About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our team at Public.com. This role will focus on driving new user conversion and early engagement, and will be instrumental in increasing LTV and retention across the customer lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be an expert in lifecycle marketing strategy, combining analytical storytelling with creative problem solving. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role that partners closely with product, engineering, data, and brand to build, test, and optimize lifecycle programs.

This role is based in NYC and will be onsite at least 4 day / week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute lifecycle strategy for onboarding, optimizing for first-time investments and multi-product adoption.
• Own the strategy, messaging, and technical success of all onboarding-related user messaging.
• Build and maintain Braze canvasses, emails, push notifications, and deep in-app integrations, with regular reports on your results to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with product, brand, and data to identify new opportunities to improve conversion rates and channel performance.
• Analyze performance, leveraging Mixpanel, Looker, and other analytics tools to identify trends and performance optimization opportunities
• Drive experimentation and A/B testing to iterate and refine messages, improving conversion rates and LTV.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and changes, ensuring Public.com remains at the forefront of lifecycle marketing innovations.

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing strategies and channels, including email, push, in-app messaging, SMS, and direct mail
• Expertise in lifecycle marketing tools, preferably Braze
• Comfortable writing HTML, CSS, and Liquid or similar templating language
• SQL, JSON, and webhook expertise a bonus
• Excellent writing skills and deep knowledge of email design best practices
• Experience running successful A/B tests optimizing new user conversion.
• Strong understanding of attribution models, incrementality testing, and marketing analytics.
• Proven ability to optimize funnel conversion, retention, user engagement, and LTV
• Proficiency with marketing and product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Looker, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable making data-driven decisions.
• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for testing and learning.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in fintech.

What You’ll Do

As an Accounting Manager, you’ll own core accounting operations while helping us scale processes in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. You’ll work closely with leadership and play a key role in building a strong financial foundation. 

• Manage the month-end close and reporting process to ensure an accurate and timely close.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, with a strong focus on process improvement, scalability, and automation.
• Assist in the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support the year-end financial audit and work directly with external auditors to ensure a smooth, timely audit process.
• Partner cross-functionally to support special projects, ad-hoc reporting, and financial analysis requests.
• Help identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows and strengthen the overall accounting infrastructure.
• Act as a hands-on contributor in a lean team environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred or in progress).
• 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience (mix of public accounting and/or high-growth startup experience strongly preferred).
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience managing or supporting month-end close processes in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting tools (NetSuite experience is a plus).
• Exposure to audit processes and working directly with external auditors.
• Experience in improving or building accounting processes, controls, or automation is a strong plus.
• Fintech or other high-growth industry experience is a bonus.

About the Role

Public's Customer Experience team is looking for a licensed, client-focused Member Support Specialist who's passionate about helping people navigate their financial lives with confidence. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of finance and technology: you'll be a trusted resource for our members while partnering closely with teams across the company to continuously improve the Public experience.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a subject matter expert across member support channels (email, chat), delivering accurate, timely, and thoughtful responses to member inquiries
• Use your financial expertise to help members understand Public's products, features, and services so they can make informed decisions
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Operations to resolve complex member issues efficiently and thoroughly
• Surface member feedback to Product and Engineering teams, advocating for improvements that meaningfully enhance the member experience
• Help raise the bar on support quality across the team by sharing knowledge and best practices

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in financial services
• Active FINRA licenses: Series 7 and 63, or Series 7 and 66
• Strong written communication skills: you can explain complex financial concepts clearly and with empathy
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment; quick to pick up new tools and workflows
• A self-starter who can work independently and solve problems creatively

What you’ll do:

You’ll be directly responsible for managing our high-touch, high-value member Concierge team, with direct responsibility for the asset & revenue growth of Public’s most valuable members. You’ll be responsible for working with all functions and utilizing all assets at Public to solve problems and deliver the best possible investing experience to Concierge members. You will, where required, identify and work with external partners to fulfill Concierge member needs to deliver on this experience. In addition, you will be responsible for managing our Sales team, composed of team members focused on acquiring Active Traders, API Traders, and High Value Members, where you will be ultimately responsible for member acquisition and conversion in those verticals.

• 6+ years experience working in a premier consumer finance and/or wealth management (or private banking) organization
• Track record of acquiring, building, and growing client relationships directly, and managing individuals that do so.
