Merchandising Manager, Young Adult

We are looking for a Merchandising Manager to join our growing Merchandising team. In this role, the Merchandising Manager, Young Adult role is responsible for introducing a targeted assortment toward a younger age demographic to the Quince’s offering for Men and Women. This person will be mainly responsible for launching and expanding the age 22-30 product assortment.

At Quince, we believe that everyone deserves access to high quality products at radically affordable prices.  We believe the marketplace for consumer products is inundated with too many options, and customers find product quality difficult to determine and yet frequently pay more for a variety of things that can be delivered at much lower prices. Our goal is to find the best products in the marketplace and connect the makers of these goods directly to the customers who want them. Quince has proven the consumer value proposition in the apparel and accessories categories, especially within the men’s sweaters space and has built a loyal, repeat consumer base.  We want to build on that value proposition and continue to scale the Men's and Women’s category in both existing and new product classes.

Requirements

• Role is based in San Francisco California, with 3 days per week in office requirement.
• 8+ years of retail merchandising experience in the Women’s apparel category, preferably with luxury expertise
• E-commerce experience and/or DTC experience preferred
• Proven track record of progressing within an organization and demonstrating continuous growth in roles and responsibilities
• Product obsessed with experience in leveraging data tools and external sources
• Critical eye to anticipate customer needs (both the “science” and “art” of retail merchandising)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical with focus on execution, problem-solving, improving processes and brand enhancement
• Continuous learner and highly curious; always open to considering new perspectives; proactive when changing course and facing added challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

THE ROLE

Media Coordinator

We are seeking a Media Coordinator to support our creative and production teams in managing and optimizing product imagery. This role will focus on ensuring that all visual assets meet brand quality standards, from upload to final delivery. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Photoshop for light image editing and retouching.

Responsibilities:

Image Management & Uploads:

• Organize, upload, and maintain digital assets in content management systems (CMS) and shared libraries. Stay updated with photo editing trends and techniques to improve image quality.
• Retouch images for digital and print, maintaining consistency across channels.
• Prepare social media-ready images, following specific platform guidelines.
• Efficiently handle high-volume image editing, ensuring timely delivery.
• Foster a supportive team environment with a professional attitude.
• Ensure file naming conventions, metadata tags, and categorization follow established guidelines.
• Streamline digital asset management for efficient team workflow. 

Image Quality Control (QC)

• Review images for technical accuracy (resolution, sharpness, cropping, consistency).
• Identify and correct visual issues such as exposure, white balance, or color discrepancies.
• Verify that all imagery aligns with brand visual standards and product guidelines.

Color Matching

• Assess and correct product color accuracy to ensure product photography reflects true-to-life tones. This includes color matching to product families.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including merchandisers, photographers, retouchers, and design teams to align on color consistency across platforms.

Light Image Retouching in Photoshop

• Perform basic corrections including exposure adjustments, dust/blemish removal, and background cleanups.
• Apply subtle enhancements to ensure images are visually appealing while maintaining authenticity.
• Prepare final images optimized for web, social, and print formats.

Qualifications

Required:

• 1–3 years of experience in digital asset management, image QC, or media coordination (retail/e-commerce experience preferred).
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop with strong skills in light retouching, color correction/matching, and file optimization.
• Understanding of digital imaging standards (resolution, aspect ratios, RGB/CMYK, file formats).
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot visual inconsistencies quickly.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), DAM tools, or e-commerce platforms is a plus.

THE ROLE

Paid Social Video Producer

We are seeking a Paid Social Video Producer to join our growing team. As a Paid Social Video Producer, you will be a performance-minded production leader who produces Quince’s in-house performance shoots from end to end. You are responsible for owning the full shoot process — from pre-production planning through on-set leadership and post-production handoff.

You will also lead the visual execution on set, making real-time decisions around framing, pacing, tone, performance, coverage, and modular capture to ensure every shoot delivers high-quality, performance-ready creative for our Performance Marketing Content. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, know how to translate performance briefs into executable shoot plans, and understand how to capture scalable, testable content built for growth.

