What this role is really about

You will be the person customers call when they need to build something that has to work — at scale, in real time, with no room for “it usually works.”

This role sits at the intersection of:

• Event-driven architecture
• Distributed systems
• Applied AI

You won’t just design solutions — you’ll build prototypes, guide implementations, and help customers get to production.

What you’ll do

• Design real-time architectures for use cases like live events, IoT, digital health, and real-time commerce
• Build working prototypes and demo applications using APIs, SDKs, and AI capabilities
• Run hands-on workshops with customers and engineering teams
• Partner with Sales to shape deals and accelerate adoption
• Translate customer needs into product feedback for Engineering
• Create reusable architecture patterns and technical assets

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years in solutions architecture, solutions engineering, or a deeply technical customer-facing role
• Strong coding ability in JavaScript, Python, or Java
• Experience with APIs, SDKs, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with real-time or event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub, WebSockets, streaming)
• Ability to work directly with customers and engineers to design and build systems
• Curiosity about AI systems (LLMs, RAG, automation workflows)

What success looks like

• Build reusable prototype applications that accelerate deals
• Help customers move from concept → production faster
• Influence architecture decisions across enterprise customers
• Contribute to product direction through real-world use cases

• Not a pure demo role
• Not pre-sales only
• Not an implementation-only role
• Not isolated from Product or Engineering

We’re building an AI capability layer that helps developers add AI features to real-time streams such as classification, summarization, routing, enrichment, and automation, without breaking latency, reliability, or trust.

What You’ll Do

Ship AI-powered features into production

Integrate LLM inference, build evaluation and observability tooling, and own the full lifecycle of AI services — from quality metrics and tracing to cost and reliability.You’ll work with providers like OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Azure, or open-source models and deliver features used by real customers.

Build & operate AI services at scale

Design low-latency inference pipelines for high-throughput message streams.Implement model routing, prompt and retrieval patterns (RAG), caching, batching, and fallbacks.You’ll solve real-world constraints around latency, scale, and cost.

Enable other teams

Build internal frameworks, APIs/SDKs, and tooling so other teams can ship AI features safely and consistently.Partner with product and engineering on trade-offs between latency, cost, accuracy, and privacy.Clear documentation and great developer experience matter here.

Tech & Communication

Work mainly with TypeScript, Python, or Rust (and be open to learning the others).Use modern AI-assisted tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.).Communicate clearly in English.
