
- Develop and Maintain the Recovery Plan: Own the bank's Recovery Plan, including the monitoring and monthly reporting of recovery indicators to the Management Board for early detection of financial or operational crises.
- Manage New Product & Process Oversight (NPP / AT 8.2): Drive Risk Controlling's involvement in New Product Processes (NPP) and significant process/IT changes (MaRisk AT 8.2), providing independent risk assessments and sign-offs for new business models, products, or organizational restructuring.
- Prepare Risk Reporting & Governance: Contribute to and prepare risk reports for senior management, governance bodies, and regulatory authorities (BaFin/Bundesbank), providing deep-dive analyses into risk concentrations and capital adequacy.
- Coordinate the Annual Risk Inventory: Support the annual risk inventory process to identify all material risks including credit, market, operational, and ESG factors and establish a comprehensive, uniform risk profile.
- Execute and Oversee the Biennial LSI Stress Test: Manage the end-to-end execution of the LSI Stress Test, coordinating data collection across departments, performing sensitive results analysis, and ensuring the timely submission of high-quality results to supervisory authorities (BaFin/Bundesbank).
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and professional experiences:
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in risk management or risk consulting within the banking or financial services sector.
- Hands-on experience with core regulatory processes, specifically ICAAP, Recovery Planning, and New Product/Process Oversight (NPP/AT 8.2).
- Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements, including MaRisk and Basel III.
- Experience with risk management systems and tools.
- Professional certifications are a plus.
- Strong analytical capability, sound judgment, and a structured approach to risk management in a regulated banking environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work across functions and present complex risk topics to senior management.
- A proactive, independent working style demonstrating strong ownership and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to balance operational execution with a comprehensive, enterprise-wide risk perspective.

Money Laundering Reporting Officer (f/m/d)

Team
Join the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) department as our MLRO/GwB. You will lead our mission to prevent, detect, and combat money laundering, terrorism financing, and fraud. As the primary contact for BaFin and the FIU, you ensure Raisin Bank meets Geldwäschegesetz (GwG) and Kreditwesengesetz (KWG) requirements. In this role, you collaborate with a team of experts to develop internal guidelines, oversee control mechanisms, and manage training programs to ensure group-wide AFC compliance and integrity.
Your Responsibilities
- Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary interface with the BaFin and the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).
- Policy Development: Design, implement, and maintain internal AFC policies, ensuring they reflect the latest updates to the GwG and AuA.
- Risk Management: Conduct and regularly update the group’s annual risk analysis to identify institutional risks related to money laundering and fraud.
- Monitoring & Investigation: Oversee the transaction monitoring systems and conduct manual investigations into high-risk accounts or complex structures.
- Advisory: Provide expert guidance to the Board and business units on high-risk client onboarding (PEP, High-Risk Jurisdictions) and the compliance implications of new products.
- Training: Develop and deliver mandatory AML/CTF training programs for all employees to foster a robust culture of compliance.
- Auditing: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during annual § 25h KWG audits.
Your Profile
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant professional experience as an MLRO or Deputy MLRO within a bank.
- Expert knowledge of statutory requirements, particularly the German Money Laundering Act (GwG), BaFin AuA, AML Regulation, EBA Guidelines, and the German Banking Act (KWG).
- Deep expertise in the areas of KYC, customer identification, and complex risk rating methodologies.
- Proven experience in defending risk analyses before boards of management and supervisory authorities.
- Hands-on mentality and independent, proactive action paired with high entrepreneurial drive
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with high decision making authority regarding technological innovations.
- Highest degree of integrity, a sense of responsibility, and the personal reliability required for a key function.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both German and English.