This role is critical to scaling Quince’s in-house performance content engine. Owning 4 major areas of the business:

*This role is required to be onsite in our San Francisco Office 5-days a week* 

Responsibilities

• Producing and leading 3–5 studio shoot days per week from planning through asset handoff. Owning all shoot logistics, timelines, talent coordination, and on-set operations.
• Translating performance briefs into scalable, test-ready video content
• Running the visual execution on set, including art directing and shooting for framing, pacing, tone, coverage, and creative quality
• Align with styling and merchandising teams on priority SKUs
• Ensure each shoot captures the modular content needed for performance testing, including hooks, CTAs, alternate messaging, b-roll, and to support growth testing needs
• Maintain a high bar for creative quality while balancing output, speed, and testing volume
• Partner closely with Growth Marketing to prioritize testing needs and content opportunities
• Partner with editors during post-production to ensure final assets reflect the intended creative direction and performance strategy
• Collaborate with Brand and Creative teams to ensure alignment where appropriate
• Ensure organized file management and clean handoff to post-production

Qualifications

Required:

• 5–8+ years in video production (DTC/fashion/beauty/lifestyle preferred)
• End-to-end shoot production with strong studio lighting and camera skills
• Skilled in social-first, performance-driven content (framing, storytelling, hooks, pacing)
• Hybrid producer/operator: can shoot, light, direct talent, and problem-solve on set
• Experience creating high-volume photo/video assets in fast-paced studios
• Strong organization and media management; collaborates well with post teams
• Self-sufficient, adaptable, cross-functional, versatile, multi-skilled producer
• Talent booking/management experience

THE ROLE

Merchant, Men’s Outerwear & Suiting

We are seeking a product obsessed Buyer to join our growing team and lead the Men’s Outerwear & Suiting category.  In this role, you will scale the Men’s outerwear & Suiting business - owning the assortment, pricing, and strategy end to end. You’ll combine product intuition with data-driven decision-making to build a high-performing assortment that delights customers and accelerates Quince's growth. This role will lead cross functional teams from PD, Tech design, Planning, and marketing to ensure deliverables are met to drive the business.

Success in this role means driving exceptional growth in the outerwear category by delivering an assortment that balances data-driven insights with great product insight, while meeting our quality and product standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and scale the men’s outerwear assortment from product ideation to launch, working closely with all crossfunctional partners to drive category success
• Curate an assortment that delivers on revenue, margin, and quality targets while addressing needs of the consumer
• Leverage data, customer insights, and retail trends to build, optimize, and scale the assortment — analyzing performance, refining product mix, and making evidence-based decisions
• Partner closely with sourcing to develop and bring new products to market, with a focus on delivering quality products at radical prices
• Manage the product development process and all decisions with sourcing partners and tech design to ensure on time delivery of product launches
• Collaborate with marketing, site, and creative teams to ensure compelling product launches and storytelling that need business needs
• Utilize technology and data tools to build, evaluate, and scale the product strategy

All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.

THE ROLE

Color Developer

We are seeking a Color Developer to join our growing team. This role will support Apparel, partnering closely with our Color Forecast Expert to execute color from concept through bulk production. This role is highly detail-oriented and technical, with strong cross-functional collaboration across Merchandising, Product Development, Creative, Engineering, and Supply Chain. You’ll be responsible for ensuring color accuracy, consistency, and integrity across lab dips, testing, production, and digital representation.

Responsibilities

Color Development & Approval

• Review and approve lab dips to ensure alignment with approved color standards
• Evaluate color against tolerance ranges using both visual and instrumental methods
• Confirm dye lot consistency across bulk production
• Troubleshoot color issues and work with mills and factories to drive resolution

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Manage and review color fastness testing results (wash, light, rub, etc.)
  Test and validate fabric opacity to ensure coverage and quality expectations
• Flag risks early and recommend corrective actions to protect color integrity

Color Management & Digitization

• Support the setup and ongoing use of color management tools
• Partner with the Engineering team to digitize color standards and workflows
• Help build scalable, repeatable processes for color accuracy across styles and categories

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Creative to ensure PDP imagery accurately reflects approved color standards
• Align with Product Development and Production teams to maintain color consistency from development through bulk
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners on color expectations and approvals

Qualifications

Required: 

• 5+ years of experience in color development, textile development, or material R&D (women’s apparel preferred)
• Strong understanding of dyeing processes, color tolerances, and lab/bulk workflows
• Hands-on experience approving lab dips and evaluating color accuracy
• Familiarity with color testing standards and reports (AATCC, ISO, etc.)
• Experience with color management systems or digital color tools a plus
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across creative and technical teams
• Clear communicator who’s comfortable working with vendors and factories
• Motivated by working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, where flexibility to stretch into or out of functional comfort zones is crucial for team success
