The role

Quanata is seeking a Cloud Enablement Engineer to join us in providing a suite of solutions centered by AWS services that enable our product development and engineering organization to create, and deliver Quanata’s technical offerings. Our team focuses on enabling software engineers to reliably and rapidly deliver software, and manage the company’s cloud infrastructure standards, while empowering developers to build for their needs.

Your day-to-day

1. Implement AWS cloud standards for infrastructure, networking, and software components, optimizing for security, speed, and cost-efficiency.
2. Support new technologies to stay ahead of the needs of the business.
3. Collaborate with development teams to ensure their applications are optimized for deployment in an IaC environment, and meet security and compliance requirements.
4. Support and maintain automation and deployment processes to enable and improve developer experience and efficiency.
5. Support our pattern libraries for IaC to enable developers to “plug-and-play” to build out their own environments
6. Support monitoring and logging solutions to allow development teams to assure their platform is  performing at its best.
7. Encourage developer autonomy and self-service by contributing to developer training and documentation for Platform products.
8. Promote a supportive culture focused on building reliable systems and processes based on established best practices in the industry.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in AWS, including security, performance and scalability issues.
10. Support our security and compliance measures to ensure the AWS services meets regulatory requirements. 
11. Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for internal developer services.

About you

• Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science or equivalent relevant professional experience and;
• 3-5 years of experience in AWS Cloud Services or developer experience tooling to include:
• Three or more years of experience working with specific AWS technologies including PaaS specific offerings.
• Two or more years of experience working with distributed systems.
• Experience and understanding of CI/CD processes and commercial tooling such as GitLab and Github.
• Experience and understanding of Go, Python, or Bash languages
• Experience and understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience enabling and troubleshooting containerized workloads in ECS, Docker Swarm or Kubernetes.

• Experience engaging with users of developer platforms to ascertain needs and opportunities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to contribute during code reviews, and capture tasks.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and great attention to detail.

At least one associate-level AWS certification (or willingness to provide proof of certification within 6 months of employment).

Bonus Points

• Working with serverless technologies within AWS or GCP
• Experience with Multi-Region deployments within AWS or GCP
• Prior involvement in running developer surveys or gathering feedback to guide DevEx improvements.

Salary: $155,000 to $205,000*

The role

The role

We’re looking for an accomplished and well-rounded SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our great team, which is making a huge impact by delivering new-age insurance solutions to modern society. You'll build robust automated test frameworks for API components and data platforms. Our friendly team of highly experienced SDETs loves to learn and create. Your day-to-day

1. Follow agile methodologies and participate in scrum meetings and software quality audits for all the phases of SDLC.
2. Responsible for test creation, testing a large module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features, or whole feature area.
3. Perform business requirement analysis by thoroughly understanding Project Design Document and Business Requirement Document.
4. Develop scalable and robust test automation frameworks and scripts using Python, Pytest, BDD frameworks, and PyCharm; executes integration, regression, and performance testing using industry standard tools. 
5. Research new or better alternate automated testing tools.
6. Extensively use TestRail Test Management tool or equivalent to maintain the test suites, manage the automation test results and analyze the test failures.
7. Works independently and collaborates across teams to drive quality initiatives and lead detailed software quality discussions.
8. Demonstrates clarity of thought designing end to end test scenarios to work through limited information and vague problem definitions; mentor other quality engineers.

We're seeking a senior backend engineer to build and enhance the critical services that power our business. You’ll be developing systems that manage core financial and underwriting operations, coordinating dynamic machine learning models to increase the intelligence of our industry-leading policy management solution, and optimizing our application’s architecture and observability to meet the performance and reliability demands of our customers.

The role

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help the team deliver data science services and streaming data pipelines. Over the course of your time with Quanata, you will have the opportunity to develop data pipelines that bring together data from multiple sources to evaluate insured risk, deliver services that enable data science models, and enable business and partner access to key datasets.

Your day-to-day

1. Design and build robust data pipelines that integrate data from diverse sources to support risk evaluation and business intelligence.
2. Build streaming data pipelines using Kafka and AWS services to enable real-time data processing and decision-making.
3. Create and operate data services that make curated datasets accessible to internal teams and external partners through APIs and scheduled deliveries.
4. Support data science workflows by building infrastructure that enables model training, feature engineering, and production inference.
5. Implement data quality frameworks including validation, monitoring, and alerting to maintain trust in our data assets.
6. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices to ensure reliable, repeatable deployments.
7. Deliver highly reliable services by following engineering best practices and participating in an on-call rotation to support production systems.
8. Contribute to the data warehouse by creating well-modeled datasets in Snowflake that empower analysts and data scientists.
9. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that drive value.

About you

The role

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer with a specialty in MLOps Engineering that can help drive the organization toward model development and delivery best practices. You will help shape and implement automation across the machine learning lifecycle from data collection to model training to model monitoring. In this high impact role, you will partner with both data engineers focused on data science service delivery and data scientists to develop a robust platform that shortens the time to market of new data science models at Quanata. 

Your day-to-day

1. Operationalize key data science solutions that enable risk‑prediction products across underwriting, pricing, claims routing, and marketing. 
2. Design and build ML pipelines using industry best practices, primarily leveraging AWS services like SageMaker, and integrating with tools such as MLflow for experiment tracking and data platforms like Snowflake.
3. Stand‑up and operate a shared feature store (Snowflake Snowpark + Kafka) that supports both batch and real‑time feature retrieval.
4. Own real‑time inference services, exposing low‑latency endpoints (SageMaker endpoints or EKS micro‑services) and managing blue/green or canary deployments.
5. Implement comprehensive testing strategies (including Unit, integration, data validation, model validation, and performance testing) within robust CI/CD pipelines to maintain high platform quality. 
6. Enable ML Governance: Manage ML models and data versioning, experiment tracking, and reproducibility.. 
7. Implement event‑driven orchestration that triggers automated retraining, evaluation, and redeployment based on data drift or business events.
8. Monitor production models for performance, drift, and data quality—and drive automated remediation. 

About you

• Bachelor degree or equivalent relevant experience and;
• 8 years of industry experience with 2 years focused in MLOps and 2 years in software engineering or equivalent experience 
• Comprehensive experience in Python and docker. Familiarity with build tooling such as bash and bazel. 
• Advanced proficiency in IaC principles and tools like Terraform.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, deploying, and managing scalable and resilient MLOps solutions on AWS.
• Applied expertise in the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, including data ingestion, preprocessing, model training, deployment, and production monitoring.
