Join our global Market Services team in London as a Market Data Specialist, supporting the selection, onboarding, compliance, and oversight of market data across the firm.

Your future role within QRT includes:

• Managing contracts and maintaining an accurate database of current and historical agreements
• Updating the inventory system with vendors, contacts, contracts and other key data
• Leading vendor relationships, including handling day-to-day queries and information requests
• Supporting regulatory requirements, including month-end reporting to exchanges
• Assisting with the development and adoption of new tooling to improve team efficiency
• Contributing to a wide range of market data-related projects
• Ensuring clear links between contracts, pricing records, and user banding limits
• Preparing documentation and materials for audits as needed
• Processing and reconciling market data invoices accurately and in line with the procurement cycle

Your present skillset:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in market data
• Familiarity with exchanges and vendors (e.g. LSE, NYSE, Bloomberg, FactSet)
• Exposure to permissioning systems such as DACS and EMRS
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and clearly present large datasets
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to summarise and explain information clearly
• Familiarity with inventory systems such as MDM and access control processes is a plus

Join our global Market Data team in Hong Kong as a Market Data Analyst, supporting all aspects of the firm’s market data. The team is responsible for selecting and onboarding products, ensuring compliance and reporting requirements are met, and resolving data queries with providers. The role requires a self-motivated individual with a methodical, logical, and creative approach to problem-solving.

Your future role at QRT:

• Manage contracts and maintain accurate records in the inventory database (pricing, usernames, departments).
• Lead vendor relationships, resolving day-to-day queries and information requests.
• Meet regulatory requirements, including month-end reporting to exchanges.
• Monitor exchange notifications, assess required actions, and update systems accordingly.
• Develop tooling and support a variety of market data projects to improve team efficiency.
• Maintain organised records linking contracts to pricing, user limits, and other key data.
• Prepare for audits and ensure timely, accurate processing and reconciliation of market data invoices. 

Your present skillset:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
• 4 + year’s experience working with market data, either at analyst level or equivalent.
• Experience working with exchanges e.g. LSE, NYSE, Nasdaq, Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv, etc.
• Experience of permissioning systems such as DACS and EMRS.
• Experienced working knowledge of reference data, market data and index data with a specific focus on non-display usage.
• Ability to analyse and interpret large datasets, predominantly in excel and to present the data in a meaningful manner.
• Detail oriented; comfortable keeping records in online systems.
• An awareness of the financial services or investing sector.
• Ability to communicate key information quickly and effectively at the "headline" and detailed level.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks; proven organisational and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and an understanding of access controls and system provisioning is desirable but not essential.
• Experience within a similar firm a plus.

Your future role at QRT: 

• Support vendor onboarding and vendor due diligence
• Maintain and update the MDM market data inventory
• Maintain internal controls around data licensing and usage
• Ensure compliance with vendor agreements and licensing terms
• Identify and close compliance and data usage gaps
• Produce exchange and inventory reports (e.g., Bloomberg, LSEG)
• Interpret contracts and ensure operational alignment with commercial terms
• Support audits and control reviews from a data governance lens

Your present skillset:

• 1+ years’ experience in market data or data ops, ideally with audit or compliance exposure
• Familiarity with licensing terms, vendor policies, and market data systems (e.g., Calero MDM, TRG Screen)
• Some experience with permissioning tools (e.g., DACS, EMRS)
• Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or AI tools is a plus
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven
• Clear communicator, comfortable working across teams and with vendors
